Yeah, but equally compelling for an old guy with underlying health issues who choose to be double-vaxxed and boosted is the report presented on Chris Hayes MSNBC show today.

As one whose career was based in statistics and data, the report data is disturbing, if credible.

If true, Mark. What is disturbing is that we cannot discern the truth anymore as we have been lied to so many times - and people are dying because of the lies and despite following the Fauci ‘science.’

    Just My Opinion:

In previous calamities Lee, such as Pearl Harbor, the Kennedy assassination, and 911, while the American people were confused, angry, and perhaps frightened, in real time, they were never significantly divided. In those instances, there was never a real question that America was wronged by an easily identified criminality, and the nation faithfully rallied around the national leadership until the threat(s) were contained.

In contrast, the Covid pandemic lacks such clearly acknowledged criminality. While strong, well-informed scientific suspicions have pointed, and continue to point, to the possibility that Covid was resultant of a bio-weapon, perhaps deliberately unleashed upon the world by a tyrannical Marxist power, our own government vehement denied such a possibility, and did so with arrogant utterances overly protective of a less-than-transparent hostile regime, which coincidentally seemed to singularly benefit from the plague.

It is also troubling that from the ruling American government's point of view, the Covid pandemic appears to be a war without defined scope. To the existent powers, Covid it would seem, appears to be an ongoing, never ending war which faithfully requires the attendance of heavy-handed government control, relies on select, untested weaponry to the exclusion of more tested, reliable guns, and lacks a clear definition of termination.

More concerning, is it a mere coincidence that in America, the Covid danger exists concurrently with what appears to be the unmistakable stench of Marxist revolution in the air; a national odor which suspiciously emanates the philosophies of the exact same tyrannical power from which the health danger emerged, and was then circulated throughout the world?

Do not the confiscations of personal freedoms in general, free speech in particular, whether by corporatists indirectly, or by persuasive government suggestions lend support to the revolution theory?

Is it not obvious that those Americans who seek to ask questions, or who would otherwise challenge the government's Covid narrative and mandates, are met with the threats of censorship, public humiliation, economic and vocational sanction, and perhaps criminal prosecution; all the earmarks of Marxist/Socialist dictatorship?

While Bret Baier's report lent some clarity to some questions, it was very troubling to actually hear confirmation of the long-suspected.

In the previous calamities specified above, while hard questions were asked, and somewhat dutifully evaded, those asking the questions, or standing defiantly against the answers, were never significantly censored with threats of public humiliation, economic and vocational sanction, and perhaps criminal prosecution.

It should be noted that while the government in past circumstances, historically provided explanations that were significantly evasive, closure was seemingly reached in such a way as to substantially honor national unity, and to permit the nation to move on to meet the challenges of the future.

Methinks that is not going to happen with the events of 2020-2022...

    Another useless poll

As reported in the Hill today:

A survey conducted by Marquette Law School, in two hypothetical head-to-head matchups for the 2024 presidential election found that 43 percent of adults nationwide would support Biden if the 2024 presidential election were held today, while 33 percent would vote for Trump in a one-on-one match-up. Sixteen percent said they would choose a different candidate, while 6 percent said they would not vote.

In a hypothetical race against DeSantis, however, Biden polls slightly worse: 41 percent of adults nationwide said they would throw their support behind Biden, while 33 percent would support DeSantis.

Only 29 percent of those polled said they want to see Trump run for president again in 2024, while 71 percent said they did not want to see him seek a second term.

    Comment

After today’s expose on Biden’s cover-up on illegal migrant transfer to New York, and Biden’s alleged SCOTUS racial preference bias, the poll numbers could be different.

Border crisis: Do Democrats really care

Does Biden care about the colossal impact on American lives regarding the release of tens of thousands of illegals into our country and the adverse impacts from Covid, drugs, crime, and American treasure spent on health and education programs?

Truth in today’s media reporting: you be the judge

Should America be more invested in protecting the border of a country not a member of NATO when America has a border crisis its government seems uninterested in controlling? When said country to be attacked is telling our president to cool the invasion rhetoric.

    An independent voter’s dilemma

What to do when you are a white, lifelong moderate, unaffiliated registered voter who dislikes Trump for myriad personal faults but has come to equally dislike Biden for his failed promises and a faction of the leftwing Democratic Party who pillories, stereotypes, and labels him incorrectly in the most offensive ways should he dare voice an opposing opinion / viewpoint.

Trump is not our president. The leftwing media spends half its coverage telling us why he should not be considered for the presidency in 2024. What is disconcerting is that the mainstream media will not commit to covering Biden like they did (and still do) Trump, instead covering up for Biden and his failed policies.

The campaigning Biden professing to be a ‘moderate’ has governed anything but, is underwater in every poll regarding the economy, inflation, the handling of the virus, Afghanistan, the border crisis, immigration, and supply shortages. Yet Biden denies any of the aforementioned is his fault; and when declaring he doesn’t listen to the polls, he is admitting he is out of touch with the American people.

Perhaps you should listen to the American people Mr. Biden when they are telling you they are not interested in your political agenda change to a socialist-Marxist one where illegals have same rights as American citizens, may soon earn the right to vote, and where it is too much to ask American citizens to provide voter identification.

Mr. Biden, those deals and promises you made to get elected are now playing out and are now being exposed with all the ‘leaking’ taking place.

No Trump, no Biden, no Harris in 2024. We are so screwed!

Agree, but I would include Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama on that list.

Why is it that the Left does not mention Tulsi Gabbard?

