    The point of political parties

What is the point of the political parties in WNY when they seem to intermingle on endorsements.

I hear where people vote thier party line even if the canidate isn't qualified for the job. Now over all doesn't that hurt WNY more than it helps?

If your party is supposed to be focused on your parties goals there is not reason to ever endorse another parties goals. Otherwise you should just be a member of that party to start with.

When did party lines start to get fuzzy in WNY?

Party lines got fuzzy when jobs got hard to find, I don't think there is such a thing as a political party that is not self serving.

NEW YORK STATE BOARD OF ELECTIONS

view the link I inserted above, the party line 9th to the right would probably IMO answer your question better.
