    Analytics, Mark? It's over!

Trump lost and his defeat is his doing. What he did yesterday to incite his supporters was a disgrace and a disservice to them, the 74 million that voted for him, and the country as a whole.

He failed to produce clear evidence of voter fraud. Voter fraud that would have been of consequence. His accomplishments were for naught because he not only had a biased media and Big Tech controlling the narrative, but because he lied and boasted so often, and bullied so much as to anger even his own supporters.

He will be gone in two weeks and should not become the future standard bearer for his party. Someone will have to come forward to respectfully lead and thwart the threat of socialism. Now that Biden has gained control of Congress, we shall see how far left he goes. If he puts left hardliners in Cabinet positions now, I have reason to fear for our country’s future.

With rare exception, all politicos suck!

    Oh, I quite agree Lee.

I just wish he'd stop the BS and make it unambiguously clear that he accepts the decision. That shaded statement only gives the Qanon whackos more shlt to chew on. Most of those silly bastards still "Trust The Plan" and think that Trump is invincible.

Trump was screwed over four years, and Marxist-Globalist-Deep State cabal deprived the country of the full an unencumbered efforts of a duly elected President. I get that.

But while he held the reigns of power, he did nothing of substance to the confront treasonously villainous Congressional actors, of both parties, and Fifth Columnist administration officials. Specifically, I am referring to Messrs Sessions, Wray, Barr and Esper.

Rather, in response he just rudely shot-off his big mouth, but offered little else. Should I believe that as an automatic lame duck President, his powers and abilities to effectively handle these subversives would be increased? I think not. Four more years of Trump will only give us four more years of false hope, and only deliver the illusion hope of stability and security.

Sometime I ascribe the reason for this mess to the "Spirit of the Age," and that Trump is just a predestined character to perform his designated role in destiny.

I felt compelled to make a brief comment on the protestors that breached the White House. I was so disappointed & surprised. Words don't come to mind that would justify this kind of action from the Patriots.

With that being said, what we saw was a symptom of a bigger problem we have in America. Violence has taken place over the course of 10 months since the inception of the lockdowns. Floyd's death is a symptom of what has taken place in our country over decades. Trump was not elected because he was a politician, he was elected as a business man. Yesterday's tragic events reflects that. Trump disappointed me and so did the Republicans.

Let's look at why we are here. The folks on the right have felt shut out of the conversation by censorship from the social media who has controlled the narrative(s). The right felt that the election was stolen and the courts would not view the evidence presented. The cancel culture stripped people of their rights to voice their opinion and to sell a product that was different from the lefts ideology. Then throughout this 2020, we get a pandemic. It shut the economy down, people were shut-in and people died. Business owners lost their livelihood, children commissioned to learn remotely, families struggling financially and BLM/Antifa terrorised our country and burned down cities.

Lockdowns, isolation, shut out of the conversation, economic loss, loss of family members, and violence have brought us to what we saw yesterday. History will not be kind to the patriots as we move forward. Yes, I have seen and heard the theories that Antifa led that charge, if that was true, the patriots would have been hero's if they recognized that and stepped back and allowed them to do what they do best, create a narrative.

    Today I am saddened....

    SPOT ON!

And, if Biden moves further left with remaining Marxist / Socialist Cabinet / staffing picks, there will be no 'healing'. Enough of the heated rhetoric by all sides. We are being destroyed from within!

    Happy New Year shortstuff.

Yours is a wonderful encapsulation of the circumstances; longstanding conditions which now bring us to the brink of self-destruction.

If I may, just a brief point.

In my mind, the evidence that the 2020 Presidential election was full of fraud seems compelling. Regrettably, a full airing of that evidence in a credible, Constitutionally-prescribed forum has not been, and apparently will not, be permitted. Yesterday's Joint Senate and House proceedings were in part, Constitutionally designed to address such concerns.

Therefore, in light of the preemptive attitude of McConnell, and the predisposition of Pence not to fully engage the world of Constitutionality, many of the 75 million Trump voters obviously felt, and still feel, disenfranchised.

With that said, I believe that offensive violence, whether from BLM, Antifa, or MAGA people, has no role in a fully functioning democracy. But, when the prescribed legal avenues no longer fully avail themselves to a heretofore free people, those people may look to alternate channels to reclaim their rights.

