    Flipped!

I didn't see this elsewhere on these boards so I thought that here would be a good place to post it! I figured with the recent "scam" sighting, this couldn't be a better fit for a post!

And of course, this is another one of Michele Johnson's accomplishments.

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

"Flipped" Documentary Premiere at the Adam Mickiewicz Library and
Dramatic Circle at 612 Fillmore Avenue on Thursday June 8th at 6PM

    To view the trailer: http://wnymedia.net/video/flippedtrailer.wmv

Buffalo, New York Monday, May 22nd at 9:00AM: Michele Johnson (Broadway
Fillmore Housing Court Liaison) and Nickel City Media proudly invite
and respectfully encourage you to attend the premiere of "Flipped", an
important expose about the frequently unethical yet marginally legal
practice of marketing and sales of houses through internet auctions.

"Flipping" is often fraught with false advertising, unethical business
practices, devastating financial losses, extended housing vacancies
leading to vandalism and demolitions by neglect, but tidy profits for
unscrupulous sellers and agents. Their targets are in the poorest areas of
the east and west sides of our city.

This documentary is an honest and emotional look at the truth about a
"victimless" crime and is a must-see for all local politicians and
concerned homeowners alike. There is a $5 admission charge and tickets will
be available at the door. The screening will begin promptly at 6PM and
there will be a question and answer period immediately following.

    Featuring:

    - Buffalo Housing Court Judge Henry Nowak
    - Buffalo Housing Inspector Tracy Krug
    - Broadway Fillmore Housing Court Liaison Michele Johnson
    - Nickel City Media & Entertainment's Marc Odien
    - Buffalo Common Councilman Nick Bonifacio
    - Many concerned east and west side residents

We must warn you in advance: this film may be difficult to watch, but
we urge you to see it and become informed! Together, as a community, we
can stop the losses and destruction caused by internet house flipping.

The 6:00 show is sold out. A second viewing was added at 7:30, which I believe still has space available.

Yes and only if someone tells me how to get there from my shop. I can leave here about 5:20.

I'm just curious but why can't we stream the movie so we reach a larger audience versus setting up small viewings?

It was very important for me to premiere it in the Fillmore district so the residents who are most affected and some who also are in the documentary have a chance to see it,It will be available for sale in the future,Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

I'll be #6, and my name is Jon. Let's just say my member name doesn't pronounce easily. I'll be working until 5:30, but I don't expect any complications. Look forward to seeing you guys!
