The real threat to America’s democracy and free speech?

President Biden also wrote a letter to the American people just two days before his Farewell Adress which served as a preview of the farewell address, arguing his case, and falling back on many of the half-truths and distortions that have become embedded in his revisionism. The president often describes the country as teetering on the brink of collapse when he took office. It is not true.

He writes that the U.S. was in the grip of "the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression"; that isn’t even close. The economy was growing at over 6%, jobs were roaring back and inflation was 1.4%. Moreover, consumer confidence, despite the COVID pandemic, stood at 79%, a figure rarely reached over the past four years. Those are the facts. There is no point in pushing back against the president’s economic mythology; people know they are not better off than they were when Biden took office.

As the end of his regime draws near, Joe Biden is using his final days to create an intentional mess. This isn’t about sabotaging Donald Trump, though; it’s also about flipping the bird to his supporters — people who want to see mass deportations, biological males kept out of women’s spaces, and an end to the gross spending that has left the country in economic shambles. He wants to stop President Trump from doing everything that his supporters voted for.

But does Joe Biden have the mental acuity to orchestrate this kind of political sabotage or is it “whoever controls Joe Biden” that’s doing it. To thwart Trump efforts, Biden is trying to cement the stay-at-home allowance for the federal workforce -to ensure that the administrative state can never be abolished. He wants “his swamp creatures, his administrative state” tucked away in their little holes, in home, where no one can see what they're doing.

The Oval Office speech followed a foreign policy address earlier this week, in which Biden claimed that his administration is leaving the Trump White House "with a very strong hand to play. And we're leaving an America with more friends and stronger alliances, whose adversaries are weaker and under pressure." Despite the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, the stalling of the extraordinary Abraham Accords, Beijing’s worrisome alliances with Russia and North Korea, and the fall of left-wing sympatico governments across Europe, Biden claims that "America…is leading, uniting countries, setting the agenda, bringing others together behind our plans and visions."

Biden is using his remaining time in office to give the country what it rejected.

Today, it is code for having the left inflict upon us all the radical stuff that voters just rejected now that the election is over and there can’t be any accountability.
That might mean taking huge swaths of land out of potential energy production, allowing federal workers to stay home for the next five years or pardoning Hunter Biden. In each one, one must wonder how any of that actually contributes to any sort of “legacy” that Biden would want.

The country isn’t buying it; the more lipstick Biden smears on his pig of a presidency, the lower his approval ratings fall – now at 36%.

Biden’s Oval Office farewell address on Wednesday night concluded his presidency as he started it, spouting meaningless platitudes about the character of our nation and portraying himself as the Great Defender of Democracy.

Clearly annoyed that Americans and Israeli news services are crediting President-elect Donald Trump and his Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff with the breakthrough, Biden reached for the win, citing his team’s 8 months of non-stop negotiations. Since those efforts had gone nowhere, most think Hamas responded instead to Trump’s credible threat that there would be "Hell to pay" if the hostages were not freed by Inauguration Day.

Biden boasted of some of his administration’s accomplishments, including dubious claims of "creating" 17 million jobs (a large portion of which were simply recovering the jobs lost to the COVID shutdown) and driving violent crime to a 50-year low (which has been debunked.)

President Biden once again refers to ‘listening to the will of the people.” Yet he and his brand refuses to accept the people rejected his policies and administration. Joe and his brigade talk about a vindictive Trump, about a peaceful transition and not acting vindictive like the ‘hateful’ Trump yet obstruct to sabotage the incoming Trump administration by fiat and/or Executive Order – working from home, extension of illegal immigrant Temporary Protection Status, etc. Hypocrites!

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was tasked with being one of the biggest voices going into conservative spaces like Fox News to sell the administration's accomplishments. He freely acknowledges it did nothing to improve Biden's polling, which was dismal for most of his presidency, "Precisely because they’re unambiguously good news, they don’t get as much attention as the controversy,” says Pete.

This is a political party that has lost its hold on the White House and its Senate majority and has been reduced to what amounts to catcalling from the sidelines as the second Trump administration forms, trying to sabotage the cabinet-confirmation process with personal attacks, media-smear campaigns, and belligerence.

Senate Democrats have made it clear that they're going to bring this brand of "Resistance 2025" to Trump's nominees. But they're failing to derail them.

Biden's last-minute constitutional change slammed by legal experts: 'Cynical and irrelevant.'

Biden on Friday released a statement saying the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) should be considered ratified and a new addition to the U.S. Constitution.

"It is long past time to recognize the will of the American people. In keeping with my oath and duty to the Constitution and country, I affirm what I believe and what three-fourths of the states have ratified: the 28th Amendment is the law of the land, guaranteeing all Americans equal rights and protections under the law regardless of their sex," he said.

