Do you even know what a political party is? They have certain beliefs/agendas. If you are a member of any political party then it would make sense that you agree with their agenda. Otherwise why would you be a part of that party? Therefore, you CAN judge all democrats the same way!!!!!

What SIDE to take? That would be grouping, which is exactly what we were discussing. Judging a group/political party. So what in the world were you arguing about?

Grouping comes from socialogy. Didn't you know that even in small groups people take sides? For example, a family or two individulas. Because they are different, accordingly, they have different views/opinions. It means they take sides on the same issue.

When it comes to bigger/larger groups, majority votes of the same views always win. This is how the "taking sides" game works in the real life. This is what politics is all about: taking sides on community living policies and proceedures. Does somebody want to loose political power? It's a game and somebody has to win and/or to loose. It comes naturally.

We were talking about Political parties, Democratic party in particular. I mentioned sides because you did. I was trying to help you understand that the political party is a group. They are not taking sides amongst themselves. They are united in there agenda/beliefs. Therefore the comparison you offer does not apply here.

P.S. don't make this conversation too complicated. Simplify: think about a political party as a club. "Do you want to belong to it and why? What's here for me?" are good questions to ask.

Don't let Zanna here you say that. She thinks you can't judge them all the same.

I am very leary of any of the political parties. I have registered myself as independent (not the party), simply independent of any party. If I absolutely had to choose, I would go with the Republican party. Lackawanna politics has soured me against the Democrats.
