I do not disagree with Biden's decision to withdraw from Afghanistan. That war has gone on far too long.

However, I do agree with his ill-planned disengagement; a seemingly flawed scheme advanced without full consideration to an orderly withdrawal. As I understand the Biden plan, it seems to lack serious commitments to preserve American honor and to substantially protect the lives of those Afghan civilian and military actors who faithfully assisted the American military for the last twenty years...

Ah, the Great Reset, New Normal, or whatever you call it.

How about the "New Order," because this is suggestive of camps?

    This is from the CDC...

    Mainstream media reporting unaccountability

Having little faith in any media reporting accountability, today’s Buffalo News featured sixteen national syndicated reports, fifteen from left biased media outlets, eleven of the sixteen from the New York Times.

None of the New York Times reports focused on:

    • The border crisis or DHS Secretary Mayorkas’ leaked video of the ‘unsustainability’ of the border crisis, the dispersion into the country of thousands of illegals infected with Covid, or the four hundred border agents infected with Covid. Yet vaccinated Americans are supposed to mask up.

    • Pelosi’s threat to destroy Democratic infrastructure success.

    • Biden’s spending plan where inflation would not take place and if it did it would only be temporary.

    • Biden’s silence on violent crime surge – no plan for resolution.

    • Afghanistan – Biden arrogantly promised the Taliban would fail to overrun the country.

    • Biden’s utter contempt for the Constitution.

While the country is mired again in another pandemic crisis, the Buffalo News choose to feature on its front page a New York Times report that serves no purpose (IMHO), tends to further anger families and individuals who suffered great loses in the 2020 lockdown.

Titled: As norms return, some pine for pandemic pods, it features four families who wax nostalgia for the Covid 2020 lockdown: or more precisely, longing for the intimacy of the pandemic pod.

They relate missing the empathy, the shared experience, the feeling of closeness. Some people found themselves pining, and are still pining, for their pods’ camaraderie and sense of collective purpose. “There is just a feeling that something is missing. Today.”

Even the simple – or not so simple – act of enacting safety protocols that everyone in the pod felt comfortable with required a deep level of trust. “When you live on your own and have your own nuclear family, you tend to put your own needs first,” Reddy said. “In a pod, you’re thinking about the collective good, and the comfort of everyone, because you have to – you need your pod to survive.”

    Comment

So, while the great majority of families were burying friends and family members during the lockdown, were refrained from visiting loved ones in the hospital or nursing facilities, advised not to be unmasked indoors – even when visited by family members, sheltered at home for near one-year, others reminisce on the solace they received living in a commune environment - which flies in the face of every Covid guideline issued by the CDC.

What purpose was served by the Times seeking out four communal families waxing nostalgic during the Covid lockdown period? It is an irresponsible, insensitive, and appalling report for those who suffered through the pandemic then, and once again now.

Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Democrats to protest in favor of voting rights by taking to the streets and getting arrested. Can this be considered ‘inciting to riot’?

New York Assembly members Friday expressed frustration at the decision by Democratic leaders to suspend impeachment proceedings against Gov. Andrew Cuomo. This man is indeed ‘New York tough,’ or really knows where the bones are buried and willing to dig them up.

My opinion only, but the Biden withdrawal plan from Afghanistan was flawed from the start and was doomed to failure. If a more thoughtful plan would have been applied, America could have disengaged its twenty-year commitment with honor, and left the Afghan armed forces in a much stronger position to maintain a position superior to that of the Taliban.

Is it not fair to ask why was such a reckless plan adopted?

Just a thought, but Afghanistan holds 3 trillion dollars of rare earth minerals.

Perhaps with a Chinese-compromised President Biden in office, this New York Post headline may suggest a reason?:

China reportedly prepares to recognize Taliban if they oust Afghan government

The surrender of a nation rich in mineral wealth to the Chinese would be a nice down payment on the mortgage that President Xi Jinping holds on the Biden Presidency, eh?

The best SLAVE is ONE who THINKS he is FREE...

Interesting email. Are we there yet?

Saul Alinsky died 43 years ago, but his writings influenced those in political control of our nation today...

Recall that Hillary did her college thesis on his writings and Obama writes about him in his books.

Think this stuff isn't happening today in the U.S.? All eight rules are currently in play.

How to create a social state by Saul Alinsky:

There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.

    1) Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people.

    2) Poverty - Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

    3) Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

    4) Gun Control - Remove the ability of the people to defend themselves from their government. Thus less (or no) resistance to a police state.

    5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).