Simply put, how does one convince the perceptibly aggrieved to faithfully rely on a channel of corrective redress, when that specific channel is itself the subject of corruptive concerns, and those concerns are either dismissed, marginalized, or ridiculed?

Perhaps if the system had given to the Trump voters the same degree of respect and response previously and properly lent to Leftist actors, confidence in America's voting system would have been restored, and Capitol Hill would have been a shrine to democracy and not a bedlam of horror?

It is frightening to imagine the aftermath of all that has happened. But we need to remind ourselves that this leftist movement has been in the making for many years, if not decades. This 2020 brought us a recipe for their agenda to come to fruition.

Sadly, the left is at this moment going after those who supported Trump. I am hearing it will be ugly in 2021. And Biden wants unity, NOPE as his speech today just merely added more fuel to the fire.

Unity would sound like this, "all parties, all Americans no matter race - creed - or color, let's join as one Americans!" You know who comes to mind at this moment, Maxine Waters when she spoke in a public forum to go out and harass all the Republican politicians and their family's no matter where you see them and disrupt in public places. It's ok for her to insight violence...

Happy New Year's Lee, oh FYI, I am changing my affiliation from Republican to Blank...

Unity, tolerance, inclusiveness, compassion not on display today

Gaining the executive and legislative branches of government should have been reason enough for the left to celebrate and offer an olive branch to their vanquished opponents in their quest for unity.

Trump has been a dead-man-walking since election day – and rightfully so. His despicable 11th hour antics and inciting the Capitol riot should disgust his strongest supporter. However, e has acquiesced to a peaceful transition and will be gone in 13 days.

That is not good enough for the vindictive left mainstream media, bloodthirsty Democratic Party politicos and even Biden the self-proclaimed Unifier. Biden touts unity and the cancel culture left portend themselves to be the party of tolerance, inclusiveness, compassion – purity politics. Really?

In reading and listening to today’s left leaning media outlets, Trump is perceived as a ‘clear and present danger’ who must be removed from office immediately as this ‘wacko’ has the nuclear codes in his possession.

    Today’s Buffalo News editorial reports:

Amplified by the amoral megaphones of social media, personalities like Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Rush Limbaugh, and Bill O’Reilly, foment division and distrust, through innuendo, distortion, and falsehood. Their fingerprints, and those of their kin, can be found on the backs of Wednesday’s rioters.

Sounds like free speech / opinion are under attack? 74 million Trump voters have become complicit in this tragedy? Is this what is to be expected under Biden’s unification plan – you have nothing to fear if you agree with us, or stay silent?

Representative Tom Reed has ‘leaned’ on Trump’s promise of an orderly transition. Calls for Trump’s early removal could further incite the Trump supporters. Does the left really care when violence is incited by it’s side? Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, et al, do they care? Since when does two stupids make a smart?

The breaching of the Capitol impact far outweighs the summer riots of Antifa and BLM but should not be dismissed by the mainstream media as ‘peaceful protests’ with limited damage to property and personal safety. The great majority in both political parties are not advocating violence. However, violence begets violence and those that advocate to defund the police are true boneheads.

Hypocrisy to the max! What have we gained?

    Scared? You should be!

This is exactly why no one out side the two controlling parties will ever remain in office. Whether its starting at the lowest level - or breaking all the norms and winning the White House .

The #DemControllers and their loyalist followers are the only ones who fight for their agenda or candidates/incumbents no matter what.

"Trump has been a dead-man-walking since election day – and rightfully so. His despicable 11th hour antics and inciting the Capitol riot should disgust his strongest supporter. However, e has acquiesced to a peaceful transition and will be gone in 13 days."

Through out his 4 years in office - President Trump has never enjoyed the level of support the least liked Democrat has. How quick people forget - excuse - dismiss every thing that has been done against our President - his family - his admin and anyone who supports them.

If I could afford to take my family to another nation - one where politics doesn't rule and intrude on every day life - I would be gone. I will try now harder than I have to be non-political and disallow any politics from entering my home or conversations.

So sorry to hear from an individual who I knew as a fighter and never thought I would see waving the white flag of surrender to oppression and walk quietly into the night. Especially an individual when in politics fought the same type of attack he and his family sustained as Trump and his family has.

