This Fox News exit poll question result may be an indicator of the Michigan result tonight:

"Do you have confidence in the fairness of the Democrat nomination process?"

    Little Confidence: 21%

    No Confidence: 10%

Assuming the 31% represents a majority of Sanders voters, Bernie is screwed tonight.

While presidential candidates are cancelling debates, school and government closings are taking place, the public is panicking, Nancy Pelosi stands firm amid calls to close Capitol.

While Bernie Sanders on primary outlook declared: “I'm feeling pretty good”, he gets clobbered.

Dems are condemning Trump's proposed payroll tax cut after previously supporting Obama's:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is working with Democratic leaders on their own stimulus package, and has suggested that a payroll cut likely won't be included because it amounts to “tax cuts for major corporations.”

However, in a 2011 press release, Pelosi called a brief extension of Obama's payroll tax cut a "victory for all Americans" and said it would put "nearly $40 per paycheck in the pockets of the average family."

While calling Trump the dumb ass, the Dems just keep tripping over their tongues.

In undergraduate school, I minored in journalism and particularly excelled in press history.

I remember the discussions about the effects 1938 CBS Mercury Theater on the Air broadcast of H.G. Wells "War of the Worlds" had on the nation and how the medium of radio could unintentionally spread panic.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs0K4ApWl4g

I also remember the discussion about the Hutchinson Commission, which stressed the need for accurate and socially responsible reporting.

In the last last *four years, we have seen the promulgation of "Fake News," and a Main Stream Media entirely uncritical about Leftist allegations concerning Russia, Ukraine, and Impeachment.

More alarming, I have lived through some truly scary days. The week of the Cuban Missile Crisis, November 22-25, 1963, March 30, 1981 and September 11, 2001 come to my mind. However, I have never the hysteria that is attached to the news coverage of the Coronavirus outbreak.

Let me be clear, I am not minimizing the dangers of the pandemic, and I do advocate everything possible to confront the dangers, stem the spread, heal the sick, and produce a vaccine.

With that said, I must ask what is served by what is in my opinion, 24-hour non-stop news coverage, weighted with political spin seemingly aimed more at destabilizing the international financial markets and ending the Trump Presidency, than addressing and satisfactorily working the problem?

In that connection, just what happened to the very sensible template established by the Hutchinson Commission?

I just wonder what the impact on world peace, human survival, the national psyche, and world economy would have been had such news coverage had existed in 1962?

    Just some food for thought.

Bernie Sanders is a ‘dead man walking’ and he has to know it.

America for the most part, even the moderates in the Democratic Party. Is not buying his what he is selling – especially those that have to pay the bills for his Marxist ideology.

Unfortunately, what he declared today at his presser was true. He has many of today’s generation hooked on his free stuff ideology. Especially today’s educated, liberal youth.

I was at a Christmas gathering at the home of a !00% Democrat Party affiliated family. I was in a conversation with another elderly gentleman (both of us born in the 1930’s) about the old days – everything but politics. Two grandsons (early 30's) of the other man (their grandfather) hearing our conversation interjected that is was ‘our generation that f’ed up their generation’.

The grandfather was visibly upset, I merely asked how he could possibly make that statement considering his family provided him with a good life, a good education and where both he and his brother have successful careers – the one an engineer, the other runs a heating / cooling business.

How could he even say that to two old geezers who had been retired for 20 years. And yes, they are Bernie supporters. There was no reply from either of today’s so-called ‘elitists’. I simply turned to their grandfather and declared, “As I was saying…”

Ah, today’s youth is so oppressed. We old farts had life so easy; brought up in WWII, living through the Korea Conflict, Vietnam War, the Cold war, recessions, 9-11, etc. But we f’ed up their generation.

It is the difference in expectations.

We expected to confront life; they expect and demand a comforting life.

I thought that the Democrat Party was concerned about voter disenfranchisement, so what is this all about?

Coronavirus Outbreak: A Cascade of Warnings, Heard but Unheeded

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=spartandhp

Unfortunately, a report from the New York Times, a biased, liberal agenda media outlet with a mindset to undermine President Trump.

What this report says to me is that America has been asleep at the wheel for some time. Resources wasted on liberal agendas that should have been used to protect the best interest of law-abiding American citizens.

Ilhan Omar praises Trump's 'incredible' response to coronavirus pandemic

Gregg ReBy Gregg Re | Fox News

Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar unexpectedly praised President Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic on Wednesday night, saying it was "incredible and the right response in this critical time."

Omar, normally a staunch critic of the White House who herself has repeatedly drawn the president's ire, went on to quote Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., as saying "unprecedented times require unprecedented leadership" -- and, Omar added, "we are seeing that in our country right now."

"Finally, we should never let politics get in the way of good policy," Omar concluded. "This is a great start and hope others will be part of a united front to push for good policies that will help us work through the economic anxiety the country is feeling right now."

Omar was responding to a post by The Intercept's Lee Fang, who noted: "Trump suspending mortgage foreclosures, demanding cash payments to Americans, now invoking the Defense Production Act to force private firms to produce needed supplies is incredible. Kind of a shell shock for anyone who reported on any economic policies in the Obama years."

Ever hear of Ex Parte Milligan, and its relevance to martial law and the Constitutional right to a writ of habeas corpus?

This article from of all places a left-wing source, seems to suggest that some form of national martial law may be lurking in the background.
IF there is any truth to this, it is scary indeed...
