    Where's the Foley thread?

Did I miss the meeting where we agreed not to discuss this?

Try "Yet Another Poll About Priorities." There is also a thread called Reynolds vs. Foley, but it's not as active....

He's talking about the thread that's not here.

    Foley.

Libs wanting to pounce, but not wanting to trash a gay.

Conservs glad a perp went down; just waiting for the indictment and conviction.

The Dems are worried about a backlash, a la 2002.

The Repubs are stunned by the "exposes" popping up around the country.

Most must be too stunned to argue.

Who said he was gay...must be wishful thinking on the right. Too stunned or pehaps too stoned by the pharmicutical companies to do anything...jk

Do some reading. Watch/listen to some news.

Then come back and add something of value.

Alleged maybe...show me it in print where it said he admitted it...he did not deny but he did not admit, he did admit an alcohol problem but I don't see you blaming that.

The panel on FoxNews were all shaking their heads in agreement that it was common knowledge in DC that he was gay, but he was never open about it.

The alcohol angle was something new to them.

That's a bizarre aspect of the entire bizarre episode.

The only logic I can see (and this is real faint) is that it may be motivated by the same thinking that launched the lawsuit to force the Boy Scouts to allow gays as Scoutmasters.

I know that a pedophile is not considered homosexual. Maybe a doctor could make the differences clear, but a homosexual does not prey on anybody. Why a pedophile would prefer young men or boys is somethig else.

The real damage here is what's done to all those young people who believe in the government and the nobility of a good cause. And they were afraid of the consequences of displeasing Foley. This should have been investigated and stopped a long time ago when the firsr deviant signs appeared with Foley.

Where on earth do you get your information?
Care to share some insight on why homosexuals do not prey on people and
    why homosexuals are not pedophiles?
    Show us the studies.

I do not for one minute excuse the actions of Mr. Foley and am glad he is gone.
What damage done? The media is constantly blasting the ills and "Culture of Corruption" about the government. how can this inflict further misconceptions?

How do you know they where afraid of Foley? All they had to do was tell someone. Anyone at all would have been better. We teach our children from the day they are born to shout as loud as they can when approached by someone they do not know or are being accosted.
Are you saying our system of teaching self defense to our children is not working? They are not getting the message and putting it into action?