You have played right into the far-left’s game plan of silencing the opposition. They want to stifle free speech, transform the constitution, and bring a form of government to America that has consistently failed in other countries.

Did you really expect the biased mainstream media to recognize any Trump accomplishments – where there were many. They focused on his shortcomings (and there were many) to delegitimize his presidency even before he took office and to undermine and discredit him in his entire time in office. But to not recognize his egregious behavior since the election would be disingenuous and reckless. He caused his own downfall and disappointed many of his supporters.

It will be no better under Biden and his supporters who portend to be this tolerant, inclusive, compassionate group who are calling for Trumps head and labeling his 75 million supporters as deranged, racist deplorables. "Come into my web said the spider to the fly!"

Therefore 4248, so sorry to hear you're walking away from holding the left accountable. Should the Marxist socialist agenda prevail it will because opposition was silenced.
They should all be held accountable.

There is a movement by the left to remove 136 Congressional members from office who in any way participated in supporting Trump. I would seriously consider signing a petition of removal if it encompassed all 535 Congressional representatives.

We didn’t always agree when you were in the political arena, but since you have become older and more independent politically, you have to agree:

With rare exception, all politicos suck.

    1933 Germany:

    "Establishing Control of the Press

When Adolf Hitler took power in 1933, the Nazis controlled less than three percent of Germany’s 4,700 papers.

The elimination of the German multi-party political system brought about the demise of hundreds of newspapers produced by outlawed political parties. It also allowed the state to seize the printing plants and equipment of the Communist and Social Democratic Parties, which were often turned over directly to the Nazi Party. In the following months, the Nazis established control or exerted influence over independent press organs.

During the first weeks of 1933, the Nazi regime deployed the radio, press, and newsreels to stoke fears of a pending “Communist uprising,” then channeled popular anxieties into political measures that eradicated civil liberties and democracy. SA (Storm Troopers) and members of the Nazi elite paramilitary formation, the SS, took to the streets to brutalize or arrest political opponents and incarcerate them in hastily established detention centers and concentration camps. Nazi thugs broke into opposing political party offices, destroying printing presses and newspapers.

Sometimes using holding companies to disguise new ownership, executives of the Nazi Party-owned publishing house, Franz Eher, established a huge empire that drove out competition and purchased newspapers at below-market prices. Some independent newspapers, particularly conservative newspapers and non-political illustrated weeklies, accommodated to the regime through self-censorship or initiative in dealing with approved topics."

    Clear and present danger

When people are dying from Covid, jobless, hurting financially, in danger of being evicted from apartments or losing homes, are you honestly in a position to consider Trump as the clear and present danger to America? A disgraced man who has only eight more days to serve in office.

Do you possibly consider the danger equally lies in a Democratic Party, Big Tech, and a biased mainstream media so obsessed to not only destroy Trump, making him ineligible to consider running for election in the future?

A left so obsessed with power now and seeking control as to petition any Trump Congressional representative to resign, holding them to blame as well for the disgraceful Capitol riot.

A left so obsessed in destroying the Republican Party to dare threaten vice president Pence to enact the 25th amendment to remove Trump from office; or else! Using that ‘no’ vote as a cudgel in the future to ostracize that individual and lessen their future chance of election victory. Politics at its worst!

Does it not bother you that free speech and opinion are under attack by Big Tech, the mainstream media, and the left? Are we next to be censured by the same party that advocates purity politics, tolerance, inclusion, and compassion?

Do you now feel like you have gained more freedom, feel more secure, feel more optimistic, with the coming administration – especially if it heads more to the left and embraces Marxist – socialism?

Did we just jump out of the frying pan into the fire? I am not seeing much happening in the way of ‘healing’, but a whole lot of intimidation and vindictiveness.

    We are so screwed!

These are the words of Rick Klein, ABC News Political Director: Those words are among the most dangerous that I have ever read:

"Trump will be an ex-president in 13 days. The fact is that getting rid of Trump is the easy part. Cleansing the movement he commands is going to be something else."---Rick Klein, ABC NEWS Political Director
Those words are among the most dangerous that I have ever read. That comment, IMHO, smacks of Hitler's post-Weimar Germany, Stalin's purges, and Mao's Cultural Revolution.

    Just sayin'.
