Biden says America is back – stronger than ever

Despite a November job report increase of only 210,000 jobs added in one of the busiest seasons of the year (less than half of that predicted), where unemployment decreased to 4.2%, Biden presented an upbeat message today that America was back and stronger that when he took office – despite blaming COVID and virus variants for slowing down the recovery.

"Even after accounting for rising prices, the typical American family has more money in their pockets than they did last year," Biden said at the White House.

    Biden declared:

The unemployment rate has fallen to 4.2% - the sharpest decline ever

America is back to work – strong recovery

Higher wages – 10% in transportation and warehousing; 13% for hotel and restaurant workers

American Rescue Plan – Americans on average have more money in their pockets – every month since Biden took office – even after accounting for inflation

The American Rescue Plan has reduced child poverty by 40%

Rate of Black & Hispanic unemployment dipping sharply

Our country only country in the world stronger now than before the pandemic

Biden: "Americans on average have more money in their pockets even after accounting for inflation." Really?

    Lee & Mark,

The RINO's voted on a bill yesterday, do you both know what that bill was, was it the vaccine mandates? Kevin McCarthy voted to pass it, I can't find it anywhere...

I think you are referring to the 80 House Republicans who voted in favor of a some sort of national vaccine registry?

Why the November Jobs Report Is Better Than It Looks

Within the last several weeks Democrats, the liberal media / pundits have stressed the need for Biden and themselves to put out positive messaging on the accomplishments, policies and programs of the Biden administration that are working, will lead to a brighter future – an agenda that has the country heading in the right direction.

The liberal media has embarked on that mission in presenting a different perspective on the November jobs report and the state of the economy. Is the country headed in the right direction? The New York Times and the liberal think so.

The following report appearing in the Buffalo News today was issued by the New York Times – by Neil Irwin

Nearly half — 45% — of people say inflation’s rising prices have caused them financial hardship

Confused as what to believe in the media anymore? Yeah, me too! Biden says most Americans have more money in their pockets since he took office, are earning more than the inflation rate, that his policies are working, and America is heading in the right direction.

Yet the new Gallup poll indicates many Americans think otherwise. Inflation is having a significant adverse impact and it is not transitory. Inflation is the main risk to our economic outlook.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/mark...?ocid=msedgntp

Nearly half — 45% — of people say inflation’s rising prices have caused them financial hardship, according to a new Gallup poll released Thursday.

Many investors and consumers are bracing for high inflation to stick around awhile.

That’s especially bad news for low-income families, who face less budgeting room and more stress with upward creeping costs. And it’s all happening as the holiday season rolls in and winter heating costs loom, Gallup noted.

Low-income survey participants were most likely to feel inflation’s pinch, the poll shows. More than two-thirds (71%) of people making less than $40,000 a year said inflation was causing them financial hardship and 28% said the problem was severe.

By contrast, 47% of households making between $40,000 and $99,000 said inflation was causing them hardship and most of them said the problems were moderate.

Roughly a quarter of people (28%) making above $100,000 said they were facing inflation woes and it was mostly moderate.

The virus is here to stay

Ain’t life grand! Well it is if you are locked into a media source that that tells you the supply chain crisis is near over and inflation will be calming down in the near future; that you agree with AOC that the ‘smash & grab’ theft rate in San Francisco is a myth; that violent crime is on the downfall thanks to cashless bail, defunding the police, and where closing the prisons in ten years is a smart move; wage increases are keeping up with inflation; that Biden’s vaccine / mask mandates are in the best interest of the country’ etc.

If you are reading just the opposite, the following report speaks on Biden’s virus strategy regarding mandates – and why the Senate is considering banning his mandates. Like the flu, the virus is here to stay, mutates, and to be treated like the flu. Scary if true.

    Biden needlessly extends COVID misery

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/new...?ocid=msedgntp

We live in a new era in which there are simply more disease risks than before. COVID-19 increased the average American's chances of dying in a given year.

This is not the Black Death, slaying nations. Rather, it's just another manageable risk to your health and life, like so many others. It's been two years since the first known case, and people are over it. Everyone will have to learn to live with a bit more risk. Many people have adjusted well, but many haven't. Unfortunately, the administration won't let go of the foolish, impossible goal of zero COVID.

People in places such as New York and Washington, D.C., may not be aware of it, but most of the country moved on from mask-wearing months ago. Those who got vaccinated largely stopped wearing masks last spring. Those unwisely refusing vaccination were probably not masking in the first place, and at this point, they certainly aren't. If you don't believe us, just watch Monday Night Football, and look at the packed stands. See all those faces? That's how most people live every day: mask-free, aware of the increased risk, not losing sleep over it.

