Mark Levin calls out CNN’S Jake Tapper blatant PR ploy
    Blaze Media

According to CNN’s Jake Tapper, he, and co-author, Axios journalist Alex Thompson, had to interview over 200 people to write their book “Original Sin,” which exposed the calculated cover-up of Joe Biden’s cognitive decline during his four-year term.

Mark Levin has one question, though: Why go through the pain of interviewing so many people when you could’ve just interviewed yourself?

Before President Trump was elected, Democrats and the mainstream media had a two-tier plan: “Get [Donald Trump] in prison” and “protect Joe Biden,” says Levin.

Jake Tapper was in on both.

But now that the plans have tanked, Tapper needs a get-out-of-jail-free card, and he’s found it in the form of writing a phony tell-all book that ironically exposes the leftist cover-up campaign that he was deeply embedded in. “Original Sin” is just another Democrat ploy to “rewrite history,” says Levin.

And yet — liberal and conservative media outlets alike are interviewing Tapper and constantly quoting all the “gossip” in the book. But they fail to see the glaring irony: If Tapper were a true journalist, as he clearly aims to present himself, then he would’ve reported on all the damning information on Biden as he was learning it instead of “[saving] it” for his exposé.

Levin wonders when he started conducting these interviews. Did they overlap with his CNN segments where he chided and dismissed anyone who dared to question Biden’s cognitive state?

The information Tapper was secretly stashing away for his own personal gain was nothing less than “the greatest political scandal in American history,” says Levin. And now, he “is literally making millions of dollars despite his role” is squashing the narrative that Joe Biden was cognitively unfit to serve as president.

On his book tour, Tapper has been dropping the word “humility” repeatedly, admitting that his coverage of Biden’s mental state fell short. It's not an admission that he was complicit in the cover-up, though. Levin says don't fall for the ruse. It's the “PR firm” telling him to use that word, not because it reflects his genuine feelings but because it will help him sell more books.

Arnold Schwarzenegger on ICE raids when on the View

Hollywood actor and former Republican California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Tuesday did not give “The View” co-host Joy Behar the reaction she appeared to hope for when she broached the topic of Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) raids in Los Angeles, California.

Behar asked Schwarzenegger if he had a “visceral reaction” to the arrests of hundreds of illegal immigrants in the Los Angeles area, many who have been convicted of heinous criminal acts, including murder and grand theft larceny. Without directly commenting on the raids, the former California governor, an immigrant from Austria, stated that the American people “embraced” him and allowed him to achieve success in a way that would not happen in any other country.

“You are an immigrant, you’re an immigrant of this country,” Behar told Schwarzenegger. “Did you have a visceral reaction to what ICE is doing when you see the videos of it?”

“Well, I’ll tell you. You say ‘immigrant.’ I am so proud and happy that I was embraced by the American people like that,” Schwarzenegger said. “I mean, imagine, I come over here at the age of 21 with absolutely nothing and then to create a career like that. I mean, in no other country in the world could you do that. Every single thing, if it’s a body building career or my acting career, becoming governor, the beautiful family that I’ve created. All of this is because of America. And so this is why I’m so, so happy to see firsthand to see that this is the greatest country in the world and it is the

Schwarzenegger also asserted that immigrants must enter the U.S. legally and that they must “behave” like the guests that they are. He argued that while an immigrant must take advantage of the opportunities that America offers, they must “give something back” in return.

“The key thing is, at the same time, that you got to do things legal[ly],” the former governor said. “That is the important thing. You gotta do things legal[ly] and those people that are doing illegal things in America, the foreigners, they are not smart because when you come to America, you’re a guest, and you have to behave like a guest. It’s like when I go to someone’s house, and I’m a guest, then I will do everything I can to keep things clean and to make my plate and do everything that is the right thing to do rather than committing a crime or being abusive or something like that.”

More anti-Trump protests? The left just can’t help itself.
    The Hill

Why are ‘leftists’ protesting? Are they protesting high inflation? No, the rate of inflation is the lowest in four years.

Are they objecting to rising unemployment? No, unemployment is holding steady at low levels.

Are they squawking about people flooding across our border illegally and driving wages lower? Not at all; President Trump has drastically reduced illegal immigration.

