49% of polled voters still favor Cuomo.

While agreeing Cuomo should not resign, he should not seek re-election. If he does seek re-election, hoping he would get soundly beat in the primary.

It is amazing that narcissistic, sexist, bullies like Cuomo and Trump can command such loyalty. In any other but a heavily unionized blue state Cuomo would be toast!

Roughly half of New York voters support Cuomo: poll

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...?ocid=msedgntp

A Siena College Research Institute poll released Monday found that Cuomo remaining on the job is supported by 49 percent of respondents, a drop of two percentage points from his level of support in the same poll conducted in April.

While voters are split over whether he should resign, a majority agree that he should not stand for reelection in the upcoming New York gubernatorial election, set to take place next year.

Fifty-three percent of voters said in the poll that they would prefer a different candidate win the 2022 election, while 37 percent said they still planned to vote for Cuomo should he run again.

That number eerily resembles Mario Cuomo's number when seeking a fourth term in 1994, so I think Andrew, whom I do not believe will seek re-election, should be very concerned Lee, just my two cents.

Biden State Department signals support for BLM flag to be flown at US embassies: report

The memo allows US diplomats to fly the Black Lives Matter flag outside of embassies

By Houston Keene | Fox News

The Department of State under President Biden issued guidance to all "Diplomatic and Consular posts" encouraging official displays of support for Black Lives Matter (BLM) on the one-year anniversary of George Floyd’s murder on May 25 and beyond, according to a new report.

According to a leaked memo from an anonymous State Department source, the department wrote that it "supports the use of the term ‘Black Lives Matter’ in messaging content" as well as in speeches and foreign diplomatic engagements on May 25 "and beyond."

The memo allows U.S. diplomats to fly the Black Lives Matter flag outside of embassies. Fox News verified the authenticity of the memo first reported by Human Events, a conservative American political news and analysis newspaper and website.

Specifically, the memo acts as an "authorization" for agency higher-ups to "display the BLM flag on the external-facing flagpole to any Chiefs of Mission who determine such a display is appropriate in light of local conditions."

In a statement to Fox News on Tuesday, a spokesperson for the State Department said the agency does not "comment on the authenticity or veracity of allegedly leaked documents" as a general matter.

Similar to the BLM banner, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken also previously authorized embassies to fly the LGBTQ pride flag from May 17 through the end of June in recognition of Pride Month celebrations, reversing a Trump-era policy.

BLM has come under scrutiny recently for different reasons, including when armed BLM protesters swarmed a restaurant in Louisville on the anniversary of Breonna Taylor's death and when BLM supporters rallied behind a carjacker killed in a police-involved shooting in Minnesota, but left after learning he was White.

Additionally, BLM co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors — a self-described "Marxist" — came under heavy fire in the media after purchasing multiple multimillion-dollar homes across the U.S.

BLM put out a statement on Twitter following the reports of Khan-Cullors’ property purchases claiming the reports were "narratives" that were "generated by right-wing forces intent on reducing the support and influence of a movement that is larger than any one organization."

"This right-wing offensive not only puts Patrisse, her child and her loved ones in harm's way, it also continues a tradition of terror by [W]hite supremacists against Black activists," the release also claims.

After the New York Post’s report on the property acquisitions dropped last month, Facebook blocked the article from being shared on their platform, sparking backlash from conservatives.

On Monday, it was reported that a prominent BLM activist in the United Kingdom, Sasha Johnson, was shot in the head at a party and in critical condition.

Trump, that racist, xenophobe had the nerve to call Covid ‘the China virus’ and initiate an investigation as to the origin of the virus in China. A wacko conspiracy theory wrote the mainstream media. The liberal broadcast media mocked and savaged him. Biden stopped the investigation the day after he took office. And now they scramble to cover their asses.

Biden sputters he was on top of this since January 2020:

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bid...ab-leak-theory

Not so fast say the right-wing media community:

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/wuh...-investigation

Not a crazy conspiracy theory anymore postulated by the hated, lying, crazy Trump, eh?

BTW – With the ant-Jewish hate / violence on the streets could the ‘squad’ be cited for inciting violence?

    ARE THERE REALLY TWO AMERICAS????????????????????
Posted on May 23, 2021 by abyssum

In early January 2020, Bob Lonsberry, a Rochester talk radio personality on WHAM 1180 AM, said this in response to Biden’s Income inequality speech:
    Two Americas

The Democrats are right, there are two Americas.