Fortunately, the coronavirus's effect on human health seems to get weaker as its variants become more virulent. Also fortunately, drug companies have come up with new and cheaper therapies to treat COVID-19 since prevention is not, and never was, a realistic long-term goal.

In the meantime, there is no reason for Biden to play the fool of the security theater. He is understandably coming under pressure to do something, anything, as approval of his handling of the pandemic plunges. Political pressure is a strong but often unhelpful incentive.

    One year ago

    No supply chain crisis
No highest inflation rate in 30 years

Biden policies continue to fail America’s best interests

The media feeds us so much spin and falsehoods it is near impossible to believe any narrative we hear today.

The following reports support what we see happening before our eyes. The country is not headed in the right direction and for AOC to call ‘smash and grab’ a myth, and for the Biden administration and his media cohorts to declare ‘America is back’ is deceitful and absurd.

    Thugs are terrorizing our country

Smash and grab the new norm

    Cover up

‘Biden will not lie like Trump,’ said the mainstream media.

    https://video.foxnews.com/v/6285698442001/

A tight global gas market and existing pipeline constraints put New England in a “precarious position” going into the dead of winter, the region’s grid operator said in a notice yesterday. Nice job, Joe. Last year America was the #1 oil and gas producing country. We were self-sufficient with plenty of cheap gas and home energy. Under your administration pipeline construction was shut down, permits cancelled we and are now begging other countries to supply us with outrageous petroleum prices.

Is the media too tough on Biden?

The media has been approached by the Biden administration to lighten up its negative narrative and focus more on the administration's accomplishments and policies that are in the best interest of the country. The administration claims the media is being tougher on Biden than they were on Trump! Same standards don’t apply?

The people looking to put food on the table may not see the data being presented in the same light as those collecting and manipulating the data and narrative.

    Stimulus and inflation

New research by the JPMorgan Chase Institute, which assesses the bank accounts of 1.6 million families, found that low-income families experienced the “greatest percent gains” during each round of stimulus, yet also exhausted their balances faster. That is in part because those households went into the crisis with the thinnest financial buffers. A crop of high-profile economists in both major political parties contend that measures like the aid package from the spring, while well intentioned and effective in warding off some impoverishment, have caused consumer spending to outstrip supply this year as the economy reopened, worsening inflation and straining supply chains.

Wage gains in low paying jobs, those on fixed incomes and retirees cannot keep up with a 6.2% inflation rate. Biden’s claim that most Americans have more money in their pockets than a year ago is disingenuous.

    Build Back Better Bill

Biden is touting his $2 trillion Build Back Better bill as the panacea to cure all ills. The CBO will be scoring the actual cost of the plan. Experts believe the bill will cost upwards of $4-$5 trillion and will add to the spiraling inflation rate. Biden hopes / touts that the bill will be approved and signed before January,1.

    Crime

Homicides are soaring across the nation. The nation is being terrorized by ‘smash & grab’ mobs and criminals beating citizens on the street. AOC claims ‘smash and grab’ incidents is a myth. While Biden looks the other way his cohorts claim ‘smash and grab; is a myth, progressive DA’s are supporting cashless bail and lighter sentencing putting criminals back on the street to repeat offenses without fear of reprisal. The mainstream media either ignores or lies about the severity of the crime crisis.

The same standard should apply to all. Our leaders don’t see any consequence to their rhetoric or actions – or don’t care as their best interest are held more important than that of the country’s.

Polls are not only showing Biden’s policies are unfavorable with the voters but also that the gap between Biden and Trump has all but disappeared. God save our country should Biden, Trump, or Harris become the ticket nominee. It is difficult enough to assess the lesser of two evils, near impossible when all candidates are toxic as well

    America is not special

69% of the 1,000 students polled in the Harvard Kennedy School's Institute of Politics release of their biannual Harvard youth poll say so.

Joe Biden has launched his virtual Summit for Democracy with a warning that democratic rights and norms are under threat around the world, including in the US. Biden cited studies that found that global freedom has now been in retreat for 15 consecutive years and that more than half of all democracies experienced a decline in the past decade. He acknowledges that one of those countries in democratic decline was his own - since the November 2020 elections where voter rights are under attack.

While millions of emigrees experience much suffering to come to America, the land of freedom and opportunity to forge better lives, progressive / socialist Democrats don’t like America and are attempting to transform it into their Marxist ideology. According to them, we are not exceptional, never were and our country has much to hate about it.

