Nov 01, 2006 - A city of Buffalo library is back in business today, one year after the Erie County budget crisis forced it to close.
This morning, a special celebration was held to mark the opening of the new Westminster Library, formerly the City's Kensington library. The facility was taken over by the Westminster Community Charter school, and will serve 519 students and their parents. It's been extensively remodeled, containing a new media center with 30 computers, a listening center for audio books and a section especially for parents.

People who wonder if the glass is half empty or full miss the point. The glass is refillable.
A charter school did this?
Awesome.
