Whenever I'm having a bad day, I truly laugh at it, and smile. Because, I know that tomorrow will be better.
Seriously... I am in a funk.....what is it that motivates you, gets you out of bed and puts a smile on your face?

It's probably psysiological. Start exercising. Depression is a choice and the wrong one at that. You need to put things in perspective and realize how easy you have it first.Originally Posted by Nicolas II

Yes, all good advice here. My grandmother used to say, "This too shall pass..." She was right. Hang in there, or try weed.Originally Posted by Nicolas II

Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow till there’s none

I just stick out my chin and grin and say...Oh!
The sun'l1 come out tomorrow,
So you got to hang on till tomorrow, came what may!
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow
You’re always a day away...

When you consider that you live in the freest, most prosperous country in the world and at the time in all of human history with the most opportunity, how could you possibly be in a funk!
Crank up some Grand Funk RR really loud and it'll blast it out of you.

Not bad advice, really. But it could end up leaving you feeling even more depressed in the long run. What motivates me to get up every morning is all my animals (I've got three big dogs and four cats). Nothing like a 140 pound dog jumpin' on the bed to get you up and moving But seriously, I started taking in strays after my divorce, and through all the toughest times, they were there. They never judge me or tell me how to act or what to do. Their love is unconditional.Originally Posted by Nicolas II
