In God we trust, attorneys not so much

Supposedly written by an attorney who chooses not to be identified – for good reason. Regardless, interesting.

    Bottom Feeders

As an attorney, I hesitated to forward this as it can be considered to be an indictment against my profession. But I believe there is much truth to the article below. Very thought provoking. Lawyers are adversarial and are trained to try to win at all costs. It may work in litigation but does not work well when governing our nation. Trying to win at any costs creates the polarization and hatred that now fills our country and leaves no room for common sense or legitimate debate.

Every Democrat presidential nominee since 1984 went to law school, although Gore did not graduate. Joe Biden (no surprise) was at the bottom of his class. Every Democrat vice presidential nominee since 1976, except for Lloyd Bentsen, went to law school. Barack Obama was a lawyer. Michelle Obama was a lawyer. Hillary Clinton was a lawyer. Bill Clinton was a lawyer. John Edwards is a lawyer. Elizabeth Edwards was a lawyer. Look at leaders of the Democrat Party in Congress: Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer is a lawyer. Former Senator Harry Reid was a lawyer.

The Republican Party is different. President Trump was a businessperson. Presidents Bush 1 and 2 were businesspeople. Vice President Cheney was a businessperson. President Eisenhower was a 5 star General. The leaders of the Republican Revolution: Newt Gingrich was a history professor. Tom Delay was an exterminator. Dick Armey was an economist. Ex-House Minority Leader John Boehner was a plastics manufacturer. The former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist is a heart surgeon. Who was the last Republican president who was a lawyer? Gerald Ford, who left office 31 years ago and who barely won the Republican nomination as a sitting president, running against actor Ronald Reagan in 1976. The Republican Party is made up of real people doing real work, who are often the targets of lawyers. This is interesting. I had never thought about it this way before.

The Democrat Party is made up of lawyers. Democrats mock and scorn men who create wealth, like Trump, Bush, and Cheney, or who heal the sick like Frist, or who immerse themselves in history like Gingrich. The Lawyers Party sees these sorts of people, who provide goods and services that people want, as the enemies of America. And so, in the eyes of the Lawyers Party, we have seen the procession of official enemies grow. Against whom do Hillary and Obama rail? Pharmaceutical companies, oil companies, hospitals, manufacturers, fast food restaurant chains, large retail businesses, bankers, and anyone producing anything of value in our nation.

This is the natural consequence of viewing everything through the eyes of lawyers. Lawyers solve problems by successfully representing their clients, which, in this case should be the American people. Lawyers seek to have new laws passed, they seek to win lawsuits, they press appellate courts to overturn precedent, and lawyers always parse language to favor their side. Confined to the narrow practice of law, which is fine. But it is an awful way to govern a great nation.

When politicians, as lawyers, begin to view some Americans as clients and other Americans as opposing parties, then the role of the legal system in our life becomes all-consuming. Some Americans become adverse parties of our very government. We are not all litigants in some vast social class-action suit. We are citizens of a republic that promises us a great deal of freedom from laws, from courts, and from lawyers.

Today, we are drowning in laws. We are contorted by judicial decisions. We are driven to distraction by omnipresent lawyers in all parts of our once private lives. America has a place for laws and lawyers, but that place is modest and reasonable, not vast, and unchecked. When the most crucial decision for our next president is whom he will appoint to the Supreme Court, the role of lawyers and the law in America is too big. When House Democrats sue America in order to hamstring our efforts to learn what our enemies are planning to do to us, then the role of litigation in America has become crushing.

Perhaps Americans will understand that change cannot be brought to our nation by those lawyers who already largely dictate American society and business. Perhaps Americans will see that hope does not come from the mouths of lawyers but from personal dreams nourished by demanding work. Perhaps Americans will embrace the truth that more lawyers with more power will only make our problems worse.

The United States has 5% of the world's population and 66% of the world's lawyers! Tort or legal reform legislation has been introduced in congress several times in the last several years to limit punitive damages in ridiculous lawsuits such as spilling hot coffee on yourself and suing the establishment that sold it to you and to limit punitive damages in huge medical malpractice lawsuits. This legislation has been blocked from even being voted on by the Democrat Party. When you see that 97% of the political contributions from the American Trial Lawyers Association go to the Democrat Party, then you realize who is responsible for our medical and product costs being so high.

