Finally, and correct me if you think I'm wrong -- but I get the feeling that if the assessor had said the land would be assessed lowed than the $940k sale price, that many of you would be angry. But, now he has indicated that it will, likely, be assessed for that amount....yet you're still all up in arms.
we agree with Dave Marrano and respect his decision on that one. I believe it was 20 acres. Could be wrong, but that is the number I heard.

In regards to how much land was conveyed; anywhere from 17-1/2 to 20 acres.

Thumbs down Bottom line for me

The bottom line on this sale, to me =

Conflict of Interests are obvious - Lancaster's Town Supervisor Bob Giza should step down! Free meals + campaign money = Gifts!

    1. Lancaster Supervisor and the Town Board quietly pushed through the paper work to approve this project, with no public input.
    2. The Town Supervisor sat on the IDA Board and approved all their tax breaks!
    3. Tax dollars were used to finance the Lan Airport deal.
    4. Tax dollars will be used to pay every step of expansion and improvements included.
    5. The land was purchased with tax dollars.
The majority of the project and all their assets will be barely taxed because of tax breaks arranged by Supervisor/Chairman Bob Giza.

$13Million tax dollars approved - Millions of tax dollars will be uncollected because of tax breaks.

Residents were purposely excluded from input but will pay - through tax dollars one way or another. Our taxes keep rising because "IDA Political Favors", for contributors/supporters.

While telling residents to "Cool Down" the Supervisor was being treated to a V.I.P dinner at the airport. The residents were being walked in circles, while the ink dried on the contracts.

Lancaster's Code of Ethics, Lancaster's appointees to the Ethics Committee - Doesn't exist. In clear violation of Lancaster's own rules.

    When confronted by residents concerns:
To me, the man is arrogant and defiant enough to say,
"If anyone talks about me, I will run them out of Town."
#Dems play musical chairs + patronage and nepotism = entitlement !
