Just my opinion, the Covid-19 pandemic spread from the Wuhan Lab may have occurred for reasons other than a "mistake," and the creation of the virus may have been resultant from more than a natural mutation process.
The plot thicken perhaps thickens, methinks.

US monitoring intelligence that North Korean leader is in grave danger after surgery
By Jim Sciutto and Joshua Berlinger, CNN
Updated 11:17 PM ET, Mon April 20, 2020
(CNN)The US is monitoring intelligence that North Korea's leader, Kim Jong Un, is in grave danger after a surgery, according to a US official with direct knowledge.
Kim recently missed the celebration of his grandfather's birthday on April 15, which raised speculation about his well-being. He had been seen four days before that at a government meeting.
Another US official told CNN Monday that the concerns about Kim's health are credible but the severity is hard to assess.
Daily NK, an online newspaper based in South Korea that focuses on North Korea, reports that Kim reportedly received a cardiovascular system procedure on April 12.
Kim received the cardiovascular system procedure because of "excessive smoking, obesity, and overwork," according to the news site, and is now receiving treatment in a villa in Hyangsan County following his procedure.
After assessing that Kim's condition had improved, most of the medical team treating him returned to Pyongyang on April 19 and only part of them remained to oversee his recovery situation, according to the news site. CNN is unable to independently confirm the report.
The National Security Council and Office of the Director of National Intelligence declined to comment when reached by CNN on Monday. CNN has also reached out to the CIA and the State Department for comment and sought comment from the South Koreans.
Gathering intelligence out of North Korea is notoriously difficult -- one of the most challenging targets for US intelligence.
North Korea tightly controls any information surrounding its leader, who is treated almost like a deity within the country. His absences from official state media often spark speculation and rumors about his health. North Korea has no free press and is often a black hole when it comes to the country's leadership. Analysts are heavily reliant on scanning state media dispatches and watching propaganda videos for any semblance of a clue.
Kim last appeared in North Korean state media on April 11. April 15 -- North Korea's most important holiday, the anniversary of the birth of the country's founding father, Kim Il Sung -- came and went without any official mention of Kim Jong Un's movements.
Experts are unsure of what to make of Kim's absence from any festivities celebrating his grandfather. When North Korean leaders have not shown up to these important celebrations in the past, it has portended major developments. But it has also turned out to be nothing.
"There have been a number of recent rumors about Kim's health (smoking, heart, and brain). If Kim is hospitalized, it would explain why he wasn't present on the important April 15th celebrations," said Bruce Klingner, a senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation and former CIA deputy division chief for North Korea. "But, over the years, there have been a number of false health rumors about Kim Jong-un or his father. We'll have to wait and see."
Kim Jong Il's absence from a parade celebrating North Korea's 60th anniversary in 2008 was followed by rumblings that he was in poor health. It was later revealed he had a stroke, after which his health continued to decline until his death in 2011.
Kim Jong Un disappeared from the public eye for more than a month in 2014, which also prompted speculation about his health. He returned sporting a cane, and days later South Korean intelligence said that he had a cyst removed from his ankle.
"It's easy to be wrong on this one," said John Delury, a professor of international relations at Yonsei University in Seoul.
This story is breaking and will be updated.
CNN's Zachary Cohen, Betsy Klein, Alex Marquardt and Vivian Salama contributed to this story.

LIDA Member Rinow to Member Ruda: You were a sitting Trustee on the Board. Did you help support Mr. Sweeney getting a seat on the CDC Board?"
In Iowa, the Iowa National Guard has matured from substantially federalized under Title 32 to fully federalized under Title 10, in order to maintain safety standards in meat processing plants.
Why would the President deploy the now regular military to meat packing facilities, unless food is to be considered a valued national asset, and that there are present real fears that food shortages may arise as the result of Covid-19 contamination?

