Holy Thursday @ The Broadway Market

Took a trip to the Broadway Market today. Thought I'd share some photos. There's plenty of sausage, horseradish, and baked goods for everyone, though, so head on over there yourselves!

It was nice down there but it seems to be thinning out a bit vendor wise.

    Solar ...

Great pics. Did you take these?

I went to the Broadway Market last weekend. It was my first time there. Got enough veal to feed a small army and some really good Italian desserts. I didn't know you could get a cannoli in Buffalo.

My tour guide didn't stop there. He took me over to see the Central Terminal too. Can't wait to see inside

Yup. No harm in snapping a few photos while shopping.

You'll starting seeing events posted here shortly. Although I'd strongly suggest taking one of the guided tours. Mark Lewandowski does an excellent job and knows a heck of a lot about the building and it's history. I try to tag along once a year so that I can refresh myself and I always learn something new.

I'll speak with my tour guide and see if he'd be interested in accompanying me. I can't remember how to get there .. hehehe.

Go ahead .. rub it in.

    I know ... it's pretty sad ...

I've lived such a sheltered existence here.

That was a nice slide presentation. As is almost always the case, times are a changin' and the Market just is not what it used to be.

I understand Basczinski's (sp?) is closing while I'm gone.

I guess the lack of my bi-weekly business was the last straw.
