I simply do not know what Biden means by that suggestion. Bear in mind, it was the hapless Trump DOJ that gave us the Mueller Investigation, whose internal leaks supported the subversive promulgation of a fantasy narrative for three years. Perhaps Biden is saying that his DOJ will not permit a focus on issues involving the Biden family's alleged corruption, no matter what evolves or is eventually exposed?

But no worries. Whatever the intent of the presumed President-elect's comment(s), I am reasonably sure that all of Biden's words will be subject to the trending Leftist "reimagination," if America wakes up to a Democrat controlled Senate on January 6, 2021.

Yes indeed, some politicos who claim to be the ‘healers & uniters’ are sometimes the most divisive. Like his previous boss, Biden is one example. His recent tone and demeanor mask his persona and agenda established over 49 years in politics.

He learned well and continues to learn from mentor Obama who likewise schmoozed and manipulated the public for his best interest. Obama, the same individual who did not endorse Biden until primary victory was ascertained.

    Obama perspective:

We shall learn more of Mr. Biden and the direction this country takes as he continues to fill his cabinet while pressured from the socialist, Marxist left demanding payback for their support in his victory.

After years of attacking Trump and his supporters, Democrats now ask for unity

    https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/trum...david-limbaugh

Many Trump haters have been lying all along about the president, what he stands for, what his record has been and who his supporters are. Now they tell us they want unity.

What Trump wants — and what his supporters want — is for America to reclaim its greatness, its robust liberty tradition, its prosperity, the integrity of its borders, fair trade deals with foreign nations and its military strength. He has made great strides in achieving these goals.

Trump's opponents — the left-wing media, Democrats, never-Trump Republicans — have never given him a moment's rest, never a benefit of the doubt, never an atom of cooperation or bipartisanship. They haven't just served as the loyal opposition, resisting his agenda like the minority party is expected to do. They have never let him govern. From the time he stepped on the political stage, they've harassed, investigated, bullied, impeached and censored him.

Most of the charges against Trump are over-the-top outrageous. Joe Biden — who the media characterize as a nice, harmless fellow — has portrayed Trump as a racist and has said Trump is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans from COVID-19.

    Comment

Joe Biden, the self-proclaimed anti-socialist ‘centrist ’ who Marxist socialist Progressives say must embrace left-leaning policies. We have yet to see the real Joe Biden. The liberal mainstream media has thrown a protective shield around him.

The ‘Defund the Police’ movement, BLM, the Squad and far-left demand concessions or the country will continue to burn. How is Mr. Biden going to handle that?

Will 74 million Trump supporters say, “Shucks, we are ready to kiss and make up. We’ve got your back!”

Biden didn’t win because of the support from far-left Marxist socialists, rather the vote of moderate Democrats and because Trump himself helped in the election loss!
Trump’s gone. Now is Biden’s time in the hot seat.

    Hypocrisy? Indeed!

"What kind of country is this?"

Unity in America is pretty much impossible without proper closure to the Trump Presidency, if in fact he has lost the Presidency.

In his interview with Maria Bartiromo Sunday morning, the President did not make significant news. Rather, he chose the interview as an opportunity to vent frustrations and raise concerns. The former in my opinion was unsettling; the latter was alarming.

The President expressed a serious lack of confidence in the new mail-in voting system. Trump suggested that Covid was exploited to institute that new system. According to Trump, that system, turned a quadrennial American ritual into a first time-in-history national calamity. "This election is rigid. This election was a total fraud," were the President's curious words.

If I assessed his words correctly, "This election IS rigid" indicated that the President feels that his ongoing challenges face a rigid process; "This election WAS" a total fraud suggests that Trump firmly believes that corruption and chicanery played a major role in the great 4:00 a.m. vote dump which changed the perceived outcome of the race.

In consideration of the latter, along with suspicious ballot dumps and Dominion equipment, Trump pointed to the suspected practice of back-dating mail-in ballots as a significant source of concern.

But, it was Trump's reaction to the pre-Election Day mail-in ballot system that I found most interesting, because he seemingly laid blame directly at his own Justice Department. Of A.G. Barr, who previously speculated that the mail-in ballot system was susceptible to "fraud," Trump held that he (Barr) did absolutely "nothing" in anticipation to confront the threat of such fraud.

