Now that Erie County Executive Chris Collins has laid down the gauntlet -saying county union benefits have to better reflect the reality of the world we live in, can any agreement be reached?

Collins said in his State of the County address that future contracts must be sustainable, and that "we need a blank sheet of paper approach" starting with the current benefit package.

"Are you prepared to come forward in negotiations with a blank sheet of paper," Two-On-Your-Side's Lynne Dixon asked AFSCME Local 1085 head John Orlando.

"The answer to that question is no," said Orlando. "And the other part of it is when I do negotiate I don't negotiate in the media. And he should take a little bit of advice. He shouldn't do it either."