Polls and pundits and propaganda, oh my

A USA Today report declares that democrats are falling across the board, and it appears a red wave is coming on election day. It then spends time reporting how unreliable pols are and reasons why.

As many voters, I am not enamored with either Trump or Biden. But these are the midterm elections, and my vote will be based on how my family is faring in today’s economy, their safety, and the real threat to their democracy and freedom of speech.

What a candidate says and promises at election time, manipulated media propaganda, or a celebrity too often voicing an opinion under the influence of substance abuse or hubris too often leads to a bad outcome.

Like many, my vote will be based on $6.50 for an18 carton of eggs, $3.65 for a gallon of gas, escalating energy costs, surging crime, the billions of dollars spent on a war and border crisis, and inept and dysfunctional politicos who act in their best interest over that of the voter who put them in office.

Democrats are failing across the board. All signs point to a red wave on Election Day.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opini...00783be6d6229f

In 2016, I thought Hillary Clinton would win the presidency until late on election night. I was on live TV when Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin began to tilt red, and the shock became visible on the faces of the anchors and the crew in the studio. A Donald Trump victory wasn't in the script. In my defense, few in the chattering classes foresaw as Election Day approached what voters were about to wrought. Ever since, I've declined to make predictions about who will or won't win an election. And I don't really trust anyone who claims they can forecast with any certainty what voters will decide in a midterm or presidential election.

The writer then focuses on the following:

    • Joe Biden is unpopular. Biden's poll numbers drag down Democratic candidates.

    • Do political debates even matter? Political debates are overrated.

    • Inflation remains out of control.

    • Interest rates also are soaring.

    • Crime is on the rise.

    • Economic issues overshadow abortion rights.

    • Polls may underestimate Republican support. Republican women are finally on the rise:

    • The party in power pays.

History, the economy and other trends are working against Democrats. Will that result in a surging red tide come November? Probably. But I don't make predictions.

    Comment

Agree with Tim Swarens USA TODAY column regarding Trump.

Republicans must move past Trump for sake of the party's future – and the nation's

America needs to purge Donald Trump from our system. But for that to happen, Republicans must first purge Trump from the party's leadership.

Lights go out in Ukraine as Russia launches "massive" strike

The carnage continues, Ukrainians suffer unbearable hardship, and world leaders play political chess.

Russian-installed authorities order evacuation of Kherson

    https://abcnews.go.com/International...%203%3A40%20AM

Russian-installed authorities have ordered all residents of the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson to leave immediately ahead of an expected Ukrainian advance.

In a post on the Telegram messaging service, the pro-Kremlin regional administration called on civilians to use boat crossings over a major river to move deeper into Russian-held territory, citing a tense situation on the front and the threat of shelling and alleged “terror attacks” by Kyiv.

On Friday, Ukrainian forces bombarded Russian positions across the province, targeting pro-Kremlin forces' resupply routes across the Dnieper River and inching closer to making a full assault on Kherson city. Ukraine has retaken some villages in the region's north since launching its counteroffensive in late August.

Russian-installed officials were reported as trying desperately to turn Kherson city — a prime objective for both sides because of its key industries and ports — into a fortress while attempting to relocate tens of thousands of residents.

The Kremlin poured as many as 2,000 draftees into the surrounding region to replenish losses and strengthen front-line units, according to the Ukrainian army's general staff.

The Dnieper River figures prominently in the regional battle because it serves multiple critical functions. It provides crossings for supplies, troops and civilians; drinking water for southern Ukraine and the annexed Crimean Peninsula; and power generation from a hydroelectric station. Much of the area, including the power station and a canal feeding water to Crimea, is under Russian control.

Kherson's Kremlin-backed authorities previously announced plans to evacuate all Russia-appointed officials and as many as 60,000 civilians across the river, in what local leader Volodymyr Saldo said would be an “organized, gradual displacement.”

Biden’s border crisis: Existential threat to our security, quality of life, and democracy

Several former border officials vowed to release the number of illegal migrant crossings into the U.S. by Tuesday if the Biden administration hasn't by then.

FOX’s Outnumbered discuss federal funding spent on migrants over that of Americans and homeless in need and funding a drag show in Ecuador.

