    Former Boston State Police Barracks

I wonder what the new board members have in mind. Only two options in my opinion.

    1) Some type of user-friendly rec. center for all residents to enjoy.

    2) Sell it, put the proceeds back in the town coffers and get the property back on the tax rolls.

    Any other suggestions?????
I never said I had no idea about most of the things you said I said I had no idea about.

    Old and past its prime.

The town built the state a new one, which it leases to them as before.

Has anyone expressed interest in the building? Either private sector or organizationally from with-in the town?

Heck if it were in the city and had potential it could be sold to a political connection for a buck then leased back to the city

Make it an Erie County DMV/auto bureau office? It would bridge the gap between ECC South and the Delevan location.

I'd love to see a Mighty Taco go in there. We have to drive 5 miles to get to the closest one at this point. I just can't get enough Super Mighties but then again I can't imagine anything else that could survive in that location long enough to return tax revenues back to us.

There wasn't a donut or coffee shop close enough. I believe they tied in the
location, further North, to be closer to the newest Timmies that opened near the 219 on/off ramps. I don't think they had WI-FI in the old building either j/k

    Doesn't Make Sense

Why on earth did Boston build a new building for the State Police? Why couldn't they build their own? There's hardly anyone ever there!! What a waste of money. I see more sheriff's than I do state police!

Yea, because the sheriffs are looking for their escaped inmates from their correctional facilities! and...WNYRealist I thought you said you live in Lancaster? Spending a lot of time in the Boston area? or at least enough time to make a reasonable argument that you ONLY see sheriffs patrolling and not Troopers?

Oh Tango you silly silly person. First anyone that knows anything about the sheriffs (which you apparently do not) knows that the sheriffs corrections and police service components are independent of each other. They are not connected (www.erie.gov/sheriff). To clarify your inaccurate statement I did not state I ONLY see sheriff's. I simply said I see more sheriffs than troopers.

And as far as your reference to my time spent in Boston, yes I do spend a fair share of time there. I own property in the town and spend a fair amount of time there. Damn, I'm busted! I hope this satisfies your curiousity.