"President Biden seems intent on moving his administration from the odious to the absurd," Jonathan Turley,

The national archivist is responsible for making constitutional amendments official, not Joe Biden.. The archivist had previously declined to certify the amendment, citing a 2020 opinion from the Office of Legal Counsel of the DOJ (OLC) that "affirmed that the ratification deadline established by Congress for the ERA is valid and enforceable."

"President Biden seems intent on moving his administration from the odious to the absurd," Jonathan Turley, Fox News contributor and the Shapiro Professor of Public Interest Law at George Washington University, told Fox News Digital. "This was an embarrassingly pandering moment to the most extreme elements in his party. It is a position based on a long-rejected and frankly ridiculous foundation."

"More importantly, the president has no constitutional role in the amendment process, so his view carries no weight."

"This is just pandering," said former Assistant U.S. attorney and Fox News contributor Andrew McCarthy. "It will have no lasting significance." McCarthy noted that the ERA "was not ratified by the states within the statutorily allotted timeframe."

"Nope, sorry, you can't just 'declare' the 28th Amendment law, any more than I can declare you dead. That requires a coroner. And this requires a constitutional process," responded Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire.

As former President Obama allegedly once said: “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f*** things up.” Indeed. Joe is capable of anything – including lying, deceit, exaggeration, hypocrisy, being the real threat to America’s democracy, freedoms, and free speech.

Biden is a legend in his own mind! His now delusional mind!

Will the predicted evil be worse than the evil at hand?

The founding fathers’ fear of despotism is about to be made manifest, and that’s because the institutions and democratic norms that liberals and Democrats keep telling themselves that they hold so dear have failed absolutely.

President Biden dares to tell voters he referred to as garbage, and as much a fascist and racist as Trump for supporting him, that he fulfilled his commitment in being the president for all people.

Biden along with his party and the liberal media brigade were relentless in casting themselves as the essence of tolerance, inclusiveness, identity purification, truth, honesty, and protector of social justice. The soul of America, the protector of democracy and free speech. Except they weren’t and they were exposed for their deceit and hypocrisy.

Trump was considered the existential threat to America’s democracy, freedoms, and free speech. If he were elected the despot would destroy America. Merica wanted more of Biden’s foreign and domestic policies that have resulted in American families never having it so good – open borders, inflation, high cost of living, illegal immigrants having equal rights to Americans, all Republican propaganda. Except the American voter didn’t buy into the Dems propaganda, especially when Biden’s cover up of his mental and physical deficiencies became exposed.

Can we trust anything the Dems and their media lackeys tell us anymore? The same cadre that told us there would be no need to fact check ‘Honest Abe’ Biden when he took office. He was the Great Unifier, above reproach – unlike the bitter, old man leaving office and doing anything possible to obstruct the new regime entering office.

The Democrats have lost even more public trust judging their hearings on Trump’s cabinet nominations. Too often their investigators appeared unprepared, mean-spirited, and self-righteous to a fault. Among the most vicious and vacuous was Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono (D). Although CA Senator Adam Schiff did come in a close second.

Getting tired of that Hope & Change thing yet? From ‘leading from behind’?

NEXT: On to the Trumpster and his agenda filled with grandiose promises to ‘Make America Great Again’ from day one.

    Trump actually kicked Harris’ ass!

Examining the recent September 2024 voter registration data and election results, Trump did win handily, and the Dems are spinning the data to make it appear close.

As of September 2024, 186.5 million Americans nationwide are registered to vote based on available voter registration data.

Of those, 47% of registered voters have declared a party affiliation on their registration (74.6 million).

As of September 2024, 36 million voters are registered Republicans. However, this count is only from states where political party affiliation is part of voter registration records.

Based on 2024 data, the nation has around 45.1 million Democrats. Twenty-three percent are in California (10.2 million), and 14% are in New York (6.4 million).

There are 32.1 million voters registered as independents, undeclared, or no affiliation. Of states where voters can declare a party affiliation. Independent voters account for just over 17% of all registered voters who declare affiliations.

Although most voters are registered as Republicans, Democrats, or independents, there are other political party options. The Green Party is a common minor party, as is the Libertarian Party. About 5.4 million people, or 2.9% of voters, are registered under minor parties.