My more significant concerns attend the latter; a seeming corrupted system of legal recourse, which in honor of America's Constitutional system, should function smoothly and impartially in the interests of election integrity.

Further, the President suspiciously pointed to the various lower courts, which previously refused to accept and consider what the President claimed to be "a lot" of evidence, as a strong indication of a politically-"rigid" system. Trump observed that the SCOTUS needs to hear his case, and in that connection, he wants "to file one big, beautiful lawsuit."

I understand Trump's subsequent comments to indicate, absent SCOTUS relief, the possibility that the electoral process in certain states may face scrutiny by state legislatures.

All-in-all, the interview was a rambling, desperate venting of a President, who also suggested the possibility that his Presidency and re-election campaign may be undergoing sabotage by his own appointed DOJ actors who at the very least, have left, and continue to leave unattended, the rather suspicious functioning of their Deep State subordinates.

To wit, Trump, concerning possible investigations into the fraud allegations, expressed puzzlement at his own DOJ when he observed "I don't know if the DOJ and FBI are involved."

(Together his comments "Missing in action" with regard to Comey, et al, and his fleeting reference to the illusive Durham Report, his words appeared to be a continuance of his three and a half year wail of Deep State subversion transcending patriotic duty.)

Most alarming were the President's comments "What is going on in this country is not to be believed...I could say a lot of the things that happened over the last 15 to 20 years."

If President Trump does have evidence which could clarify for the nation "the things that happened," he needs to firmly, credibly, and authoritatively provide it to the American people-now; to do otherwise would be subversive in and of itself.

In that interview Trump asked "What kind of country is this?"

Perhaps he can publicly answer that question for all of the world.

    Concede already!

Trump is well within his right to challenge the legitimacy of this years ballot casting. If there is fraud, which a large number of voters on all sides hold true, it has to be brought to light and addressed.

That said, Trump should have conceded long ago but continued to expose the ‘fraud’ when there is evidence there were irregularities and where dead people cast votes.

I found the following report both interesting and ‘spot on’!

    Trump’s Disgraceful Endgame

    https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/...ceful-endgame/

There are legitimate issues to consider after the 2020 vote about the security of mail-in ballots and the process of counting votes (some jurisdictions, bizarrely, take weeks to complete their initial count), but make no mistake: The chief driver of the post-election contention of the past several weeks is the petulant refusal of one man to accept the verdict of the American people. The Trump team (and much of the GOP) is working backwards, desperately trying to find something, anything to support the president’s aggrieved feelings, rather than objectively considering the evidence and reacting as warranted.

Almost nothing that the Trump team has alleged has withstood the slightest scrutiny. In particular, it’s hard to find much that is remotely true in the president’s Twitter feed these days. It is full of already-debunked claims and crackpot conspiracy theories about Dominion voting systems. Over the weekend, he repeated the charge that 1.8 million mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania were mailed out, yet 2.6 million were ultimately tallied. In a rather elementary error, this compares the number of mail-ballots requested in the primary to the number of ballots counted in the general. A straight apples-to-apples comparison finds that 1.8 million mail-in ballots were requested in the primary and 1.5 million returned, while 3.1 million ballots were requested in the general and 2.6 million returned.

Elected Republicans have generally taken the attitude that the president should be able to have his day in court. It’s his legal right to file suits, of course, but he shouldn’t pursue meritless litigation in Hail Mary attempts to get millions of votes tossed out. This is exactly what he’s been doing, it’s why reputable GOP lawyers have increasingly steered clear, and it’s why Trump has suffered defeat after defeat in court.

    Trump’s unscheduled vote fraud speech

This guy’s just an outright bat-****, sore loser, right? Liar, liar, pants on fire!

Nothing there right? What’s wrong with, a few dead people or illegals voting, right?
Signature verification, come on, where’s the trust? The new norm!

Integrity in politics? I think not!

Lee, the fact that no Mainstream Media covered the speech was disgraceful; a shameless disregard for political impartiality which, in and of itself, was and remains a strong indication to me that there may be something well beyond a disputed election in play.

This is the "Caution" that I received when I attempted to engage the YouTube link that you posted:

I was able to access the President's remarks only after I removed the "Caution."

That forced-exposure was, IMHO, totally outrageous.

