if the college goes 100% online the student might as well do university of phoenix
online is ok to a point, but for some stuff there needs to be hands on in person
So there have been multiple reports of students looking for tuition refunds for this semester and out of touch progressive educrats responding with a 'no' but here is some R.E.M. for you.
But now schools are talking about the fall semester. Many Universities are in a panic over the possible lack of a college football season, which would break not only college athletics but also many colleges. But that is not even the worst of it. Some schools, like those in the People's Republic of California, are talking about distance learning...again...for next fall. If that happens, I would expect most every college student who is really smart enough to be a college student to unenroll from college until traditional learning is reestablished. Only a complete moron would continue to spend $10,000 to $60,000 on tuition for online learning that is a clearly inferior product (not saying the in-person was great but at least it's better)...
So what happens to all of the liberal academics and school administrators when the party ends? Only a small % of schools will be able to survive.

Vote for freedom, not political parties.
Politicians need to cut spending
Ya, STEM students are going to need lab time. It's not going to be pretty.
It's going to be really hard to justify paying the 'I solve your feelings, unless your a white male, diversity officer' when there is nobody on campus. Especially when the football team isn't playing to cover the bills.

The solution? Very simple. Crank up taxes and just pay all those tenured faculty to do nothing. Hell, half of them didn’t do much of anything before corona. A 9 hour work week and a 30 week year. Maybe all those “critlit” and art history profs can go back for retraining. There’s always barber school.
