Jussie Smollett commissioned a hoax reportedly because he wanted better pay for his acting gigs and greater fame. Hillary Clinton's campaign commissioned a hoax because she wanted to be president at any cost. School board hoaxes appear to characterize parental concerns about what their children are taught as terror threats. China's role in causing the pandemic is excused while Americans are pitted against each other over masks and jabs.

It seems like hoax open season. Here are a few more: the practical elimination of shoplifting felonies; the removal of bail restrictions; the defunded withdrawal of police protections in troubled neighborhoods; the flaccid tolerance of urban rioting; and the accommodation of squalid homeless encampments populated primarily by the mentally ill and drug enslaved who desperately need real help.

Purposefully enacting policies that are bound to increase crime is a hoax. A hoax is a malicious deception. In this case, the idea of social justice is the product being sold, but what is actually delivered is social chaos. It's a chaos craved by leftist elites because their dead heroes deemed it necessary to overthrow the traditional values that stifle the way they want to live.

And here's the kicker: The increased crime is likely a goal and not an unanticipated result or unintended consequence.

So, to some extent the crime spiking now in several urban areas exists because alt-left mayors, prosecutors and legislators have pushed these destructive hoaxes. Images cross our daily news feeds of smash-and-grab robberies and coordinated flash mobs of shoplifters and random sidewalk/subway assaults, and the victim factories of homeless encampments.
I don't know Lee & Mark, what world do we live in? I feel like I am watching a sci-fi movie. It does not take a moron to recognize that inflation is slightly over 6.8% now and in January of 2019 it was 1.6%, in January of 2021 it was 2.5% according to the US Inflation report calculator. The inflation rate plays an important role in determining the health of an economy. But Resident Biden claims it is the best in 50 years! How could that be, prices are skyrocketing at warp speed. I've never seen such dramatic increases.

The racial hoax(es) from these so-called celebrities only divides us. Smash & grabs cause social unrest and costs the small businesses money which is diverted to the customers. The drug epidemic is peaking at such a horrific level that it can surpass the pandemic casualties. Lawlessness cannot continue. All free societies are based on a strong sense of law and order. There is a saying, "no order no law, no law no order." That is why as long as a society is free, and therefore has the vote, any sort of lawlessness, lawbreaking, or lawless violence is a direct threat to our Constitution, and Bill of Rights and all our freedoms.

We may very well be living in the Orwellian world of 1984 shortstuff.

Three years later, Orwell would write 1984. Two years after that, it would see publication and go on to generations of attention as perhaps the most eloquent fictional statement against a world reduced to superstates, saturated with “emotional nationalism,” acquiescent to “dictatorial methods, secret police,” and the systematic falsification of history,” and shot through by the willingness to “disbelieve in the existence of objective truth because all the facts have to fit in with the words and prophecies of some infallible fuhrer.”

The American public recognizes what socialism / Marxism has wrought in the past two years and is rejecting it. What is disturbing is that the left is considering changing its brand and campaigning strategy this year.

The self-described socialist-left magazine Jacobin* to the center-left Third Way think tanks conclude the same: Stop with the identity politics, the politically correct language, the callouts to specific groups, the explicit targeting that suggests one race or type of person will benefit. Craft a simple, inclusive economic message that cuts across differences and appeals to all.

*Jacobin acknowledges that it is "a leading voice of the American left, offering socialist perspectives on politics, economics, and culture."

The country has come to see what socialism is like. The left sees it is being rebuffed. The left pursues avenues of deceit to cover up its agenda.

You can put lipstick on a pig, its still a pig! However, some will be deceived.

    America in turmoil

The Biden administration and left-bias media is selling the narrative that America is back or will be within a matter of months. Even within the Democratic Party there is division and difference of opinion between the left and moderates on Medicare for All, climate change and the New Green Deal, crime, defunding / reimaging law enforcement, etc.

The “rejoice, happy days are here again,” or “return to normalcy in February” narrative is not being bought by near 70% of the public as evinced by Biden’s unfavorable poll numbers. Equally indictive of times of uncertainty, fear, and lack of confidence in a return in normalcy anytime soon is contained in the following report on the adverse impact on America’s mental health.

With the record report of one million cases of Covid on Tuesday, along with the length of the virus and its mixed messaging, inflation, school closings, supply shortages, etc., Americans are frazzled, and too little attention is being paid to America's health. And Americans can't get the help they need!

    Another Covid vaccine dismissed

Sound familiar? Why is the U.S. disinterested in investigating the use of cheap proven vaccines and therapeutics used successfully in other countries? Ivermectin, monoclonal antibodies, etc. Testing, mandates, and shaming is our policy. Fixated on developing new and expensive drugs – Paxlovid, molnupiravir.