Former border officials vow to release illegal migrant numbers by Tuesday if Biden admin won't

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/fo...9b7d6e0c400577

Former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Deputy Secretary Ken Cuccinelli, acting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Mark Morgan and acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Tom Homan accused the Biden administration of hiding the number of illegal southwestern border crossings in September.

"Hiding these border numbers just adds to the ways Mayorkas and Magnus are failing to do their job and are turning their backs on the men and women of CBP and Americans to run interference for drug runners and human traffickers. American people deserve the truth. We'll give it to them if the Biden Administration is not capable," Cuccinelli told Fox News Digital in a statement.

"We released border security statistics every month because the American people deserve to know the realities of the complex and vast threats we face from outside our borders. So now, we have the Biden administration that’s not only handed operational control of our southern border to the cartels who are pushing drugs, criminals, and potential terrorists into the U.S., but they continue to lie and cover it up! If they don’t come clean by Tuesday, we will," Morgan said.

"The entire truth about the national security threat they have created on our southern border and in the interior of the U.S. needs to be told," he added.

Ukraine-Russia: The real threat to America’s democracy and existence

While the country is embroiled in several national crises they are detracting from the greater threat to U.S. democracy and its existence, Ukraine global war escalation.

In the past month, while the U.S. and its allies cheered the advances made by Ukraine in regaining territory captured by Russia, it unleashed the madman of Russia in taking military counter measures and issuing more threats of using nukes.

Recent events and media reports evince how dangerous the situation has become:

Russian-installed authorities in Ukraine told all residents of the city of Kherson to leave “immediately” Saturday ahead of an expected advance by Ukrainian troops waging a counteroffensive to recapture one of the first urban areas Russia took after invading the country.

Russia-Ukraine war live: Russia launches 36 rockets in ‘massive attack’; power outages in central and western Ukraine after shelling.

CBS News joined the division's Deputy Commander, Brigadier General John Lubas, and Colonel Edwin Matthaidess, Commander of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, on a Black Hawk helicopter for the hour-long ride to the very edge of NATO territory — only around three miles from Romania's border with Ukraine... The war games so close to that border are a clear message to Russia and to America's NATO allies, that the U.S. Army is here."

Mihail Kogălniceanu, Romania — The U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division has been deployed to Europe for the first time in almost 80 years amid soaring tension between Russia and the American-led NATO military alliance. The light infantry unit, nicknamed the "Screaming Eagles," is trained to deploy on any battlefield in the world within hours, ready to fight.

North and South Korea exchange warning shots along maritime border

Russia’s defense minister, Sergei Shoigu, has told western counterparts that the war in Ukraine is heading for an “uncontrolled escalation” amid evidence that the Kremlin is weighing how to respond to yet another anticipated battlefield defeat around the key southern city of Kherson.

Government purchases Nplate, a medicine intended to treat radiation sickness.

Western officials are engaged in “prudent planning” behind the scenes to prevent chaos and panic in their home countries in the event Russia was to detonate a nuclear bomb in or near Ukraine. Although a nuclear crisis is considered highly unlikely, the insider said officials internationally were re-examining plans to provide emergency support and reassurance to populations fearful of nuclear escalation.

President Biden remarked that America is the closest it has been to nuclear war since the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 – closest we have ever been to Armageddon. The White House tried to dismiss those comments the following day!

.If the shooting starts, even if the U.S. invites it, we are all Americans and need to support our nation and its military. But should not the Washington leadership debate this issue before embarking on such a perilous course?

The top diplomats in France, Britain and the United States, three of Ukraine’s strongest allies, issued a rare joint statement that rejected Russia’s allegation that Kyiv is preparing to use a so-called dirty bomb on its own territory, calling it a pretext Moscow has concocted for escalating the war.

A group of progressive lawmakers urged President Joe Biden to rethink his administration's strategy in Ukraine, writing in a letter on Monday that it is "America’s responsibility to pursue every diplomatic avenue" to reach a ceasefire. “As legislators responsible for the expenditure of tens of billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars in military assistance in the conflict, we believe such involvement in this war also creates a responsibility for the United States to seriously explore all possible avenues, including direct engagement with Russia, to reduce harm and support Ukraine in achieving a peaceful settlement."

At this perilous time s it even possible for America so engrossed in hatred and divisiveness even capable of coming together on anything anymore.

Had enough of the divisiveness and election hype? Yeah, me too!