    6) Education - Take control of what people read and listen to - take control of what children learn in school.

    7) Religion - Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools.

8 Class Warfare - Divide the people into “wealthy” and “poor,” causing discontent: It will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Does any of this sound like what is happening to the United States?

Alinsky merely simplified Vladimir Lenin's original scheme for world conquest by communism, under Russian rule.

Stalin described his converts as "Useful Idiots." Useful Idiots have destroyed every nation in which they have seized power and control. Is it presently happening in the U.S.?

    Indeed Lee.

We are now speeding toward enslavement by dictatorship which was created by the Globalist/Social/Marxists.

If I am reading the tea leaves correctly, America is now being controlled by an elitist junta under the control of President Xi. It is little comfort for me to know that the Chinese, who with their perverted embrace of private property and corporations, are more analogous to Fascist Socialists rather than Leninist Marxists.

The name of the tyranny is of no consequence; enslavement is enslavement. To illustrate, the Mussolini observation that "Fascism is the wrong term; it is "Corporatism," was of no interest to anyone other than political scientists.

    September, 2020:

"Biden has been more adamant about restoring U.S. relations with allies and NATO, and his stance on these wars is more measured. He says troops must be withdrawn responsibly and that a residual force presence will be needed in Afghanistan to ensure terrorist groups can’t rebuild and attack America again. That approach, however, angers progressives and others who believe the U.S. has spent too much time, money and blood on battlefields far from home."

Biden cool with Afghanistan exit strategy

Biden followed through on his promise to swiftly end America's longest war and may be held responsible for the tragedy unfolding. His exit strategy is to blame Trump!

No votes to be had by staying in Afghanistan.

This is Ryan Crocker's assessment of President Biden...

This is just my opinion, but the Left always knew that Biden was incompetent in 2020, and that he was just a pawn in the furtherance of that year's Globalist/Socialist/Marxist Revolution.

An American Apocalypse - Victor Davis Hanson
Why people of all classes, races are filled with fear!
    August 14th, 2021

Americans are growing angrier by the day in a way different from prior sagebrush revolts such as the 1960s Silent Majority or Tea Party furor of over a decade ago.

The rage at the current status quo this time is not just fueled by conservatives. For the first time in their lives, all Americans of all classes and races are starting to fear a self-created apocalypse that threatens their families’ safety and the American way of life.

The border is not just porous as in the pre-Trump past. It is nonexistent Some 2 million people may cross illegally in the current fiscal year—with complete impunity.

There is zero effort to stop them. Officials daily hector Americans to get vaccinated and tested for COVID. But they are mute about illegal entrants, some of them infected with the virus.

Have we ever had a president who made no pretense about destroying federal immigration law and asking of Americans what he does not of illegal aliens?
Joe Biden has also conceded that his hold on housing evictions deliberately defied a Supreme Court ruling. He added that he probably did not have the legal authority to ignore the court, but did not really care
As in the case of demolishing immigration law, the president seems either unaware or proud that he is insidiously dismantling the Constitution.

America has also never quite seen such overt and multifaceted efforts to undermine the foundations of free-market capitalism.

At a time of resurging GDP, low unemployment, and record worker shortages, Biden has announced that renters can continue to avoid paying what they owe their landlords—even after a prior year of such free housing.

In a rebounding economy amid record debt, the government is still sending workers unemployment benefits that are more remunerative than the paychecks they would earn if employed. Such insanity means not only that labor-short employers cannot provide goods and services to American consumers. The new ethos also institutionalizes the pernicious idea that it is smarter to stay home and idle than to get a job and be productive.

Biden is also considering further extending exemptions for the repayment of $1.7 trillion in student loans. That amnesty will only further mainstream this growing notion that borrowing money entails no legal or moral obligation to pay it back.

No one seems to acknowledge that both students and the universities—which lured them to borrow—knew exactly the risks they were taking. Meanwhile, millions of American youth, the working classes who choose not to attend college, and those who paid their loans off or whose parents saved enough over the years to cover their tuition obligations, will subsidize those who renege of their debts by paying higher taxes.

Inflation is roaring back as the administration is printing trillions of new dollars that do not reflect commensurate gains in productivity or population.
Soaring prices are a direct result of incentivizing the unemployed not to work, while discouraging manufacturers and producers of food, gas, oil, timber, mineral, and in response, millions of Americans now simply avoid the mayhem and chaos of blue-state big cities

Race relations have regressed 50 years. Under the fad of critical race theory, the color of our skins is now deemed essential to who we are.
Most Americans still integrate, assimilate, and intermarry. But the current woke revolution is an elite, top-down effort to smear a self-critical and always improving nation, as some sort of contemporary racist hellhole.