Thanks to solid hiring, wages are growing faster than inflation, so real income is up.

Are they protesting the failures of so many of our schools to educate our children – and especially minority children? Hardly; Randi Weingarten, head of the American Federation of Teachers, is one of the organizers of the protests. She will not draw attention to schools that are graduating illiterate students.

Since those are among the principal concerns of most Americans, what is it they are protesting?

First, they are protesting the Trump administration’s efforts to deport criminals who are in the U.S. illegally, even though, according to Pew, the vast majority of the country is in favor of booting convicted murderers and child rapists — exactly what Immigration and Customs Enforcement was doing in Los Angeles. It is curious that these groups were mostly mute when Barack Obama, aka the “Deporter in Chief,” tossed 3 million people out of the country.

Second, they are angry that Trump is cutting wasteful and fraudulent federal spending. The country’s debt exploded under Joe Biden, but Democrats are objecting to the efforts of the Department of Government Efficiency to root out waste and fraud.

Third, the protesters are determined to distract from a military parade planned for tomorrow in our nation’s capital. They claim the festivities are meant to celebrate Trump — what one of the groups describes as “Herr Trump’s birthday” — but the parade was organized to commemorate the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army. Planning for the celebration has been underway for two years — since before Trump was reelected. The parade portion has only recently been added. Despite this fact, that same group said outright: “A major goal here is to upstage Trump’s self-coronation event by grabbing more of the attention.”

Are the furious hordes unhappy with Trump’s foreign policy? Many progressives have aligned with Hamas against the administration’s support of Israel. In addition, Trump is trying to peacefully force Iran to give up its nuclear arms effort. Biden not only failed to make progress on that front, he gave the mullahs access to tens of billions of dollars, allowing them to beef up terror groups like Hamas and the Houthis. This indirectly helped to fund the heinous attacks on Israel and on commercial shipping in the Red Sea and the U.S. Navy, respectively.

Groups putting together this “No Kings Day” claim they are fighting the Trump administration’s “authoritarianism,” by which they really mean reversal of unpopular policies that have brought the Democratic Party to all-time low favorability ratings.

DEI, biological men in women’s sports, taxpayer funding of biased news organizations, antisemitism on college campuses, cancel culture, mandates as to what kind of car you can drive or how much water your dishwasher can use — Americans are fed up with what should be called “progressive authoritarianism.” They elected a president who vowed to change the country’s course. He is doing it, and they hate it.

Trump is a strong leader and not easily cowed by the liberal media; that does not constitute a threat to democracy.

    Extreme rhetoric and toxic polarization

Civility has left the building. Too often individuals with opposing political opinions get little opportunity to express their opinions because partisan attack dogs take every opportunity to discredit and demonize them.

Unable to present data and facts to substantiate their claims, they shift focus and give the false impression their opponents are clueless, vile, and not credible. It is increasingly the fashion for many Americans to hate and demonize people who disagree with them politically and otherwise.

There are more and more people involved in politics who just throw gas on the fire, exacerbating the hatred and divisiveness that now exists. People must reassess how they treat each other. We have a professional and social media publishing disinformation and biased information resulting in a national political culture that's growing more toxic by the day.

For near a decade the Democrats with the support of a weaponized judicial system and the legacy media saddled Trump with 2 impeachments, multiple lawsuits, tried him as a private citizen, where 25 states attempted to take him off the ballot, had his house raided, and suffered 2 assassination attempts. After the attempt on Trump’s life there was consensus that the toxic rhetoric needed toning down – a lowering of the temperature. Has that happened? Just the opposite!

    Polls

There are polls and there are polls – reflecting but a snapshot in time. President Donald Trump's approval rating has shifted in the wake of the nationwide "No Kings" protests, according to new polling data released this week. Newsweek's tracker now shows Trump's net approval rating at -6 points, with 46 percent approving and 52 percent disapproving. That is Trump's lowest net approval rating since early May.

Christy Setzer, Democratic strategist, told Newsweek: "Trump won on two issues: the economy and immigration. Now that voters are seeing what that means — higher prices, global economic instability, and a politics of cruelty that kidnaps law-abiding people off the street— it's no surprise that they're not liking what they're seeing."