Tired of the propaganda, lies, hate, blame games by both parties while the country is entangled in lingering inflation, escalating violent crime, a costly and humanitarian open border crisis, the threat of nuclear war, etc., with no real solutions proffered by either side? Yeah, me too!

Ideologues are unabashed activists who would love nothing more than to shove their crazed distortion of reality down your throat. They know that what they are preaching is nonsensical, and they relish the idea of forcing you to conform to it. They want submission, and they’re determined to get it.

There is no such thing as the tolerant Left. How could there be when the people who make up the movement are such insufferable narcissists? The Right led by the ‘Head Narcist’!

The email I recently received well exemplifies why I choose to register as an unaffiliated voter (‘blank’) shortly after registering to vote and have remained a lifelong blank since.

    NOV. 8TH ELECTIONS!

Depending upon what the voting public does, November's election could be a watershed event in American history, or it could be one more lost opportunity — and maybe the last opportunity to stop the slow slide toward socialism.

The Democrat Party continues to find new lows to fall to in its treatment of Americans, ramming through sinister rules, regulations, requirements, and anything else they can — when not actually managing to enact draconian, freedom-stealing, and unconstitutional laws over the objections of the majority — and siding with enemies of Democracy.

George Washington once wrote: "We are either a United people, or we are not. If the former, let us, in all matters of general concern act as a nation, which have national objects to promote, and a national character to support. If we are not, let us no longer act a farce by pretending to it."

More and more it seems President Biden's administration and the Democrats have decided upon the latter. And more and more the spinelessness of Republicans is on display as they fail in their duty to forcefully call out the Democrats.

Obviously, the elites of the two parties have become peas in the same pod and they have chosen a path in opposition to the very people they supposedly serve.
However, if voters elect enough constitutionally minded candidates the political establishment will be turned upside down. Be sure you know who they are. As Samuel Adams said, "The public cannot be too curious concerning the characters of public men."

There are a few that stand out: Bob Good in Virginia, Dan Bishop in North Carolina, Byron Donalds in Florida... and there are some good ones running for Senate seats as well. The Gubernatorial elections this year are likewise important, particularly if you value the 10th Amendment.

No, it won't be enough to overturn the fascist system that's been created over the last 90-plus years. But it will be enough to halt the slide into complete totalitarianism — if those newly elected stay true to their principles.

Voting is an important duty for Americans who value freedom and liberty. Unfortunately, too many have neglected what they can do locally — and who they can elect to prepare to send them to the District of Corruption in time — either by not voting or by taking the easy route and voting for a name they've heard for years or for someone based on the recommendation of friends and relatives. This has put us in the situation we find ourselves.

As you prepare to vote, remember these other words by Adams, "Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual — or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country."

    Yours for the truth,

Not as divided as they wish us to be

The fools on the Hill, the media experts, and the ‘talking heads’ make Americans more divided on issues than perhaps they are. It is difficult to say and more difficult to determine what the voting outcome will be. How many friends and family members are you comfortable sharing intimate political views with today for fear of intimidation, reprisals, or other dire consequence.

Why Americans are concealing their true political beliefs

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opini...2f0ba54b2f0aa5

As the midterm elections quickly approach, Americans across the country are discussing their thoughts on trending policy topics with family, friends and colleagues. Just how truthful they are in those conversations, however, is now a reasonable question to consider. A new study from Populace Insights shines light on how deeply American adults are affected by social pressure to fit in, especially when it comes to hot-button political issues.

The report’s findings suggest that American popular culture, and the desire to fit into it, makes the American people look far more politically extreme than they really are. The study uses a clever methodology to measure agreement with statements that people might feel social pressure to reject, even in a private online survey. Differences between stated and privately held opinions were as high as 14 percentage points among all Americans and soared even higher among certain subgroups.

Perhaps this chilling environment helps explain why trust in American institutions has plummeted in recent years. If our society has created an environment where people do not feel free to share their opinions, the default expectation may now be that everyone is hiding something. It might also explain the rise of political candidates of otherwise questionable experience and ability that have been successful with a simple “say it like it is” campaign strategy.

