    reopening the Caz

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Councilmember Mickey Kearns for making the grand reopening of the Cazenovia library a political grandstand to showboat for other elected "leaders" and hacking cronies.

Thanks also for leaving out an entire group of people who busted there asses to make the reopening possible. Nice Job Mickey!

after 5 months in office, your true colors shine like the rest of South Buffalo political suck-ups.

the reopening will be on may 23rd.

sorry, not when it will be a grandstand for politicians. its about the community working together to make it happen. Kearns' article in the South Buffalo News detailed more about the politicians and cronies instead of the real people who helped make this happen. all i see is a mutual admiration society of pols patting each other on the backs for a job well-done while some of them contributed to the library closing in the first place, starting with our assemblyman and legislator.

Thanks to Mickey for making this a political campaigning talking-point!

edited to add: the people who worked to get the library reopened, and pushed the book drive did it for the neighborhood. the pols did it to stand on their soap bax and credit themself & each other.

the reopening will be on may 23rd. it will open as a community library much like what was done in Lovejoy. the book drive added to what (little) amount the County left behind.