There is much to not like about Trump, but is this the new woke / tolerant left that wants my vote? This is the direction Biden is now taking. War crimes rhetoric
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=spartandhp
Trump has been criticized by Democrats for not taking the threat of the virus more seriously when it first showed up in the U.S., for being slow to react and for not getting more testing kits and personal protective equipment to states.
A member of the far-left "Squad" of freshmen congresswomen slammed President Trump’s coronavirus response this week, alleging it was “akin to war crimes.”
War crimes are defined as "grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions" and include torture, willful killing and taking hostages, among others.
Times have sure changed when we can recklessly charge our president as a 'war criminal' because we simply don't like him. Sad!
Speaking of applications which some may compare to crimes...

By Danielle Wallace | Fox News
New York state issued a blanket do-not-resuscitate directive last week instructing first-responders not to try to revive patients without a pulse amid increased call volumes and lack of resources during the coronavirus public health crisis, according to a report.
Paramedics were previously told to attempt to resuscitate a patient found in cardiac arrest for up to 20 minutes, the New York Post reported.
The new order is “necessary during the COVID-19 response to protect the health and safety of EMS providers by limiting their exposure, conserve resources, and ensure optimal use of equipment to save the greatest number of lives,’’ according to a memo issued last week by the state Department of Health.
The memo insisted similar guidelines have been issued “in many areas of the U.S. as well as other locations throughout the world.”
“These changes are based on standards widely agreed upon by the physician leaders of EMS Regional Medical Control Systems across NYS and the Medical Standards Committee of the State Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council,” a health department spokesperson said in a statement.
This comes after the Regional Emergency Medical Services Council of New York, which oversees the city’s ambulance service, instructed paramedics last month not to bring patients whose hearts could not be restarted at the scene into hospitals already overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients. That directive meant first responders could still try to revive patients at the scene for up to 20 minutes.
“They’re not giving people a second chance to live anymore,’’ Oren Barzilay, the president of Local 2507, Uniformed EMT’s, Paramedics & Fire Inspectors Union, told the Post. “Our job is to bring patients back to life. This guideline takes that away from us.”
Only about three or four out of every 100 patients found at the scene without a pulse can be revived at hospitals through CPR, or other aggressive measures, such as drugs or hospitalization, an unidentified veteran FDNY paramedic told the newspaper.
New York state recorded at least 258,589 confirmed coronavirus cases, with at least 19,118 deaths by Wednesday morning, according to Johns Hopkins University.
As hospitals across the country face shortages of personal protective equipment due to surges of coronavirus patients, health care professionals were reportedly privately discussing the option of issues a blanket do-not-resuscitate order for infected patients, the Washington Post reported last month.
If hospitalized patients infected with the virus begin to go into cardiac arrest, doctors and nurses must first dress in full personal protective equipment before beginning CPR, meaning some patients might die in the interim. Some doctors issue do-not-resuscitate orders for COVID-19 patients on a case to case basis without families signing off but blanket measures for all patients infected with the virus were considered too draconian by ethics professionals in the medical community.
Fox News' Brie Stimson contributed to this report.
My Opinion:
Call me "Clueless," but if the Covid-19 numbers were headed "in the right direction" last week, would it not be reasonable to assume that resuscitation restrictions would either remain the same, or perhaps be eased?
"Trust me, I know best" big government in all of its dehumanizing Mengeleian splendor on display.
Oh well, didn't someone once suggest that when attending to the medical needs of us old codgers, a pill for symptomatic pain may be the preferable medical intervention?

Governor Cuomo got visibly irritated by a reporter today when that individual carried on an extended interview on reopening the economy and protestors views on the subject,
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday that protesters calling for the state to reopen the economy so they can go back to work could “get a job as an essential worker.”
Unlike the mainstream liberal media posting every heated exchange between their reporters and Trump, the only media posting I read about the altercation was published by FOX.
I blame neither Cuomo nor Trump for their outbursts. One can take only so much incessant, confrontational questioning from today’s media bent with political / divisive agendas, without retaliation.
This is a briefing on a national crisis and they act like petulant *******s!
Am I missing something here?
A great deal has been spoken and written about President Trump's purported remarks that people should somehow ingest bleach as a possible curative to Covid-19.
From what I saw and heard, the President was asking a question of medical professionals, with the specific caveat "Maybe you can, maybe you can't; I'm not a doctor," which merely queried the possibility of properly tailoring disinfectants for remedial use in humans.
Whether question had been asked sincerely, sarcastically or in irony, is of no true relevance; it was a question and not a pronounced contention, command or assertion.
I guess that the Left and the Main Stream Media character assassins will try to hang their hat on anything.
Just my two cents.