The America that works, and the America that doesn’t.

The America that contributes, and the America that doesn’t.

It’s not the haves and the have nots --- it’s the dos and the don’ts. Some people do their duty as Americans, obey the law, support themselves, contribute to society, and others don’t. That’s the divide in America.

It’s not about income inequality, it’s about civic irresponsibility. It’s about a political party that preaches hatred, greed, and victimization in order to win elective office.

It’s about a political party that loves power more than it loves its country. That’s not invective, that’s truth, and it’s about time someone said it.

The politics of envy was on proud display a couple weeks ago when President Biden pledged the rest of his term to fighting “income inequality.” He noted that some people make more than other people, that some people have higher incomes than others, and he says that’s not just.

That is the rationale of thievery. The other guy has it, you want it, Biden will take it for you. Vote Democrat.

That is the philosophy that produced Detroit. It is the electoral philosophy that is destroying America.

It conceals a fundamental deviation from American values and common sense because it ends up not benefiting the people who support it, but a betrayal.

The Democrats have not empowered their followers; they have enslaved them in a culture of dependence and entitlement, of victimhood and anger instead of ability and hope.

The president’s premise – that you reduce income inequality by debasing the successful – seeks to deny the successful the consequences of their choices and spare the unsuccessful the consequences of their choices. Because, by and large, income variations in society are a result of different choices leading to different consequences. Those who choose wisely and responsibly have a far greater likelihood of success, while those who choose foolishly and irresponsibly have a far greater likelihood of failure. Success and failure usually manifest themselves in personal and family income.

You choose to drop out of high school or to skip college – and you are apt to have a different outcome than someone who gets a diploma and pushes on with purposeful education and/or employment.

You have your children out of wedlock and life is apt to take one course; you have them within a marriage and life is apt to take another course.

Most often in life our destination is determined by the course we take.

My doctor, for example, makes far more than I do. There is significant income inequality between us. Our lives have had an inequality of outcome, but our lives also have had an inequality of effort. While my doctor went to college and then devoted his young adulthood to medical school and residency, I chose another avenue.

He made a choice, I made a choice, and our choices led us to different outcomes. His outcome pays a lot better than mine. Does that mean he cheated, and Joe Biden needs to take away his wealth? No, it means we are both free men in a free society where free choices lead to different outcomes.

It is not inequality Joe Biden intends to take away, it is freedom. The freedom to succeed and the freedom to fail. There is no true option for success if there is no true option for failure. The pursuit of happiness means a whole lot less when you face the punitive hand of government if your pursuit brings you more happiness than the other guy. Even if the other guy sat on his arse and did nothing. Even if the other guy made a lifetime’s worth of asinine and shortsighted decisions.

President Biden and the Democrats preach equality of outcome as a right, while completely ignoring inequality of effort. The simple Law of the Harvest – as ye sow, so shall ye reap – is sometimes applied as, “The harder you work, the more you get.” Biden would turn that upside down. Those who achieve are to be punished as enemies of society and those who fail are to be rewarded as wards of society.

Entitlement will replace effort as the key to upward mobility in American society if President Biden Barack gets his way. He seeks the lowest common denominator society in which the government besieges the successful and productive to foster equality through mediocrity. He and his party speak of two Americas, and their grip on power is based on using the votes of one to sap the productivity of the other. America is not divided by the differences in our outcomes, it is divided by the differences in our efforts. It is a false philosophy to say one man’s success comes about unavoidably as the result of another man’s victimization.

What Biden offered was not a solution, but a separatism. He fomented division and strife, pitted one set of Americans against another for his own political benefit. That’s what socialists offer. Marxist class warfare wrapped up with a bow.

Two Americas, coming closer each day to proving the truth to Lincoln’s maxim that a house divided against itself cannot stand.

In race relations, America overcame so much in my lifetime. During that time, America matured and it appeared to depart the walls and doors of segregation; an evil which, historically, was prominently promulgated by the Democratic Party.

Now, again under conspicuous Democrat Party leadership, America is experiencing a sad, reverse, back to the future type of segregation.

If "payback" is a bitch, evil is still evil, and that does not change.

Lee to add to your commentary in this post, I was not surprised to see that Resident Biden will now fly the BLM flag at all Embassy's and recognize its standing in America and globally. A shame...the American Flag represents every single person that lives in the United States, the BLM flag does not and it should not merit standing.