George Orwell would say of these cultural Marxists that they grab power in the present to reinvent the past in order to control our futures.
All this multifaceted chaos is not just faculty lounge stuff. We are beginning to see the collective craziness filter down to disruptions in our everyday lives.
Airliners cannot take off due to fuel shortages. Automobiles, houses, gas, and lumber are in short supply.

Consumers can’t get their roofs fixed or their houses painted or the trees trimmed as employers plead to their idle government-subsidized employees to come back to work.

No one knows whether our laws even still exist—or at least exist haphazardly depending on who breaks them.

Thieves steal with brazen impunity. The police predicate arresting suspects on criteria that have nothing to do with breaking the law.

Scared Americans have lost faith in the FBI, the CIA, the Pentagon, the CDC, and most of the federal bureaucracies that are as politicized as they are increasingly incompetent.

What started out as elite woke nonsense now warps everyone’s daily life. If we don’t wake up from wokeness, we will continue on our sure trajectory to self-inflicted, systemic paralysis—followed by civilization collapse.

Victor Davis Hanson is a distinguished fellow of the Center for American Greatness. He is the author of more than two dozen books, ranging in topics from ancient Greece to modern America.

About 5,000 to 10,000 Americans are still "near Kabul," Pentagon estimates
    Reference: https://www.cnn.com/world/live-news/...f3686c0f2d7b02

Just my opinion, but the Biden Afghanistan calamity was eminently avoidable. His administration bears full responsibility for the most foreseeable disregard for the lives of American nationals since the fall of the Philippines in 1942:

Biden admin depends on Taliban to give Americans 'safe passage' 6 weeks after Biden said he doesn't trust them

Thousands of American civilians remain in Afghanistan awaiting evacuation

By Houston Keene | Fox News

The White House is depending on the Taliban to give evacuating Americans "safe passage" to the Kabul airport just six weeks after President Biden said that he doesn't trust the terrorist organization.

National security adviser Jake Sullivan joined White House press secretary Jen Psaki at the podium for a press conference on Tuesday, where they took questions about the fallout from the troops withdrawal from Afghanistan, which gave way to a swift Taliban takeover of the country.

Sullivan told reporters that the administration expects the Taliban "will have to be watched and observed over time" on whether it is "prepared to meet their obligations to the basic human rights and human dignity of people, to the safe passage of people, to the airport."

"The Taliban have informed us that they are prepared to provide the safe passage of civilians to the airport, and we intend to hold them to that commitment," Sullivan also said during the briefing.

Sullivan noted the administration is "in contact with the Taliban to ensure the safe passage of people to the airport."

The president was asked just six weeks ago if he trusted the Taliban, to which he replied: "No, I do not trust the Taliban."

Thousands of American civilians remain in Afghanistan awaiting evacuation.

Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., told Fox News in an interview on Monday that between "400 and 500 people" contacted his office in a period of between 12 and 18 hours "pleading for assistance," after opening his phone lines up to all Americans stranded "behind Taliban lines."

    Washington morons

The Taliban wants our trust. History indicates they do not deserve it – nor does our government.

The Muslim Wars started in the 7th Century and lasted through the 17th Century.

In 732 A.D., the Muslim Army, which was moving on Paris was defeated and turned back at Tours, France, by Charles Martell.

In 1571 A.D., the Muslim Army/Navy were defeated by the Italians and Austrians as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to Attack Southern Europe in the Battle of Lepanto.

In 1683 A.D., the Turkish Muslim Army attacking Eastern Europe was finally defeated in the Battle of Vienna by German and Polish Christian Armies.

This Nonsense has been going on for 1,400 years! The SAD thing is that more than half of all Politicians apparently do not even know any of this.

From 1960 through the present Muslims have been responsible for sixteen major terrorist attacks involving the U.S. (something happened).

What is equally disheartening is the blame game both political parties and their media stalwarts are playing which further divides the country.

It was time for American troop withdrawal. Both Trump and Biden supported the plan. Biden is in office and managed the plan to leave poorly. After blaming Trump, the Afghan military, American intelligence, etc., he declares, “I own it.” The morons in Washington all own it and whatever future outcome results.

“Rally around the flag,” is no longer an existing American sentiment. We looked foolish here and our politicos and media will make damn certain we continue to look foolish.
