Documents reveal 'shadow government'
Freedom of Information request puts 1,000 new pages online

About 1,000 documents obtained in a Freedom of Information Act request to the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America show the White House is engaging in collaborative relations with Mexico and Canada outside the U.S. Constitution, says WND columnist and author Jerome Corsi.
"The documents give clear evidence that the Bush administration has created a 'shadow government,'" Corsi said.

Bureaucrats from agencies throughout the Bush administration are meeting regularly with their counterpart bureaucrats in the Canadian and Mexican governments to engage in a broad rewriting of U.S. administrative law and regulations into a new trilateral North American configuration, Corsi contends.
"We have hundreds of pages of e-mails from U.S. executive branch administrators who are copying the e-mail to somewhere between 25 to 100 people, a third of whom are in the U.S. bureaucracy, a third of whom are in the Mexican bureaucracy and a third of whom are in the Canadian bureaucracy," said Corsi.
"They are sharing their laws and regulations so we can 'harmonize' and 'integrate' our laws into a North American structure, not a USA structure."
Corsi claims the process is well along the way.
"This is totally outside the U.S. Constitution, virtually an executive branch coup d'etat," he said. "SPP is creating new trilateral memoranda of understanding and mutual agreements which should be submitted to Senate for two-thirds votes as international treaties."
Corsi said the documentation he received is missing key pieces.
"We received very few actual agreements, though many are referenced," he said. "Many of the work plans described lack the work products which the groups say they produced."
How come only 4 Congressmen have brought up the North American Union during an election year? With all the information provided by the Freedom of Information Act, not one US Senator has come to the forefront regarding this issue!

North American Union Working Groups Quietly on the Rise

President George W. Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox, and then-Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin met in Waco, Texas, on March 23, 2005 and rolled out plans to create a North American Union (NAU). Although not yet official, newly released documents verify the existence of working groups that are carrying out this agenda.
Judicial Watch, an educational foundation that promotes transparency, accountability, and integrity in government and law, has released documents that provide evidence that the North American Union is slowly beginning to take effect in the United States. According to an article by U.S. Newswire, working groups — such as the North American Pandemic Influenza Working Group and the Working Group on Electronic Commerce, Information and Communications Technologies — have already come into existence and maintain offices in the Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C.

Ironically, it just isn't Bush that supports a North American Union. It is the leadership of BOTH parties. So you can include the Howard Dean's, the Hillary Clintons along with the Trent Lotts and Tom Reynolds in this debate. Both parties are guilty on this issue!
Why do Americans want the US and President Bush to not act as a world power and leave Iraq, and in the same breath say the United State should synchronize itself with the rest of the world, like most in the European Union.

You were not told that U.S. Newswire is not a news gathering organization like AP, UPI, Reuters, etc. If you want something distributed as a news story, you pay them and they send it around the world. U.S. Newswire is an advertising agency. Check out their web page andread what it says on the banner.

You do realize that NAFTA creates jobs, lowers the price of consumer goods, increases trade, and raises the standard of living.
A singular nation that voluntarily acts in conjuction with other countries when it bests suits its national interests.
I have no problem with us joining with Canada because we are both first world nations (and personally I like Canadians), but NEVER with Mexico for obvious reasons that I'm sure Habermill is familar with living where he does.
