Fans seeking to see at least a portion of the Buffalo Sabres and Ottawa Senators playoff series will have to rely on television feeds from Canada or the Outdoor Life Network (OLN).
The National Hockey League, in finalizing the schedule for the best-of-seven second-round Stanley Cup playoff series, announced games 1 and 4 will not be carried by the Sabres local broadcaster, the Madison Square Garden, or MSG Network.
TV coverage for those games -- scheduled for Friday, May 5 in Ottawa, and Thursday, May 11 in Buffalo, will be shown exclusively on CBC, and OLN, the NHL's network partners in Canada and the U.S., respectively. Both networks are available on Adelphia Communications Corp., however, only CBC is carried on basic cable. OLN is part of Adelphia's digital tier

People who wonder if the glass is half empty or full miss the point. The glass is refillable.
Maybe MSG is showing live coverage of the Rangers at the driving range?Originally Posted by steven

Again we see how Stupid-Bettman handles TV contracts. And they expect this idiot to get TV figured out for the league? Meanwhile, on another side of the coin, local standard-definition coverage always trumps high-definition coverage....including away games. Nobody in ANY home market has ever seen their team's live NHL game in high definition on a legal feed. Kinda makes you feel good about buying all that expensive hardware and paying those monthly bills, no?
OK....enough ranting...if enough people ask, will WGR sync their audio feed to the TV broadcast? It's a crime to watch w/out Jeanneret but I hate the delay....