The protests took place last weekend in hundreds of U.S. cities, with large-scale gatherings reported in major hubs such as Philadelphia; Los Angeles; Austin, Texas; Portland, Oregon; and New York. According to analysis by pollster G. Elliott Morris, they were attended by an estimated 4 to 6 million people. They came partly in response to Trump's decision to send 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines to Los Angeles amid reported violence against law enforcement, specifically s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents carrying out deportation raids in the city.

While most polls indicated a Trump decline in favorability, a handful of polls recorded slight gains for Trump. A CBS News/YouGov poll has shown that 54% of Americans back President Donald Trump's deportation efforts, with 50% approving of his immigration policies. CNN analyst Harry Enten said, "There is no issue on which Trump is doing so much better than he was in his first term more than the issue of immigration. Trump is begging for a fight on this because he knows what he's doing so far is working with the American electorate."

A recent Napolitan News Service poll – which surveyed 2,000 registered voters between June 9 to June 12 – asked Americans who they would prefer in a choice among four presidential candidates "with equal skill and temperament." A whopping 35% said they would prefer a Republican candidate who supports Trump's policies, while only 17% said the same of AOC's. In another blow to AOC, 22% of those surveyed said they would prefer "a more traditional Democrat," and 17% said the same of a Republican.

    Incendiary Rhetoric / Actions

Democratic lawmakers refused to participate and walked out of a hearing Wednesday focused on President Joe Biden’s final months in office and whether the mainstream media helped cover up his cognitive abilities. The Senate Judiciary Committee heard from three witnesses, including two former Trump administration White House staffers, who have testified on what they have described as a “cover-up” by members of the media and Biden’s inner circle. “There was a conspiracy to hide the president’s true condition by his family, by his staff, by the media, and many elected officials,” said Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, said in his opening statement.

Former NBC News chief political analyst Chuck Todd said on a Thursday podcast he will die holding the belief that former President Joe Biden’s inner circle purposely set him up for failure in his June 27, 2024, debate against President Donald Trump. odd, on “The Chuck ToddCast,” suggested the most logical reason for Biden’s team setting up the debate was to expose his decline and get him out of the race in time for a different nominee.

Democrat Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s “incredibly derogatory” accusation about supporters of President Donald Trump being mentally ill is out of touch. Crockett said on the “Next Question with Katie Couric” that the current support for Trump indicates a “mental health crisis” across the U.S. Crockett baselessly told “The View” co-hosts Wednesday that President Donald Trump has record-high approval ratings because Americans just are not educated enough to dislike him.

MSNBC’S Lawrence O’Donnell declared on his show that Donald Trump’s ‘cognitive confusion’ about whether he can appoint himself chair if the Federal Reserve among other “stupid and demented” comments, is providing the psychiatrists who predicted his mental acuity would get worse were right. “He is the stupidest man in the Situation Room.

A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll reveals a significant wave of discontent among Democratic voters, with a strong majority expressing a desire for new leadership and a shift in party priorities. The poll, conducted from June 11-16, found that 62% of Democrats believe the party's leadership should be replaced, highlighting a deep disconnect between the issues voters prioritize and what they perceive their elected officials are focusing on. The survey indicates that many Democrats feel their party is over-emphasizing issues such as transgender rights and electric vehicles, while not paying enough attention to pressing economic concerns. Voters are eager for their leaders to address "kitchen-table issues" like the cost of living and affordability, and to work towards reducing corporate influence.

Despite the fact they had every right to protest freely at the ‘No Kings rallies – something that is not allowed in countries like Russia and North Korea – progressives still acted as if Trump is destroying the democratic principles of our country. The very ability to hold the protests disproves the fear a coup and a fascist overthrow is underway.

Faced with the prospect of global war, how sad that hate and divisiveness continues to weaken our once proud and unified nation.

Iran deemed not a threat to America

CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings fired back at former Democratic National Committee (DNC) spokesperson Xochitl Hinojosa’s suggestion on Sunday that Iran was not a direct threat to the U.S.

Hinojosa claimed that President Donald Trump failed to prove that Iran posed a “real, true threat” to the U.S. and thus should have received approval from Congress before bombing three nuclear sites on Saturday night. Jennings argued that the Iranian regime has directly threatened the U.S. by repeatedly chanting “death to America” and by killing Americans.

