    I am challenging Rez

Okay, Let's recap on a conversation in a different thread to spark a new topic. Yes, I am challenging Rez to come up with how much Cheektowaga is to receive in state aid this year. I didn't have to, but gave up the total of the City of Buffalo ($142.3 million) .... Rez, can you google the Town of Cheektowaga to compare the difference? (since you asked if "anyone" knew the difference. "How much more" being the keywords.

    Here's the conversation:

WNYresident: It's the community's money. I know I pay a lot in income tax and fed tax. I know over the years buffalo has recieved a LOT of aid so I can say MY money too.

woodstock: And Cheektovagas doesn't get MY money via state aid too? It's a wash. And a mute point.

WNYresident: Does anyone know who gets more aid? buffalo or Cheektowaga?

woodstock: I'll tell you what, I'll give you Buffalo if you search for Cheektowaga's total.

2006 State aid to Buffalo totals $142.3 million. Your turn Rez.

So rez? What's the word? "Deal or no Deal"? Do you have the goods on how much Cheektovagas will receive in state aid this year? I know you know that I am straight goods on the COB. (what ppl PM you with doesn't count). Are you in or out? I'd like to see linkage.

    A wash?

Which area has a higher population of people on assistance over all if you were going to take a guess. Round up a few hundred thousand it's ok.

I bet you dollars for donuts that Cheektowaga got less than $142 mil.

All you have to do is come up with a total of "how much" Cheektowaga is receiving in state aid for this to work. "Dollars for donuts" don't mean sht if you don't have straight goods. If you don't show up here with the Cheektowaga total of state aid for 2006 (with a link YOU searched) then I won't deliver a dozen donuts to your shop. Come'on Rez. What's "a dozen of donuts" between old friends? hmmmmm?

It's a waste of time. I believe that over all buffalo recieves much more aid over all than most towns in the area. My belief is based on what I have listened to and read in the paper.

    Anyone?

If you were going to take a wild guess would you say Buffalo recieve more "Aid over all" than lets say cheektowaga? Not that there's anything wrong with recieving aid.

Woodstock is challenging Rez to a dozen donuts if "rez" can google the "straight goods" on how much the Town of Cheektowaga is to recieve in state aid this year (2006)

no matter what is "beleived", the challenge is "straight goods" in a research.

"ANYONE" makes this invalid. It's you and me rez... "anyone" else doesn't count. The challenge is as the thread topic states... "I am challenging Rez" - come'on .... a dozen donuts is on the line!

Come on Rez.... it was your words saying it's "YOUR" money in a topic about the COB coppers. I switched to a new thread based on a "spin-off" - so I wanna know (for a dozen donuts) how much is the town of Cheektowaga going to receive in state aid this year. If you give the goods, you'll get a box of 12 donuts delivered by me.... personally. It's high-time we start living up to our words, don't you think? or is that worthy enough of another banning cuz I know you're hearing sht (once again) about why "woodstock" is back to posting. Yep, I have your number. (Some things are predictable).

So, are you up to the challenge or not? A dozen donuts for your post (and link) of how much the Town of Cheektowaga will receive is state aid for 2006. I gave you Buffalo's of $142 million. I'll give you one more.... Yonkers is set for $102,561,956 .... to be exact!

You forgot the 450 million in state aid to the buffalo schools.

Did you even consider that even if Rez didn't know about the 450 million, somebody (like myself) would have PM'ed him, tipping him off? You wouldn't have been the wiser.

Hey, woodstock - everybody knows the schools received 450 million, which probably exceeds ALL AID to the ALL the suburbs combined.....

....and we now brand Woodstock SUWNY Idiot of the Day!

    Congradulations, buddy. You earned it.

Yeah.... um, from Pataki - "Governor Ensures AIM Funds to be Directed to Restraining Property Taxes and Local Spending

Governor George E. Pataki today (April 11, 2006) announced that the enacted State Budget includes $26.4 million in new State aid for the City of Buffalo, an increase of 22.8 percent over last year's levels. The new aid includes second year funding from the Governor's Aid and Incentives for Municipalities (AIM) program, as well as additional unrestricted aid. State aid to Buffalo now totals $142.3 million. "

I also have a different "hard-copy" detailing the same amount. What MORE do YOU have????

But if you don't mind, I'd like to hear it from Rez since the title of this thread is that "I am challenging Rez" - we don't need to hear from anymore "poop boys", do we? Seeing as how much we're btchen about the pols having them, you think?

Apparently, you keep missing the part that says...

Duh, you assume I didn't think ppl would "tip" him off, why do you think I told batman that I'd like to HEAR it from rez? "Idiot of the day" That says a lot coming from a guy who NO LONGER LIVES IN THIS AREA. How soon ppl forget. You seem to have a lot to say for a guy who can't "talk" in citymouse's neighborhood w/o checking what will be the best "flight" into Buffalo. HA! How's AZ these days? Tell me, am I still an idiot?

I'll repeate for the reading-challenged members....
