King Arthur, a hot summer movie showing at Flix.

Jeff Simon’s review of King Arthur in the Buffalo News was a bit harsh, to say the least. The classic medieval tale of the notorious ‘Knights of the Round Table’ opened in theaters today with, to my liking, an immense sum of action and drama.

The movie’s showing brought to life the people and places that were simply envisioned in the time-aged novels. This film is a distant illustration from the "Conan the Barbarian" and "Lord of the Rings" marriage Jeff Simon referred to.

The many gruesome battle scenes show the braveness in fighting an excessive war for freedom and landscape sightings throughout the feature is picturesque on the big screen. The 1 hour, 40 minutes was an ideal length and contained just one mushy love scene making this a “guy movie” must-see.

I rate this film as a 4½ (out of 5) for one of the summer’s hot movie pix at Flix.