A new poll shows the next generation of Americans hate their own country
    Hegseth - FOX News

The Fox News host attributed youthful anti-Americanism to progressive indoctrination.

    https://www.foxnews.com/media/the-fu...merica-hegseth

PETE HEGSETH: Today, the Harvard Kennedy School's Institute of Politics released their biannual Harvard youth poll. They've been doing the poll for 20 years, asking 18- to 29-year-olds…what they think about the state of our country. Over a thousand young Americans were polled. The margin of error [was] three percent. …31 percent said America is the greatest country in the world. …Here's why…31 percent matters. If you go by the old adage, "The children are the future," then plain as day, this poll shows that the future hates America, or at least they think there's nothing special about America. "It's just…one of many countries."

On the other hand, what is it about the Biden administration that voters are finding fault with that is causing Biden’s poll numbers to decline? Democrats are faced with a sticky problem: The economy is nearing full employment after businesses added only 210,000 jobs in November, labor force participation climbed to its highest level since the pandemic and wages are rising across many industries. Yet most voters are increasingly pessimistic about President Biden's economic stewardship.

Then there’s that inflation thing and an outrageous debt load.

Russian jets intercept NATO planes over Black Sea

"The video released on Friday (Dec 10) by Russia's Ministry of deference reportedly shows several US and French aircraft being escorted by three Russian military aircrafts Su-27.

The ministry said the jets were approaching Russia's border over the Black Sea.

On Thursday Dec 9th, the French army said that two French warplanes and a refueling aircraft were being tracked by two Russian fighter jets in international air space over the Black Sea, the second such interaction this week."

Lee & Mark, what are your thoughts on this action by the US & the Russians? I know that both countries are flexing their muscles, but Biden and his team are dummies. Is the US trying to poke the bear or is the other way around?

As I see things, the Biden-Harris Afghan policy along with its association with the appeasement-prone Obama-Biden administration, are responsible for the current Ukraine crisis, IMHO.

With that said, my thoughts on the Ukraine shortstuff are rather complex, but thumbnail, I believe that the most strategic part of the Ukraine is its Crimean Peninsula and port of Sevastopol, and those already have been lost, and were lost during the Obama-Biden administration.

In that connection, any true strategic value of the Ukraine is already gone, just my opinion of course.

Historically, Ukraine has been part of Russia since the Czarist regimes, so a loss of the Ukraine, in my opinion, would not significantly alter the pre-1991 geopolitical situation.

To be sure, the wheat and corn fields of the Ukraine are important, but its occupation by Russia is of no urgent consequence to the West, especially in light of the former Communist Bloc's entry into NATO, which is a very strong deterrent to further Russian aggression.

In fact, the Western allies are in a much stronger position than they were during the 1940-1991 time period, and therefore, I strongly believe that to sacrifice American lives or extensive American treasure, may only serve to diminish the American readiness so necessary to confront the real, uber-threat, posed by Communist China.

Another endless, perhaps potentially catastrophic nuclear, war just to please the Globalists and their industrial/business interests?

    NO!

It’s a Biden boom and nobody has noticed

“The economy is racing ahead. It's doing incredibly well. We've never had this kind of growth in 60 years," Biden declares “Most people have more money in their pocket this year than a year ago. Inflation is at its peak and will be near normal sometime next year, The economy is stronger than ever. My Build Back Better Bill will only strengthen it more, America is back!”

Biden pressured the media to stop being so negative and to focus on getting his message out. His media lackeys got the memo and are reporting Biden’s policies are working, America is headed in the right direction.

Yet Biden’s poll numbers do not reflect the American voter is buying the messaging – regarding the economy, the handling of the virus, inflation, deficit…

Inflation, now at 6.8%, the highest in 40 years, is no longer considered transitory or predicted to come in below 4% anytime soon. Inflation is hot because we're spending too much money. In fact, it has been calculated that over the past year the federal government has spent $5.4 trillion, plus $1.2 trillion on infrastructure. That's $6.6 trillion.

CBO scoring shows that Biden’s Build Back Better bill will actually cost $4.9 trillion dollars over 10 years, increase deficits by $3 trillion, and increase interest on the debt by $266 billion. That actually brings the topline costs to $5.1 trillion. In other words, the CBO just blew up the Biden budget fiction that it would only cost around $2 trillion and only increase deficits by $365 billion. Or that it is fully paid for.

Poll after poll shows that inflation is public enemy number one. But massive federal spending is a close second. In fact, the two are inseparable and real wages have fallen because of inflation.

Is the public getting sick of left-wing, socialist policies?