“But I will say … in order for the president to take action without congressional approval, he needed to show that there was a real, true threat to the United States and that the strike would not cause escalation … We have not heard from [the Department of Defense] what is happening there, so what will be critical in the weeks to come is Congress must see the underlying intelligence about how they were an indirect threat and how the U.S. needed to respond without congressional approval. But as of right now, I have not seen that,” Hinojosa said.

“You’re arguing that after 46 years of the Iranian regime killing Americans, threatening Americans, saying over and repeatedly, ‘death to America,’ that maybe … they just didn’t mean it?” Jennings replied. “That they were fiery but mostly peaceful Iranian butchers? Like I don’t understand. This is a righteous strike.”

Trump, along with many members of Congress, have argued that the “Death to America” chants are a true threat to the safety of the U.S. and a justification to bomb nuclear sites. Following the bombings, House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune said in their statements that the president simply could not allow Iran to build nuclear weapons due to its commitment to bring “death to America.”

Resurfaced footage from 2018 showed Iranian parliament members chanting the slogan and burning a paper American flag on the parliament floor to protest Trump’s decision to pull out of the 2015 international nuclear deal.

Iranian-backed groups and weaponry were responsible for the deaths of 603 U.S. troops in Iraq between 2003 and 2011, according to the Military Times, citing the Pentagon. By estimation, Iran’s military actions may have led to the deaths of over 1,000 U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan combined over the last decade and a half.

Richard Stengel, an Obama-era undersecretary of state for public affairs, said on MSNBC during a Thursday segment that Iranians chanted “death to America” in a peaceful manner. He further argued that the U.S. “has much more in common” with Iran than other allied nations, though Iran has a history of abusing its citizens and violating their basic human rights.

Since 1979, women have faced the threats of fines, arrests, and even public flogging for violating Iran’s hijab regulations that require them to completely cover their hair. In September 2022, Masha Amini, a 22-year-old Iranian woman, died in the hospital after being beaten by the “morality police” for violating these regulations, which sparked mass protests across the country.

    Biden exposed.

What any reasonably intelligent individual saw throughout Biden’s political career, another sleazy, lying politician. He lied about his education, he lied about supporting the Black community, he lied about not pardoning his son, so much more. We all know politicians lie, but Joe’s whole career was nothing but lies.

As the truth continues to surface, the Democrat Party faces credibility / integrity loss for each propaganda lie. As time continues party members will not only blame Trump for every mistake but turn on each other, as they always have to deny and blame others for their bad choices. Those bad choices will grow and eventually annihilate the party.

Chuck Todd tears into Biden's family-man image, questions if we 'were sold a 40-year bill of goods.'

Former NBC News host Chuck Todd wondered on Monday if the media were sold a "40-year bill of goods" about former President Joe Biden being a family man during a discussion about Biden's decision to run for re-election.

"You and I covered, for most of our professional lives, the story of Joe Biden was: This guy cared about his family so much he commuted home every night from Washington," Todd said during his podcast, "The Chuck Toddcast," first reported by The Daily Caller.

Todd spoke to CNN host Jake Tapper about Biden while discussing Tapper's book, "Original Sin," which is about the former president's decision to run for re-election and the cover-up of his decline while in office.

"You know what else you could say is, this man was so ambitious that after his family went through that tragedy, he commuted every day to work, like it's the same story. I sit here, I look at this, and I think, were we sold a 40-year bill of goods?" Todd said.

Moderates hold the key, but neither party truly is holding the middle.

An interesting, informative report for independent moderate voters – like this lifelong unaffiliated registered voter hoping for the establishment of a viable third party. Many others dissatisfied with extremist views and policies from both major parties are the reason for the expanding number of registered voters changing their voter registration to independent.

Moderates hold key, but neither party truly is holding the middle
Pittsburgh Post Gazette – David M. Shribman

An aggressive administration fires federal employees, changes geo-graphical names, and appoints a vaccine skeptic to high office. Opponents of the president challenge many of his initiatives in court. The executive branch defies court orders. The House minority leader stages a sit-in on the steps of the Capitol. A Republican senator deplores his party's ties to Wall Street and business interests. Pro-Palestinian students take over buildings and pour red paint on revered campus monuments.

