Distributed Heating in Downtown Buffalo! Stick it to National Fuel!!!

The Buffalo News did an article a few months ago on distributed heating. What is distributed heating? Its when a small fuel cell or generator is put in the basement of a building to generate heat and electricity and then that energy is shared amongst a network of downtown buildings.

There are many cities that have created low cost utilities for their downtown businesses and yes at less cost than Niagara Mohawk or National Fuel.

Since National Fuel betrayed the citizens of Buffalo....isn't it our patriotic duty to band together and make distributed heating a reality.

It would be nice to drive National Fuel's customers out of downtown Buffalo as punishment for trying to extort money from the city, for being a poor corporate citizen, for leaving behind brownfields and for abandoning our downtown core.

We owe it to the citizens of Buffalo to create alternatives and demand good corporate citizenship!
