Still 34% voted against the endorsed candidate does not bode well for her. Although like the survey that the TS sent out it may not mean much based on the % of voters that turned out for the primary.

This was only the independence party primary. So what happened with Kindel? He didn't even get his own party's line.

I truly was gonna "write you in", but then I heard that you were not gonna reciprocate and "write me in", so I said screw it. Oh, and one other thing, I didn't, even go to the polls.

But, seriously, who they heck are Alice Kryzan and Jonathan Lavelle? Never heard of either one. Should I care?

Alice ran unsuccessfully for the NYS Senate and I believe is an attorney specializing in environmental issues. I have met her and she seems pleasant, but what type of governmental leader she will be, I have no idea. Now that the primaries are over, hopefully we will hear more from the cndidates on all of the issues that confront the Town.

Alice ran for Congress last year. She beat Jack Davis and the kid John Powers in the primary and then lost to Chris Lee in the general.

This was the Independence Party primary, not the dems. There was no dem primary.

Does he have the conservative line? I heard Weinstein is a little worried about how many votes he might pull, giving Kryzan the edge.

Mohan and Weinstein were at the senior center today for their big meeting and did not come off well. The seniors really gave it to them. Typically, Weinstein let Mohan take all the heat (not that he doesn't deserve it but so does BW) and the seniors called him on it! The seniors voted down everything Mohan and BW proposed.
