In 2015, when Congress was debating the agreement struck between Obama and Iran that basically secured Iran as a supporter and exporter of Islamic terror, the international mouthpiece of Democratic Totalitarianism, the New York Times, ran a series that for lack of a better title, should have been called the Congress Jew Tracker. It was a tracker of the votes of Jewish members of Congress who voted against the Iran deal and included the number of Jewish voters in their districts, with yellow high lighting to identify those with a percentage of Jewish voters that exceeded a predetermined threshold. Needless to say, the Congress Jew Tracker did not include any mention of Jewish members who voted for the deal nor was there a similar tracker following any other ethnic group. One can trace the direct line from this episode directly to the comments of Ilan Omar. Both are typical examples of the the “dual loyalty” argument, that the “international Jew” can’t be trusted to loyally support his country of residence. One can trace the direct line backward in history to Democratic President and KKK member Harry Truman. Early in his career, Truman was caught in a dilemma because he wanted to run for state-wide office but in Missouri this was almost impossible without the support of the Pendergast machine in Kansas City. But the Pendergasts were Catholic and wanted no part of KKK members. Truman “resigned” from the Klan, claiming surprise at how well those “Catholic boys” fought who served under him in WW I. As everyone knows Catholics can’t be trusted to support their country and want to install the Pope as their king. Same “dual loyalty” argument repackaged again and again to support totalitarians.
