if you could not have bio children and could afford it, would you adopt?

so either way - I know a lot of people who have adopted children and babies domestically and internationally - would you?

If you could afford it - would you either way?

    why or why not?

Can you add a not sure option. I really don't know, only because I don't know if I am strong enough to handle the psychological aspects adopted children deal with. I have heard stories about adopted children having pts and other issues.

I would adopt in a heartbeat. After suffering from infertility for 5 years, adoption was on the table. We were eventually able to conceive.

Actually, adoption is probably still on our table. If I decide I want one more...the last time I was pregnant it really wrecked my back.

I dont think I can add to a poll once it has been posted, but good point of course. I would be curious as to if the percentage is that much higher than bio children?

I would adopt a younger child

rather than a teenager at this time, if I were younger it would not matter. There are so many people who would love to have children, and so many people who are having children and don't want them. It isn't fair is it?

I think adoption is wonderful. Loving a child has nothing to do with biological.

    I would absolutely adopt

what I have found is that people usually get pregnant after they stop trying.. or rather stressing about it....funny how that works
