    Thank you hydrofracking

Terry Pegula paid for the Bills with profits from gas rights and hydrofracking . How is it so many new yorkers are so against hydrofracking yet pronounce Terry Pegula (king of fracking) to king of buffalo. Makes one wonder the low limits of the wny mind. Personally I am for hydrofracking but am amazed that the antifrackers are so for this new King. Go Bills. PS a winning team can make huge profits for Terry which could help pay for new drilling equipment which in turn could be sold to buy the Bisons. While Mr Pegula is at this high point he should influence the politicians to legalize fracking in nys.

Oh..you mean getting to and from the game. I thought you were talking about construction.

I actually think having it be a little difficult to get in and out for a game is a good thing. Because the bars are open late and Buffalo has no issue with being open on Sunday...people are going to have plenty of options before and after the game around the stadium to wait out the traffic.

I would either go to the bar or the casino personally. I am not sure if they can have one but if the casino could add a sports book...THAT WOULD BE HUGE.

I notice hos counterpart Cheekman has been silent in here. He's another one that only posts negative things about our sports teams
How odd! I don't believe I've ever posted about sports yet you know so much about my thoughts. Actually, I do believe in cleaning house and rebuilding. Unlike the Pegulas I would be 3 years into that process by now. And you can bet it would not have included Patty LaFontaine or Ted Nolan. Despite Patty's reputation around these parts he has a record of being a pain in the ass. Remember, he got here in the first place because he walked out on the Islanders...he was a poa at the end of his playing career here, he was a poa as an unpaid consultant to the Islanders and he was a poa here again. Ted Nolan is a joke pure and simple. I find it comical that many of the same radio people who pointed out years ago that he didn't use a system, blah blah are now making him out to be the second coming of Toe Blake. People, he was coaching in Latvia for cripes sake! If he was that great don't you think he would've been coaching some place on earth. And before you start the "black listed "crap look at his record. In 3 years here he had a divisional last place finish and league-wide last place finish, the last one so bad he wasn't even in the same time zone as the team in second to last. That said, I think the team will turn the corner starting next year. I do admire the Pegulas for the efforts downtown. If memory serves they've done it without taxpayer $$ or the " Buffalo Billion".

This love fest for Pegula reminds me of someone celebrating a good fart not knowing it will soon be followed by diahrea. Zuckerman's value just passed 200 billion. In 2019 someone like him will make Pegula or Pegula's estate an offer too high to refuse.

A good point and one that does not escape me. I'd rather have clean water than an NFL team.

    Wrong.

The beauty in Pegula owning both the Bills and the Sabres is they are now connected. There is no way in hell he would be able to sell or move the Bills without damaging the Sabres. Fans would protest and not buy tickets out of spite. Both teams would have to be packaged together for something like this happen...and that ain't happening.

Actually, I think it's Zuckerberg that's worth $200 billion. Zuckerman works at the corner deli. But it doesn't who is worth how much if Pegula doesn't want to sell & I rather doubt he bought 2 teams just to turn around and sell them.

I wish we could have both. I just think it is so ironic that so many wny's are so against fracking but kiss the ground the man who basically delivered fracking to the east coast walks on. I think if Fidel Castro bought the Bills and promised to keep them in buffalo we would all be smoking cuban cigars. Personally I have nothing against fracking, Pegula, or the Bills. Just making a point that if one trusts Pegula so much with our Bills how come so many can't trust him when he says fracking is safe.

Seen a perfect proposal for a "downtown" stadium today. I like it. Will fully use the rail line too... I am sure more will be out on this soon. It is one "downtown" plan that makes sense and can work!

That just means both get sold,..and the sabres fans, if that franchise doesn't move, will be licking the boots of the new owner for keeping them here while those fans express their anger at the new bills owner for moving the bills, and at Pegula for moving to Florida with galisano and trump.

You're right, it's Lackawanna I was thinking of. My apologies.

BTW, notice both of them have not been active in this thread??

Can we get a negative thread about the Bills so they can play, too?