What is both scary and disturbing is that the great majority of Americans have had enough of the divisiveness that that has and continues to be fostered by political extremists and a media whose agendas are self-serving.

Today’s Rod Watson’s opinion piece has merit. Unfortunately, his opening racist defense justification and reason for declaring that he doesn’t hate ‘white’s will offend / upset many readers and bias their perception on the rest of the report.

    Watson wrote:

To those readers who think I hate white people, I can say categorically: You’re wrong.

And I have the papers to prove it. Years ago, I took the online implicit association test that – though critics balk – creators at Harvard University and the University of Washington argue can uncover the racial biases we are not conscious of even having.

The result? According to my test: Your data suggest a slight automatic preference for European American compared to African American.
    I was not surprised.

Imagine that, an online test that determines absence of racial bias for some not conscious of having bias, and where on the other-hand whites are inbred with racism and not capable of escaping that stereotype.

How sad that the public is caught in a crossfire of political and media machinations that result in voters too often electing inept / dysfunctional leaders.

Bush (R)-Obama (D)-Trump (R)-Biden (D)-2024 (hopefully, neither Trump or Biden).

Why not, Trump gets blamed for everything

Quite a stretch, but in politics controlling the narrative, regardless how baseless the premise is, makes anything possible. This is as asinine as it can get.

Inflation? Don’t worry, Biden’s team is on it!

More government spending and more free stuff coming to many Americans – and non- Americans as well. Who’s goes to pay? Why the wealthy! Not the middle class. That inflation thing, that middle class regressive tax thing, that won’t amount to much, right?, Biden has it under control – just like the border and the increase in violence. Just blame Trump!

    https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics...ead-on-arrival

The White House on Friday unveiled a $6 trillion budget proposal for fiscal year 2022 which would push debt levels to the highest they’ve been since World War II, and Republicans on Capitol Hill are calling the proposal "dead on arrival" in Congress.

The proposal exceeds former President Trump’s record budget request of $4.8 trillion last year.

The fiscal 2022 budget request – the first of Biden's presidency – tallies up the administration's eight-year, $2.3 trillion American Jobs Plan and the $1.8 trillion American Families Plan and incorporates them into Biden's $1.5 trillion request for annual operating expenditures, which includes the Pentagon and other federal agencies.

Lee this won't go anywhere. Well actually, this is proposed so that the GOP will come back with somewhat of a more reduced budget spending. I figured out that Biden & Company figured out the GOP

    The Fauci Emails Released

Fauci offered support to a Chinese health official

On March 28, 2020, Fauci received an email from George Gao, director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Gao had given an interview to Science magazine saying the U.S. and other western nations were making a "big mistake" by not telling people to wear masks.

"I saw the Science interview, how could I say such a word 'big mistake' about others? That was journalist's wording. Hope you understand," Gao wrote to Fauci.

"Lets work together to get the virus out of the earth," he said.

Fauci replied: "I understand completely. No problem." He added: "We will get through this together."

Experts worried that COVID-19 could 'look engineered'

On January 31, 2020, Kristian G. Andersen, director of the Scripps Research Institute, wrote to Fauci to say that some of the SARS-CoV-2's features "(potentially) look engineered."

Andersen noted that the "unusual features" of the virus made up "a really small part" of its genome.

"We have a good team lined up to look very critically at this, so we should know much more at the end of the weekend," he wrote as part of a chain of emails.
But, is not this what Fauci publicly said four months after the January 21, 2020 email?...

What Dr. Fauci said in 2020

The NIAID director dismissed the Wuhan lab leak theory in a National Geographic interview in May 2020. He told the magazine that it was a "circular argument" and argued that scientific evidence pointed away from the idea.

"If you look at the evolution of the virus in bats and what's out there now, [the scientific evidence] is very, very strongly leaning toward this could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated," he reportedly told National Geographic.

    Another email...

Fauci said that store-bought masks are 'not really effective'

In an email on February 5, 2020, Fauci advised against wearing masks and said that face masks bought in a store would not be effective at protecting against the virus. He was replying to queries from one Sylvia Burwell, who may be to the same Sylvia Burwell who served as secretary for health and human services from 2014 to 2017.

"Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection," Fauci wrote.

"The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through material. It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you."
