Bill in NY would ban anonymous political ads on FacebookOctober 03, 2017 02:09 PM
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - New York state would require all political ads on social media platforms such as Facebook to contain the name of the individual or group that paid for it under newly proposed legislation.
Democratic state Sen. Todd Kaminsky announced his idea Tuesday, a day after Facebook handed over thousands of political ads to congressional committees investigating possible Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
Kaminsky, of Long Island, says requiring more information about the groups paying for ads would discourage false and misleading statements while giving citizens more information about those trying to influence their vote.

Would this mean the people behind the vote no on the state constitution would have to say who they are?
How about a bill that bans political telemarketing calls come election time?

They should also have a line that identifies the "Ad agency" - "consulting firm" - on each ad exposing who wrote/produced it.
Like Hillary who owns two "Online Digital Research and ad companies" - they posted thousand and thousand of "news style ads, comments on all forms of social media" like Facebook, snap chat, Reddit, open public forums, news website comment sections, google and many more.
Identify who paid for ads and who actually posted them if done by a business, agency or group. Not exactly sure of how to word it !
Hillary spent over $200Million dollars for work/ads/postings by two companies she owns.(Expenditures noted in her Clinton Victory Fund Campaign disclosures) - she also employed and paid other "Online agencies" - as well as hundreds of volunteer posters working with her campaign and the DNC.
#Dems play musical chairs + patronage and nepotism = entitlement !
