Sitting in the audience watching the conversation unfold was just too good to be real. Bucki requests the Town Attorney to provide his opinion on utilizing the Comptrollers expertise concerning the budget. The Attorney goes to great lengths to explain that this is not only a good idea, but the absolute correct thing to do. He repeats it and indicates the resolution is exactly what should be done.
Bucki ignores this and votes against the resolution anyways.
WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS SHE THINKING!
Even Mohan said this was never done before, so it shouldn't be done now.
Schratz proving once again that instead of brains, she has rocks, says this is a good idea, but maybe we could do it next year (or something like that).
Weinstein, of course, says nothing of importance; becasue he is nothing of importance.
Marlett counters that that is the very reason to do it. Input, objective opinions, transperancy. All the things Mohan, Schratz, and Bucki ALWAYS say need to be done. Manna and Ward voted for the resolution...these 3 actually get it.
The resolution fails...apparently Mohan, Schratz, Weinstein, and BUCKI don't want anything to do with truth, facts, knowledge, or transperancy. I think we should get rid of them all.