A Texas team comes up with a COVID vaccine that could be a global game changer

    https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsan...l-game-changer

When a new strain of coronavirus triggered the COVID-19 pandemic, Hotez and Bottazzi figured they could dust off their old technology and modify it for use against COVID-19. After all, the virus causing COVID-19 and the virus causing SARS are quite similar.

Hotez says they tried to interest government officials in the vaccine, but they were not impressed.

"People were so fixated on innovation that nobody thought, 'Hey, maybe we could use a low-cost, durable, easy-breezy vaccine that can vaccinate the whole world,' " Hotez says.

"We really honestly couldn't get any traction in the U.S., but our mission is always to enable technologies for low- and middle-income countries production and use," Bottazzi recalls.

Supreme Court misinformation, I am shocked-NOT

Just as shocked was I at seeing $17.95 per pound for sliced roast beef at the deli today and $8.25 per pound for chuck roast, as when reading this report. Doesn’t anyone tell the truth anymore?

Keep dumbing down the children by keeping them home and soon 2 + 2 will equal 5, and they will believe this **** is true. Academia is working on it.

Trump, Biden, Harris, Congress, the media mob, and now the Supreme Court, we are so screwed!

    Ivermectin: Why not?

As a senior with health issues, receiving two vaccine injections in the first months of January 2021, a booster is October 2021, wearing a mask when mandated, keeping company with only like vaccinated individuals, you would think I feel protected up the wazoo against Covid and its variants. If anything, more concerned than ever because of the mixed messaging I am receiving from our government, individuals working in the health industry, and reading about the collateral damage caused by vaccine / vaccine booster mandates.

While being told about the efficacy of the vaccines – which are not the formulas of the initial Trump vaccines, seven ingredients instead of 3 - there is talk of another booster being administered. How safer are any of us vaccinated individuals as opposed to the unvaccinated?

While hearing from the government that Omicron is more transmittal but less serious to those especially boosted, I am hearing different from real world individuals who convey that even the boosted are coming down with Omicron, getting just as ill, hospitalized, and dying.

Biden who in his presidential campaign and early on in his presidency vowed he would eradicate the virus is now saying we may have to learn to live with it. The Biden strategy now is more testing, but no contact tracing, 5 days of isolation instead of 10 if tested positive but not showing symptoms, and no mention of therapeutics except for the FDA’s authorized emergency use of molnupiravir (Merck), Paxlovid (Pfizer) and monoclonal Antibody treatments (several manufactures) and remdesivir, all expensive treatments; $530 - $5,000 per dose.

Why no government consideration of authorizing much less expensive therapeutic treatments found successful in other countries - like ivermectin, $20 per dose? Especially when it has been found a successful treatment for Covid patients even on ventilators in the U.S., recovering and discharged from the hospital in a week. I know of two individuals gravely ill, ready to be hospitalized who self-treated with ivermectin received from recovered patients, and themselves recovering in three days. Why not ivermectin?

    The news of the day

    The good news

The Bills win, clinch the division and are in the playoffs.

    The not so good news

While informed a South African study indicates omicron may be the end of the pandemic strain, a researcher in Cyprus has discovered a strain of the coronavirus that combines the delta and omicron variant.

Leondios Kostrikis, professor of biological sciences at the University of Cyprus, called the strain “deltacron,” because of its omicron-like genetic signatures within the delta genomes, Bloomberg said. So far, Kostrikis and his team have found twenty-five cases of the virus, according to the report. It’s still too early to tell whether there are more cases of the strain or what impacts it could have.

We are now advised by the Biden Administration to learn to live with the virus – along with inflation, supply shortages, etc. The new normal:” lower your expectations.”

    Crime in New York City

While newly sworn in New York City Mayor Eric Adams said he was going to be tough on crime in the city, Manhattan prosecutor Alvin Bragg instructed prosecutors to avoid seeking jail or prison time for all but the most serious crimes, and to cease charging a number of lower-level crimes.

Public safety is the governments number one job. How does not enforcing the law make us safer? New York City has once again become a dangerous place to live in and visit with record breaking murder and crime rates.

    Allowing non-citizen voting right

Adams also said Saturday that he supports legislation passed by the city council allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections. "I believe that New Yorkers should have a say in their government, which is why I have and will continue to support this important legislation," Adams, a Democrat said in a statement: "While I initially had some concerns about one aspect of the bill, I had a productive dialogue with my colleagues in government that put those concerns at ease. Even former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio expressed concerns about the bill before leaving office but did not veto it before leaving office.