Why is it that the Right does not enthusiastically mention DeSantis or Rand Paul?

    Comment:

Both parties suck, and seem to only advance their respective brand of Globalist shills, and yea, in light of his handling of Fauci and Esper, that includes Trump.

    Unbreaking America: Divided we fall

A video presentation from December 2019. Speaks for itself. Spot on!

America is beginning to finally wake up to the BS! As we watch the consequences of failed policies and the surging crime with our very eyes, the politicos and media are shamelessly at work covering up / suppressing the resulting damage.

Unity, compromise. tolerance, inclusiveness, compassion, truth in today’s politics for America’s best interest? I think not.

On the surface, this video makes a seemingly honest plea, but, dig a little deeper and you’ll find that “Josh” and his parent organization “Represent Us” advocates for automatic voting, which allows anyone who has a state ID, including a simple driver’s license, automatically eligible to vote “from home” whatever mechanism that utilizes isn’t clear. Look further and you’ll find that they support various voting rights bills that all mimic the unconstitutional pandemic voting changes that gave us the mess we are left with from 2020. This video was dressed up with a popular celebrity saying popular things, but, underneath it all is a cunning attempt to rally the lesser parties together under the guise of reform. They promise a better way to govern and make great points that SHOULD be enacted, but there’s a fatal flaw in their loose voting policies - this will no doubt be a vehicle for continued voter fraud and more of the same manipulated mess we had in our 2020 election.

We can’t move forward without fixing our degressive election process. The answer isn’t looser voting policies - the lesson we should have learned by now is that we need a TIGHTER control on our constitutional right of a fair and free election. Besides ridding the process of foreign and corporate money, we must demand one vote per living American citizen. Voter ID that certifies citizenship is the only way forward.

National debt hits 30 trillion, economists sound alarm

Covid, reckless government spending, fee stuff, billions spent on illegal immigrants, failed socialist-Marxist policies take their toll!

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...?ocid=msedgntp

The national debt surpassed $30 trillion for the first time Tuesday, fueled in part by the coronavirus pandemic and what economists describe as years of unsustainable government spending that could have long-term consequences for every American.

“It does not make sense as a society to simply spend more than we take in on a permanent and growing basis,” said Michael A. Peterson, the group’s chief executive officer. “What that essentially does is place the burden onto our future and onto the next generation.” A $30 trillion debt amounts to about $90,000 per American. Net interest costs on the debt average $1 billion per day or roughly $2,600 per household this year.

The COVID spending under both the Biden and Trump administrations accelerated the nation’s financial problems, “but those trends were existing well before the pandemic,” Peterson said. Borrowing for the pandemic made sense, MacGuineas said, “but now is the time to change course and gradually return to a fiscally responsible trajectory.”

“It’s immoral for us to continue on this path with such disregard for our kids."

Why are Americans distrusting Biden, the Democrats, and leftwing media?

The Biden administration and the leftwing media have gone on a tear to pump up all the good that has been accomplished under Biden in his first year in office. Biden went as far as to claim his administration accomplished more in its first year in office than any other preceding administration.

Yet this Gallup poll and others reveal 70% of Americans are not buying what he and his cover-up media friends are selling. Biden declares he doesn’t believe in the polls. Maybe he should.

    STORY HIGHLIGHTS

    • Satisfaction with societal aspects and policy areas remains low
    • Greatest decline in past year is in satisfaction with energy policies
    • Only meaningful increase since 2020 is satisfaction with LGBT acceptance

    OTHER

In another Gallup poll conducted today only 17% of Americans approve of the country's direction.

And the job market review is due Friday, the news is fresh about the Covid lockdowns being only 0.2% effective in reducing virus impact while the collateral societal and economical damage was monumental, and where the claptrap backtracking by the leftwing Democrats and media on crime, illegal immigration, and attack on free speech is appalling. Calling Americans who dare to express an opposing opinion domestic terrorist, racist, deplorables, xenophobes, sexists, etc. is equally appalling.

I guess the Trump Deep State appointee Christopher Wray, with the help of his CNN propaganda machine, was too busy directing a paramilitary operation to secure the arrest of the "deadly desperado" Roger Stone, than to have previously understood the full scope of China's espionage threat, eh?

Overhaul of Electoral Count Act will pass says Manchin

Tired of hearing of Trump’s charge of election stealing? Yeah, me too. However, steps need to be taken to ensure election fraud doesn’t occur, because it does.

The Electoral Count Act on the surface does sound fair. The Voting Right’s Bill of 2022 would sound more assuring if valid / legal voter identification were required. Citizenship should be a requirement.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...?ocid=msedgntp

WASHINGTON — Two senators working on an overhaul of the little-known law that former President Donald J. Trump and his allies tried to use to overturn the 2020 election pledged on Sunday that their legislation would pass the Senate, saying that recent revelations about the plot made their work even more important.

In a joint interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Senators Joe Manchin III, Democrat of West Virginia, and Lisa Murkowski, Republican of Alaska, said their efforts to rewrite the Electoral Count Act of 1887 were gaining broader support in the Senate, with as many as 20 senators taking part in the discussions.

“Absolutely, it will pass,” Mr. Manchin said of an overhaul of the law, which dictates how Congress formalizes elections. He said efforts by Mr. Trump and his allies to exploit “ambiguity” in the law were “what caused the insurrection” — the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. That misreading of the statute led to a plan by Mr. Trump and his allies to amass a crowd outside the Capitol to try to pressure Congress and Vice President Mike Pence, who presided over Congress’s official count of electoral votes, to overturn the results of the election.