This is not a moderate moment in America. But then again, maybe it is.

With a president whose strident social-media statements appear at all hours of the early morning, with a democratic-socialist senator and a progressive House member conducting a "Fighting Oligarchy" tour, and with the country's campuses aflame with protests and recrimination, it sometimes seems as if the right and the left are moving farther apart than ever, at an ever-quickening pace.

There is evidence that is exactly what's happening, at least on Capitol Hill. But there is another dynamic at work, hidden beneath the surface of American politics, overshadowed by the passions and partisanship of the country's leaders.

The torrid 21st century may actually be the high-water mark for those with no party identification and with moderate views.

That's because, in recent elections, the party that won independent moderates won the presidential election. It also means that the Democrats cannot return to power unless they find a way to appeal to moderate voters – which may be a difficult task when their most prominent figures today are Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, two members of Congress who essentially define the farthest extreme of conventional Democratic politics.

"Candidates who win the vote of moderate independents win the election. Candidates who lose those voters lose the election," said David Brady, a Stanford political scientist who has been studying the effect of independents and moderates in American politics.

This effect is evident in the elections of Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden.

As the Democratic presidential nominee, Obama won independent moderates by 10 percentage points in 2008 and by seven points four years later, according to The Economist/YouGov poll. In 2020, when Trump sought re-election, independent moderates went to Joe Biden by 8 percentage points, and he won the election.

When Democrats fail to take independent moderates, they lose. This happened in 2016, when Trump and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton split the independent moderates, each with 43% of that group. It happened again in 2024, when Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris split independent moderates, each with 48% of those voters.

With between 35 and 45% of Democrats considering themselves moderates, the party's congressional delegation is out of sync with the party at large.

While the Democrats struggle to win the support of politically moderate Americans, Trump has figured out the keys to the political kingdom for a Republican presidential candidate: draw substantial numbers of voters from the white working class who used to identify as Democrats and add a growing number of minorities, a formula that gives Republicans sufficient support to absorb losses in suburban areas that recently have been leaning to the Democrats.

The importance of independent moderates and Democratic moderates is not a new concept for Democrats. Winning their support has been elusive since the last quarter of the last century.

That is why the Democrats lost five of the six elections between 1968 (when Richard Nixon won the White House against Hubert Humphrey) and 1988 (when George H.W. Bush prevailed in his race against Michael Dukakis).

That prompted moderates within the party, led by Gov. Bill Clinton of Arkansas, to form the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC). Aided by running in a three-way race at a time when white working-class voters still had strong identification with the Democrats, Clinton finally broke through and captured the White House in 1992.

"It's always the case that there are three conservatives to every two liberals, so the Democrats have to win moderates if they are to win elections," Alvin From, the founder of the DLC, said in an interview.

These labels are imprecise and constantly shifting, but though Clinton, Jimmy Carter, John F. Kennedy, and Harry Truman often were characterized by Republicans as liberals, they were by some measure moderates in their own time.

The early notion of the DLC could easily be adapted and adopted by today's Democrats: "to develop an agenda, grounded in Democratic Party principles, that could make us competitive again in the presidential elections."

From believes that Democrats have to be open to new faces, the way they were in 1992 – and to take on the identity of insurgents rather than establishment figures while shoring up Democratic weaknesses on the economy and crime and steering clear of identity politics.

The Republicans don't have to worry so much about moderates. While Dwight Eisenhower was a moderate, he was a special case because of his role in World War II. Otherwise, some of the more moderate GOP candidates, such as Wendell Willkie (1940), George H. W. Bush (1992), and Mitt Romney (2012), failed to prevail.

Casting about for a middle ground has been a challenging chore for generations. A century and a half ago, Hugh Cecil counseled his House of Commons friend Winston Churchill, "A Middle Party … may be a very proper course when there is a Middle Party to join. Now there is none." There isn't one here, either.

Zohran Mamdani, face of the Democratic Party

Many people are wondering how Zohran Mamdani, a 33-year-old socialist Muslim who wants to defund the police, globalize the intifada, and destroy capitalism, has emerged as the Democratic Party's nominee for New York City mayor, with leaders like former President Bill Clinton fawning over him.

