Question Town Supervisor should abstain from vote.

    Quote from:Buffalo Evening News:

Cipolla said the daughter of Town Supervisor Dennis H. Gabryszak works for a company owned by his sister, Penny, and not for Bella Vista. A letter from a resident suggested that Jennifer Gabryszak works for Bella Vista and that the supervisor should abstain from voting on the request to rezone 8.6 acres for the development.
Cipolla said Jennifer Gabryszak is a commercial space lease representative for Innovative Realty Services, which is in the same Transit Road building as Bella Vista. Penny Cipolla and Jennifer Gabryszak were listed as contacts under the "Commercial Leasing Department" on Bella Vista's Web site Tuesday.(end quote)

It seems The Supervisor needs to take a stand . If he is going to run for a higher office , he should really think this one out . In smallsville many Political people are too close to special interest groups and enjoy their financial support .

However, even if a loose link between his vote and his daughters job can be made, do we want to elevate him to a greater position of trust ? Has this company also contributed to the Supervisor and or his Party?

This vary same Developer, named in the News article, controls the Endorsements of the Local Conservative Party. Is this all just coincidence , or just another story the Buffalo News stumbled on?

Many people complain about the overly persuasive influence some enjoy with our elected officials. Is this a prime example of what we dislike most ?

Self serving Elected officials sliding deals through for those that support the career's? What do you think ?
#Dems play musical chairs + patronage and nepotism = entitlement !

Seems odd how deep some familes are working in the town of cheektowaga. Maybe that's why the town is no longer cheektowaga. It's more of a stripmall alley and traffic. You have families deep in politics and the same families involved in development stuff.

I think it has to stop because it's raising up the cost to live in our town and over developing areas that just don't need it.

Must I say do we need another empty strip plaza to drive by?
