Not a knee-jerk reaction on my part, but IMHO, many of the earmarks of revolution and a coup are eerily present here Lee.
As I observed when this thread began, Trump is the closest America has come to electing a third party candidate. His selection appears to have been a reaction to the corrupt status quo present in both political parties and a reflection of the anger of those who despise the new age social hogwash.
Although not a precise example, and I know full well that my comments certainly will lend themselves to push-back, the above-referred reaction and reflection is somewhat analogous to the political circumstanstance that was present in pre-Soviet Russia. Disenchant of over the Russian involvement in World War One, the perceived abuse of the working and peasant classes, as well as the corruption of the Romanovs, led to a political "change" convulsion in Russia, which demanded the overthrow of the monarchy.
HRC's defeat perhaps can be compared with the overthrow of the Czar; Trump's election may possibly be compared to the installation of the Provisional government under Kerensky and now, the 2019 Socialist Democrat candidates suggesting the role of the lurking Lenin, IMHO.
Like Kerensky, Trump's governance appears to have angered both the Left and the Right. As in 1917, and the American Socialists/Communists of 2017-2019 are exploiting the dissatisfaction and confusion, but instead of offering the 1917 "peace, land, and bread," they offer all sorts of "FREE STUFF."
BTW, Lenin in 1917, also pledged to the Russian "workers and exploited people" his commitment to their right to possess fire arms; in 1918 he ordered the population to surrender those firearms.
I guess what I am suggesting Lee is that America is on the brink of a Socialist/Communist/ revolutionary coup.
Ah, the sun appears to be rising on the "New World Order."