Blasey Ford had no vivid recollection or contemporaneous records to support her allegations against Bret Kavanaugh.
Furthermore, no one could offer any contemporaneous recollection of Ford informing it of any such incident.
Moreover, Ford made no effort to file a complaint with the local police in Alexandria, Virginia.
Tara Reade, I understand, has filed such a charge against Joe Biden with Washington, D.C. authorties, did tell family and friends, and her mom suggested such an incident in a question to a guest of national big mouth Larry King in 1993.
Remember what Senator Maise Hirono said: "All women need to be believed?"
Here is Tara Reade's contemporaneous proof, so what say you Senator Hirono?

Yea!
Just the facts please!
FYI: A comment from a respiratory therapist...
"I watched the clip about the "disinfectant that Trump talking about". People need to listen closely....and before I say this, I will tell you that I am not registered to vote and I don't vote. I am neutral.
He is basically brain storming for an idea to help the lungs. He stated that the disinfectant kills the virus in one minute, so he proposed the question can we inject disinfectant (not Lysol), he used the word "disinfectant" ...in the lungs, but that is for the doctors to figure out.
Now a lay person like Trump will say disinfectant and a medical person would say "medicine".
Medicine dumped into the lungs happens all the time!
I personally have dumped respiratory medicine down an Endotracheal tube directly into the lungs. When babies are born prematurely, guess what? Yes we "inject" the lungs with a medicine called surfactant that helps keep the alveoli open to oxygenate the lungs.
Antibiotics are sometimes injected into infected parts of lungs through a chest tube. So what I want the general public to know, is that we do "inject" medicine into peoples lungs, that yes act like a disinfectant (antibiotics), so why is everyone in uproar over this?"

AGREE!
Trump knows that the Main Stream Media hates his guts, and that he needs to communicate directly with the nation. If he does not, that media will have an un-rebutted jubilee.
But, like with Twitter, he is starting to overplay his hand, and the necessary communication(s) aspect of his daily briefings, the true news and the facts, are being twisted, marginalized and to the viewing public, almost relegated to non-stories. The verbal combat is becoming a daily 15-Round boxing match, and fact-based headlines now seem to have the significance of a preliminary event.
I really wish his advisors would convey to him advice (or perhaps more accurately Trump needs to heed the advice), suggesting that the more questions he takes, the more destructive opportunities he gives to the Main Stream Media.
What's the saying, "Two Stupids Don't Make A Smart?"

Trump is nowhere near as dumb as the liberal mainstream media portray him. Unfortunately, they bait him with ridiculous questions and he just cannot help giving them unsubstantiated, snarky replies and reason for them to slant his response.
He embarrasses his own supporters and if he does not stop the hostile exchanges with the media, he may jeopardize their continued support – even though the alternative is not a good option. Biden looked strong as the party centrist candidate and held appeal to Independents and even some Republicans and Conservatives. That appeal is waning the more Biden moves to the left. The Dems proved they did not want a Marist at the wheel.
The Dems must know that they have a weak candidate in Biden when the big focus is on who would best serve the party as VP to bring in votes - and as president in case Biden cannot serve out the term. The Dems seem more interested in choosing a VP candidate based on gender and race than on qualifications.
Be careful what you wish for, Trump is waiting, and Uncle Joe has skeletons in his closet as well. As for Pence, he has all the qualities Trump lacks regarding humility, charisma and the ability to articulate and communicate professionally - as is befitting a president.