I am not going to share publicly what I suspect may actually be happening in our nation, but I do note that under the appropriate circumstances, the President does have the authority to activate the Emergency Alert System to address the nation, and the complicit media is required by statute to broadcast such an address.

The Emergency Alert System is a national public warning system commonly used by state and local authorities to deliver important emergency information, such as weather and AMBER alerts, to affected communities over television and radio. Emergency Alert System participants – radio and television broadcasters, cable systems, satellite radio and television providers, and wireline video providers – deliver state and local alerts on a voluntary basis, but they are required to deliver Presidential alerts, which enable the President to address the public during a national emergency. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the FCC work collaboratively to maintain the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts, which are the two main components of the national public warning system. Authorized federal, state, and local authorities create the alerts that are transmitted through the system.

Nothing to see here, move along...

I don't know for sure what went on and continues to develop in Georgia, but this tragedy has prevented both Governor Kemp and Senator Loeffler from greeting Vice President Pence today, and most likely will prevent both from greeting President Trump tomorrow.

IMHO, this is well beyond a suspicious coincidence, especially in light of the fact that three vehicles cars were seemingly engaged, and erupted into one huge fireball.

BTW, hey Deep State Globalists, how many mysterious deaths were linked to the assassination of President Kennedy?

Columns like this will help bring unity to thee country – NOT!

The country will not become united unless 74 million non-compassionate, racist, anti-immigration Trump supporters get a lobotomy and forfeit independent thinking and free speech. Democrats good, Republicans bad!

It’s time to understand the Biden voter

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...d-biden-voter/

Coverage that seeks to coddle, soothe and ultimately infantilize President Trump’s voters has pervaded post-election media. How could 74 million Americans vote for Trump? Why are they so alienated? Why haven’t we been listening to them?

If all this seems utterly ordinary, one might now go back and understand that the hardcore MAGA crowd disagrees with or cheerfully embraces ignorance about much of this.

They are anti-mask, pro-wall and climate-change deniers. They prefer unprovable conspiracy theories to fact-based arguments and allow Trump to say that the death toll is a success in fighting covid-19.

They are convinced the election was stolen and that the deep state perpetrated the “Russia hoax.”

They seek to express racial grievances and tribalism through government while also thinking racism is practically nonexistent.

They want to go back to an era when they imagine White Christians ruled the roost and most Americans looked like them.

Bridging the gap between Biden and MAGA enthusiasts won’t be possible so long as the latter hew to myths, prejudices, conspiracies and flat-out lies. They might want to reflect on whether their anger-driven approach to politics really inures to their benefit.

But in the meantime, back on Earth, 80 million Biden voters (and those Trump voters outside the MAGA cult) would like to get back to the business of solving national problems, running a responsible government and modeling American values.

Yes, when it comes to the security of the mail-in ballot election, the Post Office certainly can be trusted for it's standards.

Trump rally, the truth according to CBS

In a recent interview former president Obama declared: "The lines have blurred now between propaganda and what we would consider journalism in a way that has been described as truth decay." "You’ve got an epistemological problem where people don’t know now entirely what’s true and what’s not, and the old authorities and curators of what is factual are greatly weakened."

No better example was on display tonight than CBS' report on the Georgia Trump rally. Trump is delusional in declaring he will be elected, but CBS and the mainstream media are delusional in declaring there was no voting irregularities / fraud.

Trump makes multiple false claims in first rally since election loss

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...?ocid=msedgdhp

Mr. Trump made several false claims about there being widespread voter fraud, even though his campaign has offered no evidence.

Nonetheless, Mr. Trump claimed that his campaign had evidence of fraud, although he did not provide any examples.

"We have so much evidence, we don't know what to do with it," Mr. Trump said, reiterating accusations without proof. He and his supporters watched clips from the conservative channel Newsmax that included multiple false and debunked claims about voter fraud.

    Comment

Ample evidence has been provided, but it is all false according to the media and the far left.

Despite Mr. Trump's explicit attempts to undermine faith in the election, most Republicans are supporting his false claims. An analysis by the Washington Post published on Saturday found that only 26 of the 249 Republicans in Congress have acknowledged Biden's victory.

    Comment

According to the Washington Post survey: Just 27 congressional Republicans acknowledge Joe Biden’s win over President Trump a month after the former vice president’s clear victory.