    154 million votes were cast.
36% of voters are registered Republicans. Expected votes based on registration – 55.44 million votes
45.1% of registered voters are Democrats – Expected votes based on registration – 69.45 million votes

Trump received 77.3 million votes (49.9%) – 312 electoral votes
    Harris received 75.0 votes (48.4%) – 226 electoral votes
Jill Stein received 782,528 votes (0.5%)
Robert Kennedy Jr. received 756,393 votes (0.5%)

The election is over, The Dems can’t accept the results and paint the loss as being close. The stupid, garbage people voted for change and got it. Time to move on and hold the silver-tongued one accountable for all the promises he made.

    Mass Deportation: Trump’s Challenges.

Trump’s SHOCKING Military Plan Shakes the Nation
    Daily News Planet

President-elect Donald Trump has confirmed his intention to declare a national emergency and employ military resources to execute mass deportations of undocumented immigrants upon assuming office in January 2025. This announcement aligns with his campaign promise to implement the largest deportation program in American history.

In a recent post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump responded affirmatively to a statement by Tom Fitton, president of the conservative group Judicial Watch. Fitton had suggested that the incoming administration is prepared to declare a national emergency and will use military assets to reverse the Biden “invasion” through a mass deportation program. Trump replied, “TRUE!!!”

Throughout his campaign, Trump emphasized the urgency of addressing illegal immigration. He pledged to initiate mass deportations immediately upon taking office, stating during a rally at Madison Square Garden, “On Day 1, I will launch the largest deportation program in American history to get the criminals out.”

To facilitate this initiative, Trump has appointed several individuals known for their hardline stances on immigration. South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has been nominated for the Secretary of Homeland Security position, pending Senate confirmation. Additionally, former Acting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Tom Homan has been named border czar. Homan previously discussed his vision for mass deportations, indicating that efforts would first concentrate on expelling criminals and national security threats.

The proposed use of military resources in domestic immigration enforcement raises legal and logistical questions. The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 generally prohibits using federal military personnel to enforce domestic policies. However, exceptions exist, such as the National Guard operating under state authority. Experts have noted that while the military can support operations through logistics, transportation, and surveillance, direct involvement in detaining individuals would likely face significant legal challenges.

The scale of the proposed deportations is unprecedented. Estimates suggest that approximately 11 million undocumented immigrants reside in the United States. Implementing mass deportations could have substantial economic implications, including labor shortages and decreased tax revenue. The American Immigration Council has estimated that such an endeavor could cost billions annually.

Critics have expressed concerns about the humanitarian impact of mass deportations, particularly on families and communities. The logistical challenges of detaining and processing millions of individuals also present significant obstacles. Legal experts anticipate that the proposed measures will face numerous court challenges, especially concerning the use of military resources in domestic law enforcement.

Despite these challenges, Trump’s administration appears committed to pursuing aggressive immigration enforcement policies. The appointment of individuals with strong anti-immigration stances to key positions indicates a concerted effort to fulfill campaign promises related to immigration. As the administration prepares to take office, the nation awaits further details on how these policies will be implemented and the potential ramifications for millions of residents.

Bernie Sanders scorches Trump calls for resistance.

Not agreeing with much of anything Trump said in his inaugural speech, VA Senator Bernie Sanders said what surprised him more is what Trump did not say, that he ignored talking on every important issue facing the working families of this country.

Trump spoke not one word on the following:

    A broken healthcare system

No mention of the 800,000 who are homeless

Millians of people spending 50-60% of their limited income on housing

More Income and wealth inequality than ever

    Planetary climate change crisis

Sanders: “Our job is to respond to every absurd statement Trump makes. To stay focused on the issues that are important to the working families of our country and are wildly supported by the American people. Our goal remains the same: We have to educate, to organize, and put pressure on Congress to do the right things. We have fight to create an America based on economic, social, racial, and environmental justice.”

    Comment

Aren’t these the same crises / issues faced by the Biden-Harris administration over the past 4 years, where nothing was done and are now left for Trump to cleanup. Why the American voter resoundingly voted for change. The same old same old policies?

Surprisingly, Bernie did not speak on illegal immigration, the economy, crime, and foreign policy issues.

All hell is breaking loose: What does one believe?

    The news today. Losers? America!

    Trump

Orders to open the borders have endangered the American people and dissolved federal, state, and local resources that should be used to benefit the American people. Climate extremism has exploded inflation and overburdened businesses with regulation. 'To commence the policies that will make our Nation united, fair, safe and prosperous again, it is the policy of the United States to restore common sense to the federal government.' Other orders ranged in topics from national security, migration at the southern border, the use of natural resources and even gender ideology. One such action was Biden's order Enabling All Qualified Americans to Serve Their Country in Uniform, which said gender identity is not a bar from service.