Despite many articles encouraging people to embrace tribalism and cut out the “others” from our lives, psychologists have found that making friendship contingent on matching political views is not compatible with the strong relationships humans need to flourish. In solid friendships, individuals will have the intimacy needed to share true opinions, which improves the lost art of tolerating disparate views. In this way, we will be able to find common ground and rebuild trust in individuals and institutions that may not act according to our preferred political beliefs.

That is not to say real differences don’t exist between different age cohorts or political parties, because they do. But within the safety of an individual’s mind, almost every issue takes a step away from the accepted view of a self-prescribed tribe: Republicans are less set on overturning Roe v. Wade and have more reservations about turning the internet into a completely unregulated free speech zone. Democrats are less enthusiastic about masking to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and half as likely to think colleges should censor speech.

Although many staunch partisans take a step back from the party line in their heads, their publicly pronounced stances have created an environment where independents, as well as certain racial minorities, are the least comfortable sharing their views in public, according to the study’s key findings. It is telling that one of the smallest differences between public and private opinions among various demographic subgroups comes when asking people if they have avoided saying something they believe for fear of offending someone. Half of Americans recall such an instance in the past year.

Fascism or Communism? I choose neither.

And I believe that outside the fringe wackos on both political parties the vast majority of voters feel the same. Considering Americans today are reluctant to openly share opinions for fear of offending others holding a different opinion and potential consequence, election results will reveal which kitchen table issues affected them profoundly – not the BS propaganda being fed by politicos and their media lackeys.

Which party really exhibits a totalitarian form of government / policies more than the other? Which is really the threat to our democracy? The voters will speak shortly.

'Alternate realities': Democrats and Republicans smear each other as 'fascists.' Is either right?

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...d44a8da2ba6d27

President Joe Biden infuriated Republicans when he preached the need for national unity at a Democratic fund-raiser and slammed right-wing, MAGA ideology as “semi-fascism.”

At a Minnesota campaign rally in the final weeks of the 2020 presidential election, which he would lose to Biden, Trump warned supporters that Democrats were plotting to replace American freedoms with "left-wing fascism."

Fears on the left and the right that fascism is on the rise in the United States come amid growing concern among Americans that democratic institutions – and democracy itself – are in peril heading into November’s midterm elections.

But politicians who label their adversaries as fascists “are thinking about fascism in a way that has nothing to do with what fascism might have actually been,” said Jonathan Zatlin, an associate professor of history at Boston University.

Voters in a separate NBC News poll released on Monday listed “threats to democracy” as the second-most important issue facing the country, right behind jobs and the economy.

What's more, 80% of Democrats and Republicans said the opposing political party poses a threat that, unless stopped, will destroy America as we know it.

At an Aug. 25 fund-raiser for the Democratic National Committee, Biden lamented to a crowd at a private residence in Bethesda, Maryland, that Americans have “sort of lost confidence that we can do anything.”

Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Ala., argued on talk radio that Democrats are the real fascists. “If you look at what fascism is,” Brooks said, “it’s more government dictatorial control. That’s Democrats’ policies and positions hand in glove. It’s Democrats who are the ones to tend to be more fascist because fascism is the opposite of liberty and freedom, and the Democrats don’t trust us to make our own decisions. They believe the government should be doing it.”

Ruth Ben-Ghiat, a historian and expert on authoritarianism and fascism, argues Biden’s use of “semi-fascism” to describe the MAGA movement is accurate. “Really everything about Trump’s style – his leader cult, his use of propaganda, his advertisement of himself as lawless, like when he said during the campaign, ‘I could stand on Fifth Avenue and shoot someone,’ … there are without a doubt many things about Trump and the Trumpified MAGA GOP that we call fascism,” said Ben-Ghiat, a history professor at New York University.

As for the Republican claim that it’s the Democrats who are fascists, Stanley calls that absurd. “Joe Biden and the Democrats are operating within democratic politics, they are abiding by the results of elections,” he said. “… In the United States, there’s one party that’s promising not to respect the results of elections. I think that when the Republicans call Democrats fascists, they’re projecting.”

When Republicans accuse Democrats of fascism, “I think they’re very confused,” Zatlin said. “I think what they really mean is communism,” which is a more accurate label for authoritarianism on the left, he said.

Communism and fascism aren’t the same thing. “The country has gotten to a point where the crises and the polarization are so bad that you have alternate realities colliding with each other,” he said. “That’s why the Republicans can claim that the Democrats are fascists, and the Democrats can complain the Republicans are.”

