Last night I attended a GOP meeting for the first time in my area. We had a guest speaker, Congressman Pete Sessions from Texas. His message was very simple, we need to get up from our couches and go out and start participating in our school board meetings, local town council meetings, and start attending your committee meetings to see where you can help out. His message was clear, 2022 election is critical.

Congressman Sessions did have news that is promising, states are making headway in securing our electoral process and making sure that our 2024 election is secure for the Presidential year.

His report on Biden's first 100 days however was a sober one. Biden has secured Denver Texas fully run by socialist Democrat's. He has placed migrants from South Africa, just like how Obama put Yemen's in Minnesota, in Denver. His intent is to ensure Democratic leadership.

His report on the border is somber as well, he feels that Biden/Harris has no intentions to address the crisis or to visit the border as it would allow them to accept responsibility.

He did not touch on Antifa/BLM at all. He did not touch on the ransom paid out to the terrorist regarding the pipeline.

So in conclusion, he emphasized all hands on deck.

Biden’s border lies were aptly covered today by the Five on FOX. Biden denies there is a border crisis. The Washington Post today supported Biden’s claim, as well as the left mainstream media. It is but one example of the liberal mainstream media covering for Biden while focusing on Trump the demon, the January 6th ‘insurgency, dissention within the Republican Party, and ignoring anything that puts Biden in a bad light.

There is no border crisis for the left, it is an opportunity to gain future voters. Inflation, duh! The free stuff programs adversely impacting a labor shortage, duh!

You can only cover so much hypocrisy at one time. Biden the ‘moderate’, what a joke! It is surprising to see him reluctantly pushing back against the radical left Democratic Congressional wing on some wacko proposal. It is appalling to see how the left felt free to attack Trump for four years openly calling him the liar-in-chief, daring to call him much more than that, giving him no credit for anything, but freak out when anyone dares to dispute one of Biden's gaffes, lies, exaggerations, faux pas'.

    Elections have consequences. HELLO!

With rare exception all politicos suck and we pay the price!

Mixed messages on Biden’s decisions and direction

The liberal mainstream media loves Biden and reports that the country is solidly behind him. To detract from much of what’s taking place in the world and to protect Uncle Joe the mainstream media’s focus was on the Liz Cheney debacle, the January 6th insurrection, 1619 racism birth, and Intercept cancelling journalists by defaming them for covering BLM / Antifa riots. The mainstream media and the left unashamedly report / support identifying anyone that voted for or speaks favorably of Trump as racist. All whites are inherently racist, must come to terms with that and apologize. Only white supremacists are terrorists. Yeah, that will bring us all together.

FOX’S Jesse Watters this evening presented a different perspective on Biden's insight and decision-making acuity.

I don't know Lee, this is the upside down world that we live in now. I look at the hypocrisy and the ideology of wokism and I just shake my head. I wonder when the nightmare will be over LOL...

My thoughts do wander to Deblasio's new PR on getting vaccinated, eating french fries as an incentive to get vaccinated is bizarre at best. I reflect on the health advisors suggestions about eating properly, weight control and get exercise as part of our daily regime to help mitigate getting Covid. Incentivizing those to get the jab by eating fries is simply ignorant. Who voted these jokers into office

The people who voted jokers like Cuomo, de Blasio, Schumer, and AOC into office are those who read mainstream media reports like the New York Times presented on a utopian (but decadent) New York without the wealthy to tax and foot the bill.

Good times are coming, Shortstuff. We don’t need those stinking rich to pay for it. New York has Uncle Joe to bail them out.

New York Is Dead. Long Live New York.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/15/s...ty-future.html

While some New Yorkers won’t mourn the loss of hedge funders feasting on larded squab at the Grill, tax filers who earn more than $1 million a year account for 40 percent of the city’s personal income tax revenue, according to Andrew Rein, the president of the Citizens Budget Commission, a nonpartisan watchdog group, in an interview. “We need wealthy New Yorkers here because they pay for a significant amount of city services,” Mr. Rein said.

To make up for the loss, the city may end up raising taxes again. “This can start the spiral of death,” said Nicholas A. Bloom, an economics professor at Stanford University who studies urban finance. “Taxes go up, rich people leave. Taxes go up more, more rich people leave.”

And the city’s progressives see a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to push their agenda.

Her party’s vision? Universal child care, canceling unpaid rent and foreclosures, and building safe, affordable housing for all, among other ambitions. “The city can serve as a progressive beacon,” Ms. Nnaemeka said. “We’re already considered a capital in so many senses of the word — financial, artistic. Now it can be the capital of equity and inclusion.”

No surprise who will foot the bill: the rich. And if spiraling taxes inspire them to take their Gulfstream south, so be it.

So maybe it’s time for New Yorkers to take heart, and let all those who fled to Florida worry about rising sea levels.

    No surprise there

In the Washington Examiner, By Carly Roman May 18 "Voting machines across Pennsylvania county not accepting Republican ballots in local races" reports some voting machines in Fayette County, Pennsylvania were rejecting ballots as residents headed to the polls on Tuesday to vote on several local races, according to a new report."

"that several precincts were having difficulty scanning bar codes on some Republican ballots were not accepted."

Lee, the machines accepted the Democrat scanning bar codes only, this is a prelude to the 2022 & 2024 elections. VERY SCARY!!! We need to get our heads out of the sand and pay attention..