Two Republicans consider Trump the winner despite all evidence showing otherwise. And another 220 GOP members of the House and Senate — about 88 percent of all Republicans serving in Congress — will simply not say who won the election.

    Comment

Despite all the far-left media reports that give the impression that Republicans in Congress are declaring Biden the winner in great numbers, the above survey does not indicate that that to be true. Why are so many holding reservations? Why are so many of the 74 million Trump voters holding to the belief the election was rigged?

Near four years and $48 million spent on investigating Trump and no claim of Russian collusion found, but this claim of voter corruption bears no evidence and investigation.

In his speech on Saturday, Mr. Trump did spend time criticizing Ossoff and especially Warnock, calling them radical socialists.

    Comment

All that ink spent on deriding Trump, so little spent on reporting on the radical Marxist social values / philosophies of the two Democratic far-left candidates – of interest to voters who abhor Marxist socialism. Fair and balanced reporting, eh?

We don’t know because the media blows!

    Have you had enough yet?

One million confirmed Covid-19 cases in the last 5 days. Western New York is burning up. Businesses are closing in record numbers. The health system is overwhelmed. Vaccine approval is being held up and its after-effects politicized. And with all this misfortune instead of having leadership that provides calm and certainty, we have an outgoing president and incoming president-elect, an inept polarized Congress, and a biased deceitful media who are more interested in their best interests than ours.

A president and his minions daring to go unmasked during the surging pandemic is idiotic. A petulant president who refuses to acknowledge defeat and in doing so diminishes his chance to prove voting irregularities / fraud existed. A president who continues to act the non-professional, self-righteous bully,

A President-elect who shamelessly declares he will not hold China responsible for the virus, rather blames Trump for the deaths of all Americans from the virus. A president-elect who claims his administration will not be Obama 2.0, yet is filling positions with previous Obama officer holders and is said to hold Bill Clinton in high esteem for his administration and policies; like NAFTA and the 2000 China Relations Act that granted China permanent normal trade relations (NTR) status and where both cost America jobs. Biden has yet to prove he is not a 'Marxist socialist'.

An inept, dysfunctional Congress that can't gettogether to pass a stimulus act so badly needed by its citizens. And then these elected officials play the blame game and appeal to their base to vote for them, when in reality neither political party has right to claim they pass the purity test.

And then there’s the media publishing biased, divisive claptrap like this that takes away from any hope of a united America:

The Biden Era Will Be Neither Normal Nor Boring

    https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/ar...20be%20chaotic.

The next four years will be quieter than the past four, but they will still be chaotic.

Having spent the past four years with the political equivalent of heavy metal music blasting outside their psychic windows late into the night, millions of Americans are hoping that the Biden administration will usher in a new era of calm. They are likely to be disappointed.
To a limited extent, such wishes will be granted. Under President Joe Biden, the White House will no longer generate a cacophony of incompetence. Tweet tantrums will yield to process and predictability. Outright falsehood will be supplanted by more traditional spin, tethered to truth. Cabinet officers and appointees will conspicuously fail to match their predecessors’ reckless driving, or the ethical and policy car crashes that resulted. No one will be kidnapping migrant children and blithely deporting their parents to destinations unknown.

But while Biden may proceed with business as usual, the nation and the world will not. U.S. domestic politics is an ugly mess, and whatever muddling consensus might have been forged among U.S. allies regarding Chinese ambitions, global migration or climate peril is further from realization than it was four years ago. No matter how dull Biden aspires to be, the forces of entropy — including a soon-to-be-removed incumbent desperate to polarize for profit — will push toward chaos and conflict.

Meanwhile, the GOP is ever more invested in a set of interlocking resentments — of liberal elites, of Black Americans, of feminism and nontraditional sexual identities, of immigrants, of rich cities, of poor cities, of all the emerging and dynamic quarters of the U.S. economy. Other than its bedrock commitment to upward redistribution of national wealth, the party’s compact with its voters entails little more than punishing weaker enemies or owning empowered libs.

    Comment

Trump and his supporters bad, Biden and his backers good, etc., etc.

Four more years of turmoil, who would have thought it. Four years of dumping on Trump and the Dems thought the Republicans were going silently into the night?

As this lifelong ‘blank’ has repeatedly declared: Regardless who wins we are so screwed

With rare exception all politicos suck!
