Town records show Desiderio owes back taxes to the Town of Lancaster. As residents, should we not be concerned for such an individual running for the Town Clerk position to very easily have the access to possibly make that family tax burden disappear. Keep in mind we should judge people on the content of the character and those whom they associate themselves with.

From the town's site, it's this year's taxes. There is a new owner as of 4/9/19. He's the one who paid the 2018 taxes.

I can not help but muse that had Ms. Desiderio sat for the required Republican Committee interview, and had endured the strenuous vetting process that Ms. Diane underwent, this "issue" most probably would have been confronted at interview time.
Also, Ms. Desiderio seeks to be the residents" "advocate."
Yikes! A peoples advocate who at least historically, seemingly could not convince her own family to pay its own taxes?
Doesn't that strike you as a rather weak "voice" for the people?

Here's the problem LCSDtaxpayer, Anne Desideriio was recruited by Ralph Mohr and his girlfriend Melissa Heath to run for Town Clerk! Her resume was the perfect fit for them, unqualified, incompetent, delinquent and in arrears in paying family taxes and a Ralph Mohr and Melissa Heath political puppet. What you don't understand LCSDtaxpayer is this, a deal was struck between Anne Desideriio, Ralph Mohr and Melissa Heath that if Anne win she would appoint another unqualified and incompetent individual as Deputy Town Clerk! That being Melissa Heath! Keep in mind Melissa Heath was forced to resign her ENTRY LEVEL PATRONAGE POSITION AT THE ERIE COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS! Ralph Mohr desperately needs to cut any deal he can to find his girlfriend Melissa Heath another patronage Government job! So what about the taxpayers! It's all about his bloodsucking leech patronage ways at taxpayers expense! I urge Lancaster residents to contact the Erie County Republican Board of Elections Commissioner Ralph Mohr at his office at 858-8891 and express your anger and outrage! Let him and his girlfriend know your not falling for his scam! Tell him to have his girlfriend to find a job best suited for her, that being a bartender! More chicanery by 'let's make a deal' Ralph Mohr? I’m shocked – NOT!
Not shocked by the routine promise of patronage jobs to family and friends by candidates seeking office, but their deliverance to individuals who are not qualified for the positions they are appointed or assigned to.
Considering the town board has only once been under Republican control since the 1950’s, Democratic Party cronies have been the big winners in the political patronage scheme. And they have practiced the scheme to the fullest.
I find nothing wrong in rewarding supporters for their efforts if the individual is qualified for the position and/or not replacing incumbent individuals who have been serving the town well.
That said, tell me Breezi whether you have heard like information about the other candidates and/or their political committees. I have heard some doozy rumors about the Democrats intent, but nothing on the Republicans.

It appears to me that Ms. Gaczewski's endorsement was occasioned by a favorable, four-year legislative record.
Hopefully, four years hence, Ms. Desiderio will not have any record of incumbency to evaluate.

Wow, what a battle cry: The first Republican Town Clerk since the Eisenhower administration!
Criminees, Lucien Greco was the first Republican Supervisor since the Truman administration, and I must ask: "So what?"
I am now a so-called "Blank," and this is the type of communication which suggests the contempt that the "Establishment" Republicans have held, and apparently still hold, for its rank-and-file faithful, and is one of the reasons which prompted me to leave the party that was my home for forty-two years.