Voters are beginning to care and are pushing back

I often value the emails I receive more than the packaged propaganda of the political talking heads and their media lackeys.

It is emails like the following that illustrate that voters not only lack faith in the direction this administration is taking but have little faith that the Republican Party can right the ship with Trump as their figurehead.

Americans are looking for relief from being pilloried, pigeonholed, and unjustly punished for expressing opinions contrary to others.

    I NEVER CARED

I believe more and more people are starting to feel the way I do.

I never cared whatever acronym you chose to call yourself, until you started shoving it down my throat.

I never cared what color your skin was, until you started blaming me for your problems.

I never cared about your political affiliation, until you started to condemn me for mine.

I never cared where you were from in this great Republic, until you began condemning people based on where they were born and the history that makes them who they are.

I have never cared if you were well off or poor, because I’ve been both . . . until you started calling me names for working hard to make a better life for myself.

I’ve never cared if your beliefs are different than mine, until you said my beliefs are wrong.

I’ve never cared if you didn’t like guns, until you tried to take my guns away.

    Now . . . I care.

I’ve given all the tolerance I have to give. This is no longer my problem. It’s your problem. You can still fix it. It’s not too late. But it needs to be soon.

I’m a very patient person. But I’m running out of patience. There are Tens of Millions of people just like me that are sick of all the Anti-American crap!

I’ve always cared about life, and all lives, but now you try to force the notion on me and other fellow citizens and patriots that certain lives matter more than others. You protest, riot, attack, burn, and loot. Your so-called “movement” has become a radical out-of-control bunch of thugs, criminals, and anarchists who are intent on destroying our Country.

The masses have had enough! America is the greatest country on Earth, and if you don’t like America then we invite you to leave. We are done caring about your misguided “feelings

You don’t have the right to enjoy American freedoms if you are trying to take that right away from me or other Americans.

Another day of media whack-a-mole bias / disingenuous reporting

The mid-term election campaign rhetoric and biased, propaganda media reporting is spinning out of control. Fortunately, I have already submitted my absentee ballot, completed to the best of my informed knowledge as to who are the lesser of two evils. Hope you have locked in your selections because the **** is really starting to fly!

While 76% of American voters polled declare the country is headed in the wrong direction, voice that the economy, inflation, crime, and a non-secure border and its impact on cost and loss of Americans lives due to deadly drugs crossing the border are their priorities, the Democrats are banking on abortion, lowering drug costs, Republicans as a threat to our democracy, and protecting voting rights as their priority agenda items.

While the mainstream media continues to cover for the Gaffer and the socialist left, they deny what voters see and read on other media outlets. They now declare the data and statistics shown are a matter of misguided perception and scare tactics perpetrated by the Republic Party. As we watch people violently attacked in New York City and murdered, where statistics are reported of the escalating crimes, City Mayor Adams and the brain-dead View hosts declare the city is safe, that it’s a matter of perception.

The wandering Gaffer is telling us that Hunter Biden, Kamala Harris, and John Fetterman are some of the ‘smartest’ people he knows. Seriously! To prop up Fetterman at this time of his disability is cruel. To say he can serve his constituents capably is disingenuous.

Harris who is fascinated with Yellow School Buses and noted for her word salad presentations belongs in the basement with Biden. They are hurting their party aligning and calling anyone not agreeing with their polices as racist, domestic terrorists, fascists, uneducated second-class citizens, and other demeaning and unwarranted charges.

Were we better off before Biden was elected, you bet! Biden and his cohorts declare that things are going to get even worse if the Republicans take over the House and the Senate. And it’s all Trump’s fault. Are you buying their message?

Biden’s lies: If this were Trump…

It’s not hyperbole to say Joe Biden is as big a liar as Donald Trump was because he is. And that’s not saying something extraordinary because all politicos lie all the time. But he gets away with a lot of it from the mainstream media as they cover for him.

His media lackeys refer to his lies as gaffes, geriatric misspeaks, no harm, no foul. Nonsense! The only thing keeping the Democratic Party from invoking the 25th amendment is that the inept word-salad lady is waiting in the wings.

    Examples:

    • “And because of the action we've taken, gas prices are declining. We're down $1.25 since the peak this summer and there been falling for the last three weeks as well, and adding up real savings for families today. The most common price of gas in America is $3.39, down from over five dollars when I took office," Biden said.