To understand Mamdani’s political ascent, you have to trace the red-green-blue spider’s web that brought him here. This isn’t a complete map — I've written a book, "Woke Army: The Red-Green Alliance That Is Undermining America’s Freedom," to document that story — but it is a snapshot of key turning points over two decades of strategy, narrative manipulation, and activist training.

Ford CEO admits there’s ‘no future’ for company if it loses key China battle & hits out at Google & Apple over failures

FORD’S CEO, Jim Farley, has admitted that China’s advancements could push the car company into deep trouble. As automakers compete to produce eco-friendly models, Ford is falling behind in the race.

On Friday, Farley announced that the Chinese electronic vehicle industry would be tough to beat — a serious concern for Ford’s future, as reported by Business Insider.

After making several trips to China, Farley said he was struck by the sheer number of EVs produced in the region.

“It’s the most humbling thing I have ever seen. Seventy percent of all EVs in the world, electric vehicles, are made in China,” Farley said.

“They have far superior in-vehicle technology. Huawei and Xiaomi are in every car.”

“You get in, you don’t have to pair your phone. Automatically, your whole digital life is mirrored in the car,” he added.

Farley announced his concerns in conversation with American journalist Walter Isaacson during a panel at the Aspen Ideas Festival.

He told Isaacson that Ford had not reached a place where the automaker could produce similar EVs yet.

The CEO blamed the company’s lack of EV presence on tech giants, like Google and Apple, because they “decided not to go into the car business,” Farley said.

“Beyond that, their cost, their quality of their vehicles is far superior to what I see in the West,” Farley said.

“We are in a global competition with China, and it’s not just EVs. And if we lose this, we do not have a future Ford,” he added.

Farley has been keeping an eye on Chinese competition for months.

Last year, he said Chinese tech giant Xiaomi was an “industry juggernaut and a consumer brand that is much stronger than car companies” and applauded the company publicly.

Although he admitted that the company’s success does raise concerns for Ford, Farley also mentioned that he drives a Xiaomi vehicle himself — the Xiaomi Speed Ultra 7.

“I don’t like talking about the competition so much, but I drive the Xiaomi,” he said. “We flew one from Shanghai to Chicago, and I’ve been driving it for six months now, and I don’t want to give it up,” he added. Foreign car companies are releasing newer, better EV models one after another.

    Electric vehicles vs gas

    EV PROS:
    • Convenient (when charging at home)
    • Cheaper (depending on state or city)
    • Cheaper maintenance, due to lack of mechanical parts
    • Great for commuting
    • Reduced CO2 emissions
    • Federal and state tax incentives
    • More performance (speed, handling – depending on the make and model)

    EV CONS:
    • Higher initial cost
    • Higher insurance rates
    • More frequent tire and brake replacement intervals
    • Higher curb weight (thus causing more rapid wear on crucial parts)
    • Low resale value
    • High depreciation rates
    • Lack of charging infrastructure
    • Unreliable public charging (related: slow charging times)
    • Poor winter and summer performance
    • Lack of clean energy alternatives means more “dirty energy” from coal and nuclear sources
    • Range anxiety

    GAS PROS:
    • Highly developed refueling infrastructure
    • Fast refueling
    • Cheaper insurance rates, depending on make, model, and configuration
    • Established repair industry
    • Lower initial cost
    • Higher range before refueling, especially with hybrids
    • Many manufacturers produce nearly emission-less engines
    • Cheaper refueling, depending on the location

    GAS CONS:
    • Finite resource (related: heavy dependence on petroleum)
    • Carbon emissions/greenhouse gases
    • Higher repair costs
    • Higher insurance rates, depending on make, model, and configuration
    • Varying costs at the pump, depending on state, city, and county

    What will future polls indicate

A poll is just a snapshot in time and often biased by polling organization and manipulated questioning. This is now, what then?

A record-high share of American voters are content with the work of Republican lawmakers, according to the latest NPR/PBS News/Marist Poll.
In the survey, conducted in late June, 36 percent of registered voters approve of the job Republicans in Congress are doing — the highest level recorded since pollsters began asking the question in 2011.

