A high bid of $6.1 million has snared Buffalo's Dulski Federal Building via a government-sponsored online auction.
A bidder using the online identity of "ABCDEFGH" is the apparent winner with a bid recorded at 8:58 a.m. Friday. The timing of the bid is key because any offer put in between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. EDT would have automatically extended Internet bidding until 3 p.m. today.
The 15-story, 470,000-square-foot office building, located at 111 W. Huron St. at Delaware Avenue, went on the block Aug. 1. Over the past 39 days, 17 bids were recorded.
While the identity of the buyer probably won't be known for at least two weeks, when the General Services Administration officially releases the building, it is clear the mystery bidder was serious about gaining control of the building.

People who wonder if the glass is half empty or full miss the point. The glass is refillable.
There's a 14 year-old who calls himself ABCDEFGH having a good laugh right now.
