No "coffee keyboard" for Brandon. His keyboard only gets sticky when he does a Google search on himself.

Sure, do a parents' forum. I'd love to go off on some "stay at home moms versus working moms" kvetching stuff. I had some mom go off on me this week for working-- and I only work part time... well, three part time jobs. But this broad gave me the "What? Doesn't YOUR HUSBAND MAKE ENOUGH MONEY?" crap. Whaaaaat? Puh-leez. Hello?
I'm just here to make people laugh. And to confuse people. Oh, and to irritate people.

That's just as bad as people putting me down for being a stay at home mom. People need to realize that other people do what's best for their family.
I'm guessing you wouldn't be working these jobs if it wasn't the best thing for your family.

for those moms that work, I say kids smile at night too ... dont sweat it

for those that stay home - good for you, if you like it.

I would never want to be home 24/7 with my kids, its not in their best interest .... nor mine

I also go away with out them - omg the horror - Im going on a cruise with a friend in a few weeks, sure Ill miss them, but I wont miss the constant demands they put on me - once in a while, sanity has to be regained!!!!!

what works for one family doesnt work for another .... and both actually are showing a great example to their kids in different ways ........

Id like someone to flame me for working - as a working mother i do more for my kids school in volunteering time than the majority of the moms who stay home .... I know that, because Ive been a room mom proabably 10-15 times, so I actually know what I am talking about ....... this one time

I honestly plan on going back to work or school when the youngest is in school. Most likely school because a women needs to be educated to get a job it seems. I am too little to do construction.
I love staying home with my kids, but it does get very tiresome. Also i have taken a trip without the kids, it's good for parents and kids to get separate time from each other.

Many women my age are trying to bring back that 50's housewife mojo thing. These women i swear go by the 1959 good housekeeping guide of how to be a good wife. I believe in keeping a clean house (which is actually easier to do when you work because nobody is home all day), healthy dinners, but i will be damned if i'm going to be cleaning in a dress with an apron on. I don't have my hair and makeup done when my husband gets home. I don't keep the house quiet when he comes home (i hate silence). That 50's housewife thing is sooo ridiculous.
