CNN fact checking Biden, I’m shocked!

    https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/27/polit...ent/index.html

Is it any wonder the Dems keep him locked in the basement or on a short leash?

Now there’s two of them seeking the presidency that should learn when to keep their mouths shut.

I would like to hear Biden’s take on CHOP and the following report published today:

Protesters aren’t all on the same page, adding to the complexity of ending the occupation. One community organizer, who asked not to be identified, said she had hoped the protesters would sit down with the mayor and negotiate a compromise. She expressed sympathy for the businesses. “I am not an advocate of anyone taking over anyone else’s property,” she said.

But other organizers say they aren’t interested in any meetings. “Let it be clear: We will not be bought off,” Naudia “Nas” Miller, representative of a group called the Black Collective Voice, said in a statement. “We are here to dismantle systemic racism.”

Or, the co-founder of BLM declaring that if their demands are not met the system would be burned down.

Biden’s take on the mob rule, carnage and destruction costs related to this ‘peaceful protest’. Spent a great deal of time watching the destruction that has taken place – that is, on other media outlets who are not so reluctant to cover the devastation – even going so far as to call it a love fest.

Then again, why should Biden say anything. Ahead in the polls by double digits, his camp and liberal mainstream media all it can to demonize Trump, why should he offer any aid until the ship of state has sunk beyond repair. Keep the economy at bay with the Covid crisis, more stimulus checks to tide the gap to election, and blame Trump for people not going back to work and losing their insurance.

And, WTF are the politicos who are aiding and abetting this ‘mob rule’ thinking before they restore law and order? Police reform, indeed! Anarchy on the streets in the guise of ‘peaceful protest’, unacceptable!

    We are so screwed!

The George Floyd tragedy was a murder period, and the troubling video appears to prove just that.

My perception of the murder is that it was so heinous, and the demeanor of Chauvin was so surreal, that I have been, and remain, open to the possibility that murder aspects of the engagement may have arisen for reasons other than a routine police investigation. The idea(s) of either a historic personal animus between Floyd and Chauvin, or another motivational curiosity of their joint personages, has in fact occurred to me as a possible evil provocation. It is for that reason that I am reluctant to generally condemn institutionalized police practices, philosophies, and procedures. I am more inclined to focus on the criminal behavior of the bad actor(s).

As such, if your ideas of reform include a critical and remedial focus on the role that police unions play in the purging departments of individual bad cops, I agree 100%. Personally, I would like such remediation to be extend into the world of education.

Perhaps such corrective measures in both areas, could include a form of peer review? It seems to me that good policemen and teachers simply do not want to be painted with one broad brush and be stained with the dark colors of corruption and the evil of the bad apples.

    Just my two cents.

Defunding police to build stronger social services in communities

    https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com...in-communities

“What would our society be like if someone could dial, say, 811 for an emergency social worker, an on-call psychiatrist, a 24-hour daycare, a dispute resolution office for neighborhood conflicts, a take-what-you-need food bank, or safety patrols to escort nighttime commuters from the bus stop or train station?”

Concepts suggested by a Harvard law professor and an associate professor in the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State.

    Nice? Indeed!
    Realistic? Not very!
    The future? Shudder!

I know someone in the social work/psychology field rather well. If this person has a well-grounded skeptical edge devoid of Utopian, feel-good horseshlt, that edge is reserved for its interactions with me, because if left to its own philosophies and interventions, a criminal element would eat its breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bed time snack.

    "Shudder," indeed!

(BTW, it is my understanding that social workers, counselors, and physiologists generally play an interventionist role in situations holding the potential for violence; they are not the primary responders, and commonly do not unilaterally react to a scene of a crime or ongoing criminal activity.

To task such singular personnel to resolution duties involving fulfilled or ongoing violent crime, would be inappropriate to their current training and competence, just my understanding.)

    FYI:

I received this from Rasmussen this afternoon...

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey shows that only 29% of American Adults believe it’s a good thing that many police officers belong to public employee unions. Just as many (30%) say it’s a bad thing. Nineteen percent (19%) say police unions have no impact, while a sizable 22% are not sure.

    Stupid is as stupid does

    Defunding police

    https://youtu.be/urk1t2Zmebs
    Listen to first 6 minutes.

    Buffalo

There now have been at least 37 shooting victims across the city of Buffalo this June, with seven of those shootings fatal, according to police data. Four people were struck by gunfire in three separate incidents late Saturday night and Sunday morning, according to police.

In the past week, at least 17 people have been shot and wounded citywide.

    Chicago

Chicago faced another bloody weekend, with at least 13 people killed in shootings – including a 1-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl, prompting new fears about a violent summer ahead.

A recent spate of shootings in Chicago and other cities has had officials on edge. Experts said non-suicidal gun deaths are on track to top last year, as America deals with a rebound in the coronavirus pandemic, nationwide protests against racial injustice and deeper political divisions in a presidential election year.

And, in New York we have de Blasio da Clueless:

    https://nypost.com/2020/06/27/de-bla...vable-goodwin/

And some of our esteemed politicians support dismantling / defunding police departments during this time of anarchy and property destruction. There are some bad cops and reform and accountability is essential, but reform not so radical to cause police protection disruption.

    This is the new norm?

    We are so screwed!

Dr. Fauci today said that a new virus is circulating within the Chinese swine population which has the earmarks of the 1918 Spanish Flu Virus.