A blatant lie from President Biden. The average national gas price when Biden took office was $2.42. The average national gas price today is $3.76."

    • Biden, as he wished a happy birthday to Vice President Kamala Harris Monday, called her a "great president."

    • Biden later called Harris the "highest ranking Black Indian, with Indian background, woman, in American history to be Vice President."

    • The president falsely described his executive order on college debt forgiveness as a bill that "passed by a vote or two in Congress.”

    • Biden in the past month called out to the late Rep. Jackie Walorski, who passed away in a car crash in August. "Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie? She must not be here.”

    • Biden appeared to wander after two speeches in recent weeks. Staffers had to direct him in one instance after an event on the Federal Emergency Management Agency response to Hurricane Ian.

    • When asked in an interview if his wife supports a 2024 run, Biden paused for several seconds, which appeared to startle the reporter, then delivered a jumbled response. "Dr. Biden thinks that uh, my wife thinks that uh, that I uh, that, that we're, that we're doing something very important," Biden said.

    • The president dropped his notes in another interview with CNN, then delivered an improvised, unclear response. He also estimated that his administration has overseen "a billion a trillion 750 million dollars billion dollars off the sidelines of investment" on countering climate change.

    • President Joe Biden has been talking up this week's new GDP number but it's not nearly as positive as the White House's spin.

    • “The economy is going to get much worse if the Republicans take over!”

    • Biden is mocked for arguing that his administration would tackle "junk fees," such as costs for roomier airline seats, which he claimed were "unfair" to "people of color."

    • Biden’s most common gaffe over this period was his tendency to misspeak. He mispronounced the Supreme Court case Obergefell v. Hodges, announced Pennsylvania Senate Candidate John Fetterman’s wife will be a "great, great lady in the Senate," and declared in one speech, "Let me start off with two words: Made in America." He also spelled out D-O-T as he read a URL off the teleprompter. "New York sent not only a Congresswoman, one of the most congresswoman in the Congress," he explained in another speech.

Biden’s struggles come as he prepares to turn 80 on November 20. Still, he said this month that he intends to run for reelection in 2024. How delusional can he be when 76% of the country declare the country is headed in the wrong direction; 60% of polled voters are saying they are living paycheck-to-paycheck;, 20% of polled voters claim they are falling behind on paying their rent and energy bills.

By a 64%-26% margin voters in his own party don't want Biden to run for a second term. Fortunately, a majority of Republicans don't want Trump to run for a second term as well.

Obama will be coming in at the 11th hour to bail the party out of the old guy's mess. Too late? It will be interesting how he manages to appeal to the left, ‘woke’ crowd who has done much to even alienate ‘moderates’ of his own party.

Whose political mid-term election messaging are you buying

It’s not hyperbole to say that Tuesday night’s Pennsylvania Senate debate may have saved the state and the country from another two years of liberal wreckage. Voters finally learned what the Democratic Party, the liberal media, campaign officials, John Fetterman’s doctor, and particularly his ambitious wife, Gisele, have been trying desperately to hide: Fetterman’s stroke earlier this year has rendered him unfit to perform the duties of a senator. The Democrats will do anything to carry their candidate over the finish line.

Biden declares the Republicans will only make inflation worse, blames them and Trump for all the ills plaguing the country, and we have yet to hear anything definitive from the Republicans re their plan(s) for righting the ship.

Democrats and their liberal media allies will do anything to avoid addressing the issue of crime, including accusing Republicans of racism for talking about it.

From Biden’s claim of nuclear war and Armageddon to signs that Russia's invasion of Ukraine could be unraveling. From Putin now declaring he would only go nuclear if his country is attacked to charging Zelenskyy of orchestrating a false flag and using a ‘dirty bomb.’ Heard anything about any negotiations going on? Yeah, me neither; just kill more people, spend billions of dollars, and scare the **** out of the public.

Why should any of us trust election results when both Republican and Democrat candidates have claimed fraud after elections and when we are told voter suppression is real when in fact more Americans are voting than ever.

When it comes to lying, propaganda, disinformation, and data / polling manipulation, Trump, Biden, and their media cohorts are equally adept. Well, that is sure to equally piss off my Democratic and Republican friends.

