filled up at the res last night full tank $21.00 how can you go wrong your talking about 88 cents cheaper on a gal from the cheapest station around here.

Did anyone notice how most of the gas station crooks have been all been on the same page with prices. they must have a secret code.. 2.95 they were all at that price. then 2.92, 2.89, 2.85, and so on now they are all at about 2.78. now... go gas on camp $2.69 seen this today at least this station is not playing the game..

WNY area has some of the and gas prices in the nation .. I wonder how the investigation by the politicians is going on high prices in this area.

I believe the gas prices are high, in part, because of the greed of gad station owners. It should be very easy to obtain the figures for profit per gallon and compare it to the Syracuse area, for example. Ah, the City of Good Neighbors.

EQ, this has been going on for a long time around here with higher than normal gas prices. Its not hard now to figure out, the station owners are behind it and the politicians turn their back on it.. most likely they are getting paid off right into their war chest. You had only 1 county leg that wanted to look into the high prices and the rest would not back him they all crawled under their desks to hide. You have higgens he blames the pipe BS, Collins he said ny state taxes in our area call your rep and ? them on it see what they say more calls the better then don't vote for them when they run again.

Talked to my WNY transplant friends that would never come back to this area in NC, SC and FL they tell me gas prices fall everyday at least one cent or two cents a day...

Seneca Hawk $1.79 smoking joes $1.84 Syracuse $2.34 looks like the cheapest even the highest gas price their is still cheaper than or lowest...

seneca hawk today $1.77... diesel is another rip off in this area due to the gas station crooks not wanting to lower the prices..
Diesel price declines are finally outpacing gasoline as gasoline prices near their bottom and diesel plays a game of catch up.

diesel prices in the last week have dropped to $3.033/gal, from $3.121/gal a week ago, for a drop of 8.8c/gal. Meanwhile gasoline prices have fallen from $2.210/gal a week ago to $2.160/gal today, a five cent a gallon drop.

diesel prices nationally to drop to the $2.50-$2.75/gal region, with most states seeing at least another 25-35c decline over the next 2-3 weeks.

22 states.... Not here.... have seen diesel prices drop by double digits in the last week (over 10c/gal) while only 11 states have seen gasoline prices decline by double digits. Clearly, there's some catching up here by diesel prices....

NOCO on Transit and Clarence Center Rd. is charging $3.55 for diesel. $3.59 at the NOCO on Payne ave in NT. $3.34 for diesel at both Hi Quality and Thrifty's in Lockport. Whats wrong with these Newman Brothers? They are really taking advantage of WNY. Why are the NOCO boys always charging more than everyone else?

Sock puppet Gillibrand now asking for an "investigation". These clowns in office are so ineffective. What's it going to take to fire these a holes and find someone else to take over?

Do they really think they are pulling the wool over our eyes with these "investigations" leading to nothing. Start by looking at the god damn taxes we pay in this state.

Noco VP says end of the pipe line I think he smokes the pipe. This is the company holding up the prices in this area. So there is no other end of the pipe line in this nation..BS but wny BS.. a lot of this gas is trucked from PA and brought to this area. Highest gas prices in the country right here.. still cant get under 2.50 a gal as for this clown Gillibrand she is lost in space.
Another week, another decline in the national average. Gasoline prices fell an average of 6 cents per gallon in the last week, while diesel prices skidded 10 cents per gallon. A gallon of gasoline averaged $2.052/gal while diesel yielded an average $2.898/gal.

Why doesn't channel 2 just walk into the damn gas stations and ask to speak with the owners? This isn't a hard problem to figure out.

    1. How much are stations paying per gallon?
    2. How much are distributors paying per gallon?
    3. Compare to #1 and 2 to somewhere cheaper in the state.

remember about 10 years ago when the area had independent gas stations and gas was a lot cheaper then because of who can make the most money.. well the gas station owners in this area the major players forced these guys right out of town. then there is less comp and the owners group had control of the market. I remember delta sonic use to advertise they are the lowest is 3 mile area or we will beat that price.. what happened to that t sign. they also were 10 cents cheaper on gas if you got the wash now its 3 cents. They cry they don't make enough money but then again they wont tell what they make. Of course nys has their hands in it to with the taxes they have put on gas and the taxes in erie county has on it is high . so if gas is high in this area nys should drop there tax for WNY... good luck with that.