Pope Fauci says that there is no current evidence that this virus is transmittable to humans. That of course was the initial holding of scientists regarding Covid-19.

    https://metro.co.uk/…/dr-fauci-compa...-1918-…/

After hearing Pope Fauci's comments before a Senate committee today, I recalled hearing back in the late 1990s or so that an expedition uncovered frozen bodies in Alaska that still contained the live Spanish Flu virus of 1918.

Since Google can be my friend, I did a little research and came up with the 2005 article confirming my recollection. This article is curious in many ways, especially these comments:

"In a joint statement today, the directors of the CDC and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), Dr. Julie Gerberding and Dr. ANTHONY FAUCI, said, "For the first time, researchers have deciphered the entire gene sequence of the 1918 virus and have used sophisticated techniques to assemble viruses that bear some or all of these genes so their effects can be understood."

I wonder why the press does not show much interest in Dr. Fauci's previous work and interests?

Does the current American condition not only indicate a national crisis, but perhaps suggest issues of Biblical prophecy?

"Jesus said to His disciples: ‘…you will be handed over to be persecuted…put to death, and…hated by all nations because of Me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.’" (Matthew 24:9–12 NIV)

I thought that the call(s) to "Defund The Police," was a Black Lives Matter reaction to the murder of George Floyd?

Perhaps this comment from Mayor de Blasio reflects the real reason for the demand?

“We’re acting on that call for justice. I believe it is our mission to redistribute resources to those who need them the most,” the mayor said. “This is real redistribution.”
    Reference: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ale...funding-police

Also, was not NY SAFE resultant from the Sandy Hook school massacre?

    Reference: https://www.nationalreview.com/2013/...les-c-w-cooke/

If such was the real motivation for NY SAFE, are these not curious comments from AOC?...

“Defunding police means defunding police. It does not mean budget tricks or funny math. It does not mean moving school police officers from the NYPD budget to the Department of Education’s budget so the exact same police remain in schools,” the congresswoman said in a statement.
    Reference: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ale...funding-police

Are there not significant contradictions present in the reactions to the George Floyd murder?

Contradictions, Mark, or simply tripping over their tongues with out right lies, practiced by both political parties and their supporting media outlets to demean and discredit each other to advance their political agendas and interests? While unashamedly practicing such policies they polarize our country and diminish it’s values and credibility at home and abroad - with unfounded allegations / speculation, leaked classified information and failure to govern to address the myriad issues that plague the country, rather blaming each other for every problem / setback.

From the lunacy of a president setting a bad example not wearing a mask (or suggesting its beneficial use, to the pandemic itself, anarchy in the streets, the mob, destruction of symbols of American history by thugs not knowing basic history, defunding the police when crime is skyrocketing, illegal autonomous zones, rewriting history, etc., haven’t we endured enough?

And now we have to choose a president where the one will lead to four more years of this chaotic crap from his opposition, or a ‘new world’ Marxist styled socialist government that has too often failed in other countries.

    Had enough? I have!

    We are so screwed!

    Well said Lee.

After the first half of 2020, I hope to God that Trump's 2016 voters are a second-half team mirroring the Bills of the 1993 Houston playoff miracle game.

You will note that I referred to "Trump's 2016 voters," and not "Trump."

Wouldn't it be a real hoot if BLM picketed you, Mark Blazejewski?

You'd sure have it coming! LOL They have been noted in a lot of media reports doing just that, lately.

This post alone sure demonstrates the spirit of filth and nauseating lies you are pushing out there.

If you read your posts you can see all the repulsiveness, and over and over and over. LOL, maybe they do read this stuff. Seems like your posts here, and even worse your pals at Make NY Red group on Facebook and all the loathsome racism and revolting posts by your pals there, heck they might even see you as far game. There aren't many places in our community for this kind of hate speech, ya know like Had Enough Yet: Amoral, nasty, revolting, abhorrent to say the least. "Woe is me," white male grievance day in and day out. "Happy Independence Day, but I'm still miserable even though I live in the lap of luxury, the American Dream, the kind of quant suburbia most people would give anything to have, but I've been left behind." Boo hoo!

Ya think BLM has a suggestion box somewhere?

    LOL

Oh, and pretty much all media reports say Antifa had zero involvement in the uproar around the country; sure, some people probably linked to that group showed up, but absent in any group form, just another lie by the Trump folks and Pizzagate nuts. But wait, since you are obsessive about the evil of Antifa, does that mean you are pro Fascist?

    Wouldn't surprise me.

Wow, my post asked six questions. I guess thinking and asking questions are no substitute for remaining quiet and absorbing the pearls of your wisdom, eh "Bobby?"

Your comments appear kind of threatening. What say you WNY Res?

I hope you are not supporting any candidates in local Lancaster races this fall, because the people of Lancaster simply do not want any street or home in the town or village targeted for chaos. Ergo, any candidate that you chose to publicly support will be linked to your words, your anonymous persona notwithstanding.

Do you want me to kneel before you now?

    From Victor David Hanson:

"If Trump repeats vocabulary, Biden increasingly searches for words, any noun, whatever its irrelevance to the point he is making. Biden seems to suffer dyscognitive seizures, in which for moments he has no idea what he is doing or saying or where he is — a tragic, nearly epileptic condition. In scary episodes, the pale, scaly, and frozen visage of Biden appears almost reptilian, like a lizard freezing and remaining stationary as it struggles to process signals of perceived danger."