Inflation is up, incomes are down, and Biden remains as clueless as ever. Voters repeatedly rank the economy as their top concern. That's bad news for President Joe Biden because his economic record is terrible. But that didn’t stop Biden from declaring, “Inflation is down, real incomes are up, and the price of gas is down," at a speech in Syracuse, New York. That went over like a lead balloon.

Biden also declared that gas was $5 per gallon when he took office in January 2021. The average cost of a gallon of gas was $2.38. A liar? Delusional? Should not be reelected into office in 2024. Neither should Trump!

Biden first tried to solve his problem by talking about abortion. But outside of college-educated white women who already vote Democratic, no one cared.

Biden tried to convince voters that the Republicans were a “threat to Democracy” and "semi-fascist." But as the early voting numbers indicate Biden's prediction of “Jim Crow on steroids” wasn't serious, voters tuned him out on this issue, too.

Until voters of all ethnicities stop voting straight party line candidates into office disregarding their qualifications, values, and radical / fringe agendas, America will continue to decline in freedom, security, mores, and world image.

We are being bombarded with so much propaganda, disinformation, and outright lies that leaves one asking whether we are headed in the right direction, whether we are better off today than we were on January 20, 2021. While the focus is on Green Energy and saving the planet's future, we are losing focus on the peril the planet is in today!

We shall soon see what America is thinking.

Is the ‘secret majority’ about to make a powerful statement on Nov. 8?

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...a3599c2d27382f

Over the past few years, I have lost count as to how many Republicans, conservatives, independents, and libertarians have told me that they have learned the art of self-censorship when it comes to discussing or even hinting at their political or faith-based views.

They went into self-censorship mode as a self-preservation response to the woke/cancel culture vigilantism many believe has swept into the corners of academia, corporate America, and the mainstream media. As many now believe that identity politics and the search for any micro-aggression or misappropriation rule the day in these powerful, left-leaning institutions, they have decided that discretion is indeed the greater part of valor. They’ll make their views known only in the privacy of a voting booth.

For decades, we have all heard of the “silent majority” in American politics. Today, for incredibly practical reasons, it may have morphed into the “secret majority.”

And why wouldn’t it? Back when the “silent majority” was coined as a term, whatever political opinion you might choose to express — generally more Republican, conservative and common sense from that demographic — you were not going to be fired from a job; you wouldn’t have your business picketed and shut down; you were not going to have anarchists and protesters march into your neighborhood; your children wouldn’t be targeted because of your views; you were not going to get viciously harassed on social media; you were not going to have your grade in college altered or be expelled from an institution of higher learning; you were not going to have your life turned upside down for simply having a different political or faith-based opinion in that version of the United States of America. We were indeed a nation conceived to ensure “liberty and justice for all.”

The America of 2022 is not the America of the past. The cancel-culture crowd has flipped that script. Suddenly, the “secret majority” has come to the realization that, if they hope to live in peace and provide for themselves and their families, they must constantly remind themselves that they no longer have the liberty to speak their minds and the scales of justice have been hijacked by far-left politicians, district attorneys and advocates who push for open borders, the defunding of the police, identity politics and the rights of violent criminals over the victims.

Many from the “secret majority” believe that this woke, anti-liberty and anti-free speech movement has taken over the power centers of big business, Big Tech, the media, universities, hospitals, science centers, and the most influential unions in the country — in other words, institutions that either employ them or exert power over their quality of life decisions.

Knowing that, why would they ever speak out or voice a differing opinion? The fact is, many do not. They have shut down.

If that’s the case, what does that tell us about political polling in the United States? Who are the pollsters communicating with? Are they getting “I’ll tell you want I think you want to hear” answers from some who agree to be polled? Do the pollsters unbiasedly factor in this “secret majority,” or are they themselves now being played?

During the best of times, polling is not an exact science; it has always been open to manipulation. Even before the woke/cancel culture descended upon our nation, a polling company, if so inclined, could make any poll reflect any narrative that a client wanted simply by weighting certain zip codes, demographics, or momentary hot-button issues.

Now, in this new age, have some in the “secret majority” purposely turned the tables on the polling companies? Come Nov. 8, we are about to get a number of critically important answers. Many of them will be shocking. One of the most shocking may be that there truly is a “secret majority” and they have learned how best to punch back against those they believe have canceled their voices.
