that's me after I drove all the way down to the County Bureau of Forestry only to see a huge sign saying that the park was officially CLOSED
WTF?
Isn't this why we pay county taxes?
Does anybody know what is going on with this particular park?
On a nice note, we just went up the road to Sprague Brook (another county park and a really nice one at that) and had a nice bike ride on the trails, so all ended well.
But why is the forestry park closed, and how does one "close" a forest anyway?
What needs to happen to a few hundred acres of trees to make it "open" to the public?
I don't get it.....
