Haha, they have the nerve to take credit for Cabelas, they are truly legends in their own minds (to borrow a Dirty Harry phrase) Why don't they point to a tax bill showing our tax rates, how about pointing to a census map showing declining population?

Again, a Frank Max mailer that actually HELPS his opponent!!

This surly tells me that Diane B. will win on Tuesday.

The best way to send these CLOWNS a message is to JUST VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS DIANE B., LYNN DEARMYER and WYNNIE FISHER!

You have 3 votes for Town Council. Just use ONE! That way Diane B. gets all three votes.

    HaHaHa!!

Maybe that will send Job-Killing, Career-Stopping, Tax-Raising, People-Fleeing-South-Causer, "I Love Raising Your Taxes" Dennis Gorski BACK into retirement!!!!!

If you look at last year's school tax bills on a $150,000 home you'll see the Depew school district's taxes are high. There are school districts that are higher but there are many of the higher ranked districts with lower taxes

    Depew school district - $2,478.93
    Williamsville - $2,204.79
    West Seneca - $2,058.67
    Cheektowaga school district - $2,051.55
    Lancaster school district - $1,949.16
    Iroquois school district - $1,940.72
    Frontier school district - $1,789.03
East Aurora school district - $1,765.41
    Clarence school district - $1,710.86

In 2008-09 - Depew's school tax rate was 32.08 in Cheektowaga
In 2009-10 - Depew's school tax rate was 31.85 in Cheektowaga
In 2010-11 - Depew's school tax rate was 32.66 in Cheektowaga
In 2011-12 - Depew's school tax rate was 33.06 in Cheektowaga
In 2012-13 - Depew's school tax rate was 33.32 in Cheektowaga

So the mailer was wrong the Depew school tax rate went down in the 2009-10 school year

I don't know but I do know she was the only "NAY" vote for the teacher's contract

I would say just vote for Diane and Nicole! This would take out two of the three Max candidates!

    Cheektowaga Town Council
That's the kind of adolescent crap that convinces me to vote for her as a vote against the other candidates who supposedly sent that out.

However, it is so outrageous that I almost wonder if Diane didn't send it out herself just to make the the other candidates look like idiots.

Time to follow Abbey Hoffman's advice - just don't vote for the incumbents. Period.

Unfortunately, leaving the third candidate up to everyone else is not the best strategy in my opinion. I think Stan is the least idiotic of the three idiots, and if Dianne and Nicole win, he might feel more comfortable moving away from the old school.

I don't know the guy but I think he is far more qualified than Jim and Tim.

It is blank. But from one of his mailers we know he can point.

i tend to think if you vote for just one or two, you give them an advantage over using all 3 of your votes. after all its the 3 highest votegetters that win

    School Budget Depew

The amount of a school budgets increase or decrease from my knowledge is calculated by Depews Superintendent, with not much, if any input from the School Board Members. It is then presented to the residents for a vote. It is the residents that decide to raise taxes or not.

I am siding with you. How outrageous and also stupid for the threesome to stoop so low. Diane B. is getting my vote. She has run a clean campaign. The flyer did nothing more
than prove that. Why would these guys send out their own mailers and the toxic one and not think people would not notice they bared the same postal permit number. It's time to get rid of the old boys club..I am so tired of listening to them trying to take the credit for everything when all they have done is shown up for photo ops.

I was filled in about Cabella's. For the most part they had next to nothing to do with Cabela coming to our town.
