How about the multiple flyers emphasizing the “Republican Primary” and being “paid for by the NYS Committee of the Independence Party”. Who is she truly associated with? My understanding it is not the Republican Party. Sounds like Washington type corruption in our own backyard!
Who are her friends and political backers?
To whom and what jobs are promised if she is elected?
At this point in time why does it matter which political party pays for what? They can all cross endorse anyways.

I did not think that Ann Desiderio had the Independence Party Line. My bad???
LIDA Member Rinow to Member Ruda: You were a sitting Trustee on the Board. Did you help support Mr. Sweeney getting a seat on the CDC Board?"
Political parties can cross endorse in the primaries. What does that have to do with a political party putting out election campaign literature for a candidate it did not endorse in the primary (Lancaster Town Clerk) and where no candidate is endorsed for the position by said party.
Diane Terranova was endorsed by the Independence Party for the Town Clerk position. Because of some so-called sloppy paperwork handed in by the party, Terranova was denied ballot entry.
Why then would the Independence Party allow its name to be on a mailer supporting a candidate it did not endorse, a candidate that did not challenge for the position, to be on a campaign mailer is enigmatic - even if Desiderio's committee paid for the ad as suggested by Gorga?
Ah, politics, so much BS so little time.
As you can see, the Desiderio campaign has doled out $2,610. so far to the Independence party.
In fact, the only Transfers out from the campaign went to the Independence party.

Desiderio's campaign finance info can be found on the NYS campaign finance site.
I have been unable to locate that info on the county site. Wonder why?
EDIT:
I just found it under "Anne for Clerk"

Separate from Diane's case, does it not seem that "paper work" is the purported reason for a number of "curious" decisions this election cycle?
Based strictly on the mailer which I posted, does it not appear to the Independence Party voter that the party is in someway supporting Desiderio?
With Lynne Dixon, an Independent, on the November ballot, perhaps a "suggested" endorsement of a non-endorsed candidate could be beneficial?
I think Trump calls this type of tactic "Fake News."

Ms. Desiderio is NOT the Independence Party candidate, so why is the Independence Party lending its name to this candidate, and why is it representing that it is paying for and authorizing the mailer?
Curious that Ms. Desiderio would say that she "RAN" for public office when the election is three weeks away, and did so "without the support of party bosses."

Desiderio announces bid for Lancaster town clerk
April 17, 2019
Registered Democrat Diane Terranova has also filed petitions to run on the Republican line after the incumbent clerk’s party refused to endorse her re-election campaign, according to a release sent by Ralph Mohr, Desiderio’s campaign manager. Earlier this year, the Lancaster Democrat organization endorsed Cynthia Maciejewski for the clerk position. Terranova will now face life-long Republican Desiderio in the Republican primary to be held June 25.

Ah, the mailers and flyers are coming, a time when the BS hits the road.
Ms. Desiderio’s claim of independence from party bosses is a hoot considering her campaign manager and ‘mentor’ is none other than a political operative and BOE Commissioner.
Ms. Desiderio is paying for her own mailers and getting them published under the Independence Party name because of a relationship between two party operatives.
Ms. Terranova received the Independence Party (IP) endorsement, lost it because of some supposed ‘sloppy’ paperwork submitted by the Independence Party and now the IP is complicit in allowing its identity to be put on a mailer of a candidate that is not on the IP election ballot.
At least Ms. Desiderio and her mentor are no longer using the ‘garbage tax’ as a disingenuous / asinine talking point. Then again, what's left?
Again, how could someone who manages a website that lets members call for the death of people in the opposition by hanging, smear a female presidential candidate with descriptions of revolting sexual acts, break rule upon rule upon rule of the Facebook code of conduct - yup, how could someone like that possibly come on here and make waves about something as leaving something off a political campaign mailer?????
Remember, Mark? Make NY Red?
The more I hear of Mohr of late, the more I pine for those days of him ruling the GOP in Lancaster. He sure was much more wholesome than the likes of what the GOP has today, highlighted by the awkwardness we see here in the traditional Republican general election effort. I just love it that Sojka lost the Conservative line for Dawn G. because he was too distracted in this race. But then again, shame on Dawn for not hustling it in the primary (more evidence that Ron. R. has the energy necessary), or did she get cocky and slack off? That line should have been easy for her to keep. Sure set a tone for the general in that Ron R. looks pretty solid, and the clerk's race again a distraction but also having all sorts of wild cards all along.
GOP needs to quiz Sojka hard in 2020 over all this!
Any BS coming from these pols that Sojka is a new kind of political leader. Like one who would be open to any "wonderous" cross over candidate for the good of the community is, well as the Republican President of the United States would say, "is a made up story." Pure fiction because we all know Greg from right here on SPEAKUP WNY.
LOL
P.S.: Hey, Mark, by your own definition of use of these shaded quote boxes, wouldn't you be guilty of forging the statement you put in there?