    Iran provocation

“In essence, a government official in the world's foremost state sponsor of terrorism invited Americans to partake in domestic terrorism against one another,” said Foundation for Defense of Democracies senior fellow Behnam Ben Taleblu, who translated the Iranian general’s remarks. “The Islamic Republic has tried to use intimidation, harassment, the threat of violence, as well as actual violence, to include kidnapping, terror, and assassination, to silence critics abroad for four decades. In this regard, its latest ‘sanctions’ can be seen as another vector in its terror campaign.”

    Practice what they preach

AOC was double vaccinated, boosted and goes unmasked in Florida and gets infected with the virus. Likewise vaccinated, that sure doesn't bolster my confidence in the vaccines. So, tell me why again the government won't authorize (or even consider authorizing) using proven safe, cheap therapeutic drugs used by 25% of the countries in the world - like ivermectin? Then again, Biden said no one seen the variants coming - the reason for test kit shortages and therapeutics.

    America is back, eh?

IMHO, necessary life-saving Covid medical treatment to humanity should be available to all, without pre-conditions or distinctions, especially racial, ethnic, religious, and gender standing, period.

    Sound familiar?

Insufficient resources were another constant concern within camps and ghettos. Food, medicine, and medical equipment were always in short supply. The diary of Dr. Janusz Korczak illustrates how a lack of medicine and food contributed to a severe decline in the health of the children under his care in the Warsaw ghetto. Prisoner doctors within the Nazi camp system were frequently forced to treat their patients and perform surgeries without anasthesia or basic hygienic supplies...

The Nazi regime and the Holocaust confronted medical providers with countless ethical dilemmas and posed extreme challenges to their ability to treat patients. Within the constraints of the Nazi system, the possibilities of providing proper medical care to those in need were severely limited.

UPDATE: US Military Report States COVID-19 Was Created by a US-Funded EcoHealth Alliance Program at Wuhan Institute of Virology

By Jennifer Van Laar | Jan 11, 2022 3:00 AM ET

SARS-CoV-2 is an American-created recombinant bat vaccine, or its precursor virus. It was created by an EcoHealth Alliance program at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), as suggested by the reporting surrounding the lab leak hypothesis. The details of this program have been concealed since the pandemic began. These details can be found in the EcoHealth Alliance proposal response to the DARPA PREEMPT program Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) HR00118S0017, dated March 2018 – a document not yet publicly disclosed.

Is Omicron less severe than Delta

If you get COVID-19 in the United States right now, chances are high that it’s the Omicron variant, which now accounts for around 95 percent of the country’s reported cases. With dozens of mutations, Omicron is different from the previously dominant Delta variant in significant ways, which means that, after two years of getting a handle on how to manage risk, you might need to shift at least some of your behaviors.

Among the changes, Omicron is more transmissible and better at evading existing antibodies. “To me, the biggest shift, the most shocking thing, is how incredibly infectious this thing is. I have never seen anything so infectious in my life,” says Carlos del Rio, an epidemiologist and infectious diseases specialist Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. At the same time, Omicron causes different symptoms and seems to lead to less severe disease.

Still, different strains of SARS-CoV-2 share important similarities, and much of the basic public health advice—get vaccinated, wear a mask—remains the same. Here’s what the latest research says about staying safe in the age of Omicron.

Where have you gone Joe Biden

As an independent, against all odds, I hoped Biden was honest in declaring his ‘moderate, non-socialist’ position was credible and that he would work to unify the country. You sold out Mr. Biden, kept none of your campaign promises and have left a trail of failures that have even disappointed / angered your moderate base, as indicated by your abysmal poll numbers.

You sank to a new low today when pressure and negotiation attempts on the voting rights bill your administration is sponsoring have failed, and you resorted to shame on Tuesday, thundering at US senators that they'll be siding with the Confederate President Jefferson Davis over the American President Abraham Lincoln if they don't vote to change Senate rules. You called for sidestepping the filibuster in a procedural vote by next Monday to move toward a vote on a new national voting rights standard.

You have indeed become a ‘slave’ to the left-wing base of your party, become one willing to subvert the Constitution, a cancel culture warrior.:

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...?ocid=msedgntp

You’re and the esteemed Dr. Fauci’s weaponing and bungling of the pandemic for political advantage and self-interest have panicked and further divided this country.

Trump was labeled a pathological liar and teller of the ‘Big Lie’ by the left-wing media. While 90% of the media is bias-left and covers for the feeble minded, lying Biden, fortunately there are still conservative outlets that present the other side of the story.

We are the proverbial pickle-in-the-middle pulled by both political parties to serve their best interests, not ours!
