PACWNY IN DISCUSSIONS WITH TOWN OF CHEEKTOWAGA REGARDING FESTIVAL
Polish American Congress, Western New York Division has engaged in preliminary discussions with Cheektowaga Town Supervisor Diane Benczkowski regarding transitioning operations of the Polish-American Arts Festival from the Town of Cheektowaga to the Congress.

New York Division President, James L. Ławicki II commented, "The PAC, at the request of the Town of Cheektowaga, has engaged in a positive dialogue with town leaders to assess the feasibility and viability of taking over the Festival.
As the Festival is a legacy event and one that represents the entire Polish American Community and Polish culture, it's important that it be preserved, expanded, and improved.
We have assembled a team of highly experienced individuals to engage in due diligence with the Town of Cheektowaga to assess the possibility of assuming the event. This is a very large undertaking that requires proper and careful evaluation."
