Red face I learned my lesson...

When I came to this site I have never blogged before. I came with an agenda which failed miserably with people accusing me of deformation of character. I never intended on doing that and I apologize to whomever I offended. With saying that I ask the question, how many of you are doing the same thing I am? I found that blogging was very addicting. I ignored family and friends to be on the computer. that's no way to live. anyway, thanks for reading...nygirl

What is that? Is it anything like defamation of character?
Or does it mean you deformed into Andrea with the same agenda and IP address?

Don't worry about it! Really. You wrote what you felt and were attacked for it. That is common. I don't k now if people posted personal attacks. They probably did. That's the downside of being able to post messages anonymously: It makes snarky jerks of almost everyone. It's easy to be nasty when you have no identity.

But, if you can ignore the personal attacks (just put the jerks on IGNORE. It works wonders. They aren't worth your energy anyway), SUWNY is a site that encourages discussion/debate. It's good for your mind. And if you leave, only the jerks will be left. That would be sad.

FYI, this is not blogging. This is a message board or discussion board, not a blog.

    thanks for the nice comments

I was up all night worried that there could be some possible chance that I could be sued for the thread I started. I have a family, I can't afford to be sued, especially for a doctor who could care less about me. I asked wnyres multiple times to just take the whole thread out. he said that I don't need to worry. maybe I will sleep tonight....

Toughen up NYGirl. No one insulted you as far as I know, except Stevenco, and he insults almost everyone.

I'm the one that brought up "defamation of character"; no reason to go into details here, it's all in the other thread.

You came here with an agenda (which is absolutely fine, btw), yet, when people questioned it, you wilted up. Give it another shot, you can do it.

ANYONE can be tough on the internet. ANYONE.

Having never been attacked here myself it's kind of hard for me to put myself in your position. However I will offer some encouraging words.

Sarcasm is rampant here as well...
(it runs in my family too!)

Typos are typos.. use spell check if possible!

I went looking for a picture of a deformed character, and came up with this:
