Right here your paying the highest prices in the state. If we go back to the end of the pipeline bs why aren't the Indians paying more? Right now, indian gas in Irving @2.75 a gal over a dollar more at most stations here. Akron is more some white Owel keeping prices a little higher in Akron. Take a ride fill up screw these crooks around here. Gas for your gas grill just paid 10 bucks to fill up a 20lber.
Speed way stations are still the highest in the area.

Though gas prices are down overall since last year, Americans are still feeling the heat when it comes to paying for fuel. According to a recent survey, 78% of people feel like they’re spending more money on gas this year than last year, though prices at the pump have been on average about 6% lower.

The price of gas has substantial impact on the lives of Americans, whether it’s due to rising costs or budgeting frustration. GasBuddy’s 2023 Consumer Sentiment on Gasoline survey took a look at the impact of fuel prices on a few more areas of life

erie county brain trust of libs at these times will raise the price of gas in erie county come march of 2024 in a 6-5 vote to end the gas relief tax that was put into place in 2022 plus raise the tax 5 to 7 cents a gal. What a bunch.

Amendment to extend limits on taxing fuel sales in Erie County fails
Erie County lawmakers unanimously approved next year’s spending plan, the highlight of which includes a property tax cut for the first time in decades.
However, an amendment to extend limits on taxing gasoline and diesel fuel sales ultimately failed. Terrible. Really. There’s no more profit in the industry due to such crazy prices,” said Moe Sozo, owner and operator of SOZO Logistics LLC.
Since June of 2022, drivers have been enjoying no sales tax on gas or diesel purchased in Erie County on the first $2.00 per gallon.

That will change come March 2024 as, in a close 6-5 vote, the legislature eliminated the discount, allowing a four percent sales tax to be collected on the full price of a gallon of gas.

That outcome was one that Republican Legislator Jim Malczewski says he didn’t want to see.

“Everything you do costs a lot more,” Malczewski said. “The county has been very fortunate where we have had budget surpluses in the last two or three years specifically, and our caucus looked at that and tried to use the surpluses that we had as a way to leverage on leaving the tax as was.”

The 4 percent increase equates to about a 5-7 cents increase per gallon for drivers who fill up in Erie County.

That increase, trucking operator and owner Moe Ramadan says, might put him on the verge of closing.

Lockdown lifted at Attica Correctional Facility
“As it is, we’re not able to provide the lifestyle we used to be able to provide. It’s not profitable anymore since they’re looking out for the big fleet owners and the guys who have 20 and 30 trucks,” said Ramadan.

“It made sense to try and provide some additional relief to the residents. However, the county executive didn’t see that fit and he was concerned with the potential holes in the budget, which we just didn’t see with the surpluses that we had,” Malczewski said.

In response to that sentiment, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz said, “While I am disappointed that members of the legislature attempted to reverse an important technical correction regarding the gas tax holiday, in the end, financial wisdom prevailed.”

After falling last week, the nation’s average price of gasoline has returned to a rise, climbing 10.0 cents from a week ago to $3.34 per gallon yesterday according to GasBuddy® data compiled from more than 12 million individual price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country. The national average is up 22.0 cents from a month ago but 3.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 2.7 cents in the last week and stands at $4.03 per gallon—33 cents lower than one year ago.

More cuts by our good friends the towel heads.
After a weekend that saw Saudi Arabia announce an extension of their 1 million barrel per day production cut, oil prices were seeing slight losses, but remained near the highest level since November. In addition, OPEC+ members agreed to extend their own production cuts into the second quarter of 2024. On top of that, Russia announced it would also curb output by a half million barrels per day, but the market had been pricing in much of the news ahead of time. In early Monday trade, a barrel of West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down 38 cents to $79.59 per barrel, up over $3 from last week’s $76.07