What is scarier to me Shortstuff is what is happening to this country under the socialists control over Biden. His foreign policy is weak and his support of national policies threaten free speech, favor illegal immigration policies that threaten our security / health / resources, and most importantly policies and programs that weaken our law & order security policies.

Biden’s warning to Israel shakes up diplomacy — and politics.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world...?ocid=msedgntp

“Biden is calling for Israel to de-escalate while the terrorist group Hamas is still firing rockets at Israeli citizens,” former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley tweeted. “It would be unacceptable if one of our allies called for de-escalation if Washington DC were targeted by rockets.”

Haley, who served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under Trump and is seen as a potential presidential candidate, added, “We must stand with Israel against terrorism.”

Meanwhile, a group of Republican senators held a news conference accusing Biden of bowing to pressure from his party’s left wing and working against a longtime U.S. ally.

“Today he said he expects a significant de-escalation from Israel,” said Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.). “What he needs to say is that he expects Iran and Hamas to stop terrorizing the people of Israel.”

Biden’s new demands of Israel come after he has found himself increasingly at odds with fellow Democrats over his previous unwavering public support for Israel.

It should also be noted that an emboldened Iran is helping to wreak havoc in Israel.

Murder victim’s mother reacts after Dems oppose gang member’s deportation.

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other House Democrats call it 'discriminatory' to target criminals, including some who are felons.

I didn’t think I would live to see the day when such appalling, illogical nonsense was reported, much less supported by anyone.

Scary times indeed. But everyone loves good old affable Uncle Joe and his free stuff, His misspoken words, exaggerations, outright lies are only gaffs, not to be taken seriously, says the fawning mainstream media.

Biden has a rather curious history regarding Israel...

In 1973, 30-year-old freshman senator Joe Biden made his first overseas trip to Egypt and Israel. This week, an Israeli historian revealed Biden had passed on disinformation to then-Israeli prime minister Golda Meir, telling her Egypt believed it would be impossible to go to war with Israel — contributing to an Israeli consensus that would end up costing the Jewish state dearly when its neighboring foe caught it unawares a little more than a month later and attacked.

Wait! What, Biden didn’t mediate the Israeli – Palestinian cease fire?

Iran, Palestinian partnership? What does this say for Biden’s Iran relationship / foreign policy strategy? What does the 'Squad' have to say about this? Send Iran another $150 billion?

    Woke liberal racism, I’m shocked!

It took a Democrat to tell me that there are other racists beside the stereotyped white inbred racist who most likely is a Trump supporter, most likely a Republican, and one who dares to express an opinion contrary to the ‘woke’ crowd.

Tulsi Gabbard takes a stand against woke liberal racism

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...?ocid=msedgntp

Tulsi Gabbard’s time in Congress may have come to an end, but the Hawaii Democrat continues to serve as a valuable liberal voice willing to critique her own side. The former congresswoman’s latest bold stance came on Friday when she called out a prominent elected Democrat whose addiction to identity politics had gone so far as to become openly racist.

“Mayor Lightfoot's blatant anti-white racism is abhorrent,” she tweeted. “I call upon President Biden, Kamala Harris, and other leaders of our country—of all races—to join me in calling for Mayor Lightfoot's resignation. Our leaders must condemn all racism, including anti-white.”

Is it also possible that Ilhan Omar's and AOC'S open support for the Palestinians and vitriolic rhetoric against Israel could be considered 'inciting' the anti Jew hate mob?

    As the stomach turns

White House officials have long said they wanted to give priority to domestic issues to ensure the country is strong enough to lead overseas. A former U.S. official with close contact to the administration said that the calculation was to put a hold on intensive global engagement until the administration could bolster the economy and address the pandemic.

And the mainstream media is quick to assure us Biden’s progressive agenda (not socialist) is being well received by most country voters. Well, not everyone agrees that all is well.

It took Trump four and a half years to deliver, but his observation "Jimmy Carter mishandled crisis after crisis, but Biden has created crisis after crisis" is finally an acerbic comment worthy of Presidential enshrinement.

Will Americans be prepared for the clean energy transition?

Will future seniors on social security with little savings / individuals on fixed incomes / low wage earners be prepared for the future clean energy transition?

Will future government subsidies / reductions in clean energy manufacture processes, and reduced sale price provide for the less well-off? Biden’s climate policy is intended to serve racial “equity” by improving urban air quality. At what cost and what benefit?

Biden’s EV tax credits redistribute wealth … upward.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...wealth-upward/

There are tax credits of up to $7,500 for EV purchasers, until a manufacturer sells 200,000. GM and Tesla have reached this cap. GM wants the tax credit restored and made permanent. Internal Revenue Service data for 2014 showed that the biggest beneficiaries were households with adjusted gross income of at least $100,000. One percent went to households earning less than $50,000. States, too, have joined the market manipulation. In California, where about 47 percent of EVs are sold, buyers can gain up to $15,000. That such subsidies “work” is shown by what happens when they end: In 2015, when Georgia ended its $5,000 state tax credit, EV sales plummeted 89 percent in two months.

For reasons unrelated to climate change — including cost and convenience — the future of EVs probably would be bright even without government midwifery. Perhaps, however, these should be called “19.3 percent coal cars,” that being the percentage of U.S. electricity generated by coal. Furthermore, Bjorn Lomborg, a climate writer, notes, EVs require large batteries that “are often produced in China using coal power. According to the [International Energy Agency], just producing the battery for an electric car can emit almost a quarter as much of the greenhouse gases that a gasoline car will emit across its entire lifetime.”