The latest approval rating also marks a 10-point jump from the last time the question was asked, in February 2024, when 26 percent of registered voters approved of the job Republicans in Congress were doing.

Democrats in Congress, meanwhile, have seen a dramatic drop in their approval rating in the latest poll. Only 27 percent of registered voters approve of the job congressional Democrats are doing — down 12 points since February 2024. In the March 2021 poll, Democrats saw their record-high approval of 41 percent.

Congressional Democrats’ showing in the latest poll seems to be fueled by members of their own party — only 44 percent of Democratic respondents approve of their party’s work in Congress, while 43 percent disapprove.

Meanwhile, among Republican respondents, 73 percent approve of the GOP’s work in Congress, while 15 percent disapprove.

Among independents, 25 percent gave a nod of approval to the job Republicans in Congress are doing, while 20 percent approve of the job Democrats in Congress are doing. As an independent disapproving and distrusting both parties, upcoming polls should become more revealing when considering recent events:

    • The Israeli-Iran war and U.S, bombing of Iran nuclear development sites.

    • Trade war outcomes.

    • Democratic Party endorsing and supporting a socialist democrat for New York City Mayor. Supported by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Mamdani proudly backs the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement, refuses to condemn the phrase "globalize the intifada,” and proposes radically socialist policies, including rent freezes, city-owned grocery stores, a $30 minimum wage and a Department of Community Safety to reduce reliance on police.

If elected, Mamdani, who was funded to the tune of $100,000 by CAIR, is one step further in the Islamist plan to collapse the West.

    • Top Democratic Party donors are frustrated with New York State Assembly Member Zohran Mamdani’s recent primary win and express: “If this is what our party represents right now, I don’t want to be a part of this party, It’s disgusting, and it’s why we’re in the position we’re in.”

    • Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Biil’ passes Senate. Not so beautiful for all!

    • Salvaging FBI trust.

    • Deportation process, ICE protests and with agent attacks increasing 700% this past year.

    Proud to be an American?

FOX News host Laura Ingraham analyzes why pride in the United States has dropped among leftists ahead of Independence Day on 'The Ingraham Angle.'

Today, Senate Democrats lost the battle to derail Trump's big, beautiful bill. Democrats have lost case after case at the Supreme Court, and they're slowly losing their ideological monopoly at colleges and university. They've lost America on the trans issue, and of course, they're steadily losing ground among young men and Hispanics, and the trend of losing extends to another area, patriotism. They're losing that too.

But, over the past 20 years, the percentage of Americans who say they're extremely or very proud to be an American has been declining. It's been falling from 83 percent to 58 percent.

But, when you look more closely, that slide is almost entirely due to the fact that Democrats' pride in the country is cratering. Check out these numbers.

Republican patriotism only slipped by one percent over two decades, 93 to 92 percent, but among Democrats, pride in the country dropped a staggering 45 percent, from a robust 81 percent in 2005 to a pathetic 36 percent today.

A Harvard Political Review survey from earlier this year saw similarly sad results. Only 41 percent of young Americans said they were proud to be American. But, among young Democrats, only 24 percent expressed pride.

And from last year's long-running survey of high school seniors in the Atlantic, only 27 percent of high school seniors agreed that the U.S. system was the best in the world.

Whenever liberals opine about democratic erosion, we should all let out a collective howl, because where was their concern about attacks on democracy when they tried to kick Trump off the ticket, or, of course, when they pushed out their own nominee? The truth is, Democrats are the ones. Democrats are the ones who have had the problem with democracy all along, and they sure do have a problem with their American exceptionalism.

They don't believe it. At times, they even say the quiet part out loud. ANDREW CUOMO (D), FMR NEW YORK GOVERNOR: -- America great again. It was never that great.

Independence Day is almost here. We should all celebrate together, be proud of our country together, regardless of which party is in charge, and that's The Angle.

Socialist Mamdani influential supporters do exist.

Think Zohran Mamani doesn’t stand a chance of winning New York City’s Mayoral race, think again.

Mamdani is considered dangerous by many as a far-left socialist espousing policies that include free buses, a rent freeze for regulated apartments, a pilot program of city-run grocery stores and extending universal childcare to children as young as six weeks old and defunding the police. Many of these programs would be paid for from higher taxes, particularly on billionaires and millionaires.