Trump also rescinded policies establishing a White House Gender Policy Council and ending Cuba's designation as a state sponsor of Terrorism. The 'Initial rescissions of harmful executive orders and actions' memo included a reversal on sanctions against the International Criminal Court. Other executive orders pledged to restore free speech and end censorship, and the end of the 'weaponization' of the federal government against 'political opponents.'

Trump rightly attributed his stunning victory to “groceries and the border”—the inflation coming out of the pandemic that hit working families hard and the influx of immigrants that gave Trump a race-laden cudgel to wield against the administration.

    Biden

Biden delivered “the largest economic recovery plan since Roosevelt, the largest infrastructure plan since Eisenhower, the most judges confirmed since Kennedy, the second-largest healthcare bill since Johnson and the largest climate change bill in history.”

By sustaining Trump’s tariffs and integrating them with a new industrial policy—focused on alternative energy and high-tech investment—Biden consolidated bipartisan support for the break with market fundamentalism that had governed US policy since Ronald Reagan. He also revived antitrust policy and sensible regulation—putting limits on prescription drug company rip-offs, going after the new monopolies.

The greatest failures of the Biden presidency came in foreign policy. His promise of dramatic change—a “foreign policy for the middle class”—proved empty rhetoric, beyond the change in trade policy. Biden announced that “America is back,” reasserting the US as the “indispensable nation,” and proceeded to act as if America remained the unipolar power of three decades past. He confronted Russia in Ukraine, China in the South China Sea, Iran in the Middle East and sustained the misbegotten War on Terror across the world. He sought to enlist allies to make up for the obvious limits of US power and resources, while summoning the world to a quixotic global struggle of democracy against autocracy.

He was assuming a world that no longer existed—and the result was calamitous. Unwillingness to negotiate with Russia over Ukraine sparked an invasion that will leave that country broken and in ruins. He disdained reviving the agreement on nuclear weapons with Iran. His backing of Israel in its genocidal assault on Gaza violated US laws and gave lie to all the US prating about a “rules-based order.” Biden preposterously sustained economic sanctions on one-third of the countries of the world, including 60 percent of developing countries. Defining the threats in military terms, his military budget reached $1 trillion per year, starving resources for real security threats like pandemics and climate change.

Biden claimed as he departed office that America was stronger for his efforts and our adversaries weaker. In fact, conflict zones across the world increased by two-thirds in the last three years. His backing of Israel left America more isolated—and more despised. He geared the country for a military conflict with China in the South China Sea that it cannot win. And the basic notion of a foreign policy for the middle class—that we would curb military adventure abroad to focus on rebuilding the country at home—was lost in the bluster. To our enduring shame, Guantánamo prison remains open and the embargo on Cuba remains in place. In his final speech at the State Department, Biden urged Trump to face the reality that climate change was “the single greatest threat to humanity.” But with the US at peak oil, and the military consuming twice as much money in a year as Biden’s touted climate bill allocated over 10 years, his policies were far from reflecting that threat.

    Trump resistance

Since Election Day, Donald Trump's presidential victory has ignited a wave of progressive activism, with thousands of Americans joining online and in-person groups committed to opposing his policies through legal and congressional challenges. Trump and his allies vowed a "shock-and-awe" approach from day one of his presidency, and he wasted no time, signing at least 26 executive orders on his first night in office. However, many of these orders are already facing potential legal challenges.

Democrats and numerous activist organizations are poised to file lawsuits against Trump’s directives, and the resistance is gaining momentum with support from Democratic lawmakers.

Some officials have even vowed to defy Trump’s orders at the state level, prompting threats of federal investigations from the president. According to the Institute for Policy Integrity, "Trump’s administration has failed nearly 93% of the time when its agency actions have been challenged in court — typically for violations of the Administrative Procedure Act (APA)," writes Democracy Forward.

In a success for progressives, a federal judge on Thursday temporarily halted Trump’s executive order attempting to redefine birthright citizenship, labeling it "blatantly unconstitutional" during the initial hearing of a multi-state lawsuit.

And first line of defense - activism organizations weren't caught off guard this election like they were in 2016. While in 2016, there seemed to be a collective mourning period across the country, this time, these groups are ready and confident.

    Other

Biden Justice Department 'manipulated' crime data to fit Democrats' narrative.
Republicans are reportedly prepared to cut Medicaid funding to pay for Donald Trump’s promised crackdown on immigration and to fund tax cuts that would mostly benefit the wealthy .

Massive shift' in support for deportation of illegal aliens. Four separate polls taken in the last month, a majority of Americans said that they would support the deportation of all immigrants who are illegally in the U.S. A New York Times poll found 55% supported deportation, 64% in a Marquette poll, 57% in a CBS News poll, and 56% said the same in an ABC News poll.

    America – Chaos continues!
