    So between Brown/Kearns...

So who do we think is best for WNY? Byron or Mickey?

I will go put a banner ad up on onlinebuffalo.com for who we think is better for the community.

Right now I'm leaning Kearns... I know I can vote seeing I don't live in buffalo.

It's that TV commercial Byron put together. Is crime down 7%?... it sounds like crime is going up not down.

Said he hired 126 new cops.. From what I hear is a lot retire and they were replaced.. there actually wasn't 126 "more" cops on the streets.. or did I hear wrong?...

AND the 5000 "ILLEGAL" guns from the streets... That's a lie isn't it. They may have bought back 1000's of guns but for the most part they were not illegal, correct?

The whole commercial seemed misleading... or do I have my facts incorrect?

There are exactly the same 650 cops on the street in the budget as there were 3 years ago. So, NO - it is a LIE, same as the "illegal guns" BS. Crime is part of my everyday life now, which it was not before Brown. Is he to blame? As long as he claims credit for crime-reduction, yes he is.

I want to give Kearns a chance; B.Clown had his chance - time for him to go back to Queens.

I think your facts are correct, Res.

I dont know if either one of them are gonna do anything worthwhile for Buffalo though.

    Anybody but Brown.

Is Kearns the ideal candidate? NO. Is he better than Brown? Absolutely!

Since the city relies so heavily on the entire state's tax dollars, I think the entire region should be able to vote in Buffalo politics.

It's not all browns fault though. The city started to decline long before he was mayor. Honestly a mayor isn't going to turn a city around the people who live in the city will have to do that.

The only truth would be the crime rate but that is a little skewed. The crime rate is done from past yaers, he's looking from 2007 to 2008. 2009 stats are not complete but we've already surpassed last years homicide rate, burglaries, rape and other crimes.

the 5,000 guns are not all illegal. Do we know how many are? NO. So he's contaminated the whole lot when he really doesn't know if even one is truely illegal.

$3,000,000,0000 in construction, that includes two-thirds of all projects done by Masiello. Most if not 80% are public projects , US Courthouse, Erie Canal harbor, City Hall reconstruction, Main Street reconstruction, JSCB School Construction, etc/ On top of that he has nowhere projects, Casino and Statler.

If you actually look at what he's done, you'll find nothing.

As long as there's a control board, I don't think you have to worry about that.

I don't believe the cotrol board is going anywhere anytime soon.