Requesting Republican candidate Sliwa and Cuomo drop out of the mayoral race and support independent Adams is clear indication for the concern of Mamdani’s rise and chance of becoming NYC Mayor. While the potential left-wing successor has set off rancor and fear among the business elite, some of whom say they are considering leaving the city altogether, others believe his promise to not favor government taking over their businesses.

Yet at a Young Democratic Socialists of America conference in 2021, Mamdani told attendees not to compromise on goals like "seizing the means of production." In a video from The Gravel Institute Mamdani discusses the need to turn housing from a private commodity to a public one. In the video, he called for luxury condos to be replaced with communal style living that would include things like shared laundry facilities and food co-ops.

An excellent report by the Wall Street Journal on why he is drawing attention and support from both the public and business world.

    New York City, quo Vadis?

The worst thing a politician can do is to promise doing something he knows is undoable.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams says Netanyahu is welcome in the city (and other comments) after Mamdani’s remarks

Will Mamdani become the face of the Democratic Party?

Why not, outside the Dems hatred for Trump, they have nothing going for it. However, Mamdani's victory has sparked a civil war of sorts within the Democratic Party with those pushing to moderate. Where Democrats outnumber Republicans by a roughly six-to-one margin in New York City, Mamdani’s unfolding campaign will be an uncertainty, and a barometer for national politics.

Zohran Mamdani burst onto the national political scene last month when he won a surprising victory in New York City's Democratic mayoral primary despite facing criticism for his far-left policies, which included city-run grocery stores, defunding police, safe injection sites and raising the minimum wage to $30. It has made him the front runner to win the general election in November.

A recent survey finds that about twice as many U.S. adults say they would vote for a candidate with Mamdani's platform (50%) than say they would not (26%). Could Mamdani’s unapologetically populist agenda serve as a blueprint for Democrats elsewhere as they struggle to regain power in the Age of Trump.

The Democratic Party is in worse shape (60% unfavorable vs. 32% favorable) than the Republican Party (56% unfavorable vs. 36% favorable), so it can use all the help it can get. Mamdani’s ideas are much more popular than Mamdani himself.

Many Americans approve of Zohran Mamdani's proposals: Raising taxes on corporations and millionaires to pay for these proposals; implementing free childcare for every child aged 6 weeks to 5 years; freezing rent for lower-income tenants; creating a network of government-owned grocery stores focused on keeping prices low rather than making a profit; raising the minimum wage to $30 by 2030; permanently eliminating the fares on public buses.

Asked whether they would “vote for a candidate whose platform included all of these proposals,” half of Americans say yes (50%) — and just a quarter say no (26%). Mamdani secured his latest endorsement from the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) in his New York City mayoral campaign on Wednesday morning. The governing body for the 200,000-member union representing New York City's teachers and education professionals voted to endorse Mamdani Tuesday.

However, they are but ideas and promises made with little chance of fulfillment. Is he becoming the face of the Democratic Party? Will America succumb to Marxist policies that have failed in other countries and made lives more unbearable?

Mamdani’s values and non-acceptance of American traditions

Zohran Mamdani's old tweets have come back to haunt him. First, a 2015 tweet questioning the FBI's surveillance tactics on Anwar al-Awlaki -- a US-born cleric later linked to the terror outfit al-Qaida and alleged to have ties to the 9/11 attackers -- enraged several New Yorkers still reeling from the tragedy. A 2020 tweet in which he is seen showing the middle finger to a statue of Christopher Columbus has infuriated the Italian American voter base, which makes up 8 percent of New York City's electorate,

Described America as incomplete and a contradiction on his Independence Day social media post.

College newspaper articles written by New York City socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani shed light on the surging candidate’s early views on a variety of topics, including his promotion of an anti-Israel boycott and concerns about "white privilege.

Refuses to address call for ‘Intifada globalization.’ Co-founded his college’s Students for Justice in Palestine organization. Mamdani wrote. "The call for the boycott of Israel comes in response to more than 60 years of Israeli colonial occupation of Palestine.

    Defunding the police. Resisting ICE.
